Upon hearing this, Kwang-woo couldn't help but smile.
He reached out and ruffled Ai's hair, saying, "And what about me?"
Upon closer reflection, the story in this novel is somewhat similar to some of their experiences.
The protagonist's parents died in an accident shortly after his birth.
This is somewhat similar to Ai's experience.
The only difference is that Ai has an older sister.
Both he and Ai were lucky; after experiencing the ups and downs of life, they met each other.
The once gloomy world brightened up under a ray of sunlight, and thus gained more color.
Perhaps it was because this story was somewhat similar to some of their own experiences that the last sentence of the book resonated so deeply with Guangyou and his companion.
The world isn't that bad; it's just that we haven't met the right person yet.
This person doesn't necessarily have to be a lover; it could be a family member or a friend.
Most people would be very fortunate to have even one of these three things.
And I have all three.
Coming to his senses, Kōyū turned to look at Ai, a smile involuntarily creeping onto his lips.
Noticing the change in Kōyū, Ai didn't say anything, but silently took his hand.
"I'll go get the hairdryer." Kōyū suddenly remembered that Ai's hair wasn't dry when he was rubbing it earlier, so he wanted to help her dry it.
Judging from the degree of dampness, Ai probably just wiped herself with a towel.
Since I happen to have nothing to do right now, it wouldn't hurt to blow-dry this girl's hair.
"Mm." Ai knew what Kousuke was thinking, so she responded and let go of his hand.
Watching Kōyū's departing figure, Ai touched her damp hair, a smile appearing on her lips.
On his way to the living room, Guangyou took out his phone and looked up information about blow-drying hair.
This wasn't the first time he'd stayed at Professor Agasa's house, so Kōyū naturally knew where the hairdryer was.
In addition to the hair dryer, Guangyou also brought a comb and a dry towel.
Back in the basement, Guangyou freed one hand and turned on the basement light.
He hadn't turned on the lights just now; whether he was drawing or reading, he always used the desk lamp.
After walking behind the chair where Ai was sitting, Kōyū greeted her first, "Let's begin."
"Mmm." Ai nodded, leaning back in her chair, waiting for Kōyū to blow-dry her hair.
After plugging in the hair dryer, Guangyou placed it on the table.
Blow-drying your hair immediately after washing it can damage your hair.
For girls, hair is quite important.
For some girls, hair is their second life.
Some people say that it's best to let your hair air dry after washing it, because using a hairdryer can affect the hair's texture.
That statement is only half true; hair dryers can indeed affect hair quality.
However, air drying also affects hair quality, just less than the effect of blow drying.
At this moment, Kōyū first sandwiched Ai's hair between the towels to absorb the moisture from the hair.
Then Kōyū picked up a comb and gently combed Ai's hair.
Sensing Kōyū's serious attitude, Ai's smile became even more pronounced.
This was the first time someone had ever combed her hair.
A few minutes later, Guangyou picked up the hair dryer that was placed next to him.
After setting the hair dryer to the cool setting and the fan speed to the second level, Guangyou turned it on.
I tested the temperature with my hand.
Yes, the temperature is just right.
The cool air from a hair dryer is mainly used for styling, while the hot air is used to dry hair in a short time.
Actually, Guangyou prefers to use the warm setting because it's better for his hair.
Unfortunately, this hair dryer doesn't have a warm setting, only hot and cold settings, so I'll have to make do with it for now.
Keep a distance of about ten centimeters between the hair dryer and your hair to reduce damage to the hair during the evaporation of moisture.
These are all things that Guangyou Gang knew.
Hmm, my knowledge of strange things has increased.
The greater the distance, the less heat there is, which means the time required to blow-dry your hair increases.
However, what Guangyou has in abundance right now is time.
The night is long, he still has plenty of time.
While blow-drying Ai's hair, Kōyū also used a comb to smooth Ai's hair to prevent it from getting tangled.
About five minutes later, when Kouyu felt that Ai's hair was almost dry, he turned off the hairdryer and unplugged it.
He leaned against the chair, brought his ear close, and whispered, "It's done."
"Hmm." Ai reached out and touched her hair, nodded, and smiled in response, "It's fine."
"That's fine then." Guangyou picked up the hair dryer and prepared to put it back in its place.
Before leaving, Kōyū gently ruffled Ai's hair.
Feeling the soft strands of hair brush against his fingers, Kwang-woo's lips curled into a slight smile as he whispered, "I want to blow-dry your hair for the rest of my life."
Upon hearing this, Ai turned her head and met Kousuke's gaze, teasingly saying, "Okay, how about we talk about salary first?"
“No salary required.” Guangyou continued, adding casually, “If you insist on paying me, then you can entrust your life to me.”
After saying that, Guangyou took the hair dryer and left the basement.
“Okay.” Ai replied quickly, her tone gentle.
She didn't deliberately lower her voice, so in this quiet environment, Guangyou, who had just stepped out, could hear her quite clearly.
Looking back at Ai, who was leaning against the back of her chair watching him, Kōyū smiled and said to her, "Then it's settled."
