Chapter 737 Conan Being Ignored

Coming to his senses, Guangyou edited the text message again and sent it.

He originally wanted to reply, "Don't worry about these details. We need to find out what secrets are hidden in this house."

After hearing that sound, it became, "I suspect someone is being held captive in the attic."

"Little friend, are you done using the restroom?"

The text message had only been sent a few seconds when Misari Ito's voice rang out from outside the bathroom.

"Trying to cover it up..." Guangyou narrowed his eyes, a playful look on his face.

How could he not see through Misari Ito's intentions?

She simply wanted to cover up the sound that had suddenly rang out earlier.

Thinking this in his heart, but not showing it on his face, Guangyou strained his abdomen and said, word by word, "I'm sorry, Auntie, I'll be done soon."

"It's nothing. I was just a little worried because you hadn't come out for so long. It's good that you're alright." Misari Ito didn't ask any more questions after hearing this response.

The next second, footsteps sounded outside the bathroom.

A few seconds later, accompanied by a muffled sound, Misari Ito's voice once again reached Kouyu's ears.

"You silly child, how did you knock things over again? You have to be careful next time."

His tone was still so kind.

Upon hearing this series of sounds, Guangyou's smile became even more pronounced.

"What terrible acting..." Kōyū glanced disdainfully at the door, as if his gaze could penetrate the wooden door and see Ito Misari putting on a show.

Withdrawing his gaze, Guangyou looked down at his phone.

Just seconds ago, Conan's reply had already been sent to his phone.

"Imprisonment? Are you sure?"

Without the slightest hesitation, Guangyou replied with considerable certainty, "I'm sure."

Guangyou was thinking when he sent this text message.

Consider how to confirm the situation in the attic.

However, this is only to confirm the situation.

If someone were actually being held captive in the attic, Guangyou would call the police and have them handle the situation.

If it's all a misunderstanding, that would be even better.

He thought about it before making this decision.

First of all, we don't know how many people are imprisoned in the attic, how many are guarding them, or whether they have weapons.

Moreover, there are hostages up there.

In addition, rescuing people is too troublesome, so Kōyū felt that it would be better to let the professionals handle it rather than go himself, while he could take Ai and go have fun.

I promised to take her out to play today, but it rained and we couldn't.

"So what are you going to do? By the way, hurry up, your uncle has already started complaining."

After seeing the message, Guangyou glanced at the time, then got up, opened the toilet seat, and pressed the flush button.

As he walked out the door, Kōyū replied to Conan, "I want to check the situation first, and then let the police handle it. We shouldn't get involved."

As soon as he stepped out of the bathroom, Misari Ito greeted him with a big smile, holding a cat, and said, "Little friend, Auntie has to go out to run some errands. You should hurry and go find Mr. Mori too."

"Hmm." Although Guangyou had a smile on his face, there was no smile in his eyes. It was a typical forced smile.

After glancing at Misari Ito, who was also smiling, but whose smile was equally forced, Kōyū replied, "Well then, Auntie, I'll be going now."

"Okay, take care on your journey." Misari Ito said with a smile, her friendly demeanor revealing no flaws whatsoever.

“Women are all born actresses…” Kōyū walked past Ito Misari, feeling her gaze on him, and grinned, revealing a playful smile.

After descending the stairs, Guangyou didn't linger or look around. Instead, he changed his shoes and prepared to leave the house directly.

Before leaving, Kōyū turned back, waved to Ito Misari on the second floor, and said with a smile, "Goodbye, Auntie."

"Goodbye, little one." Misari Ito smiled and waved to Mitsuyu.

Just a second after Guangyou turned around, the black-rimmed glasses on her face reflected an unusual glare, and at the same time, the smile on her face vanished instantly.

"Bang!"

The door slammed shut, and Misari Ito bent down, placing the cat she was holding on the floor, muttering, "I'll prepare dinner for you as soon as I've finished dealing with things."

After settling the cat, Misari Ito picked up a bent stick hidden in the stair railing, stretched it to the ceiling, and secured it to the protruding part.

Pull it down, and an entrance that can accommodate one person at a time will gradually appear on the ceiling.

As she moved, the hidden staircase appeared in the house.

"It seems our friends still don't know which side they should be on..."

...

"Honestly, you're so slow, kid." Uncle Mori frowned as he watched Kōyū approach him, took off his headphones, and urged, "Hurry up, it's getting late, we still have to go to 5chome."

"Uncle, how about we find a place to eat first?" Guangyou was about to follow Uncle Mori's suggestion, but after thinking for a moment, he suddenly changed his mind, "I'm a little hungry."

"Eat?" Uncle Mori checked the time; it was indeed time for dinner. He looked up at Ran and asked, "Are you hungry? If you are, let's go eat first, and then we'll go find them."
