Chapter 801 Unexpected Situation

“Yes.” Kōyū didn’t hear Ai’s murmur, but after hearing the first part of the sentence, he nodded in agreement.

Without discussing the topic further, Kōyū changed the subject after saying that and continued chatting with Ai.

There was no precise definition to their conversation.

Just like before, when they saw the cherry blossom tree, they could talk about the Girls' Day dolls and the prayer letters in the tree hole.

They then talked about the meaning of praying for blessings.

No matter what they talk about, the two can always have a good conversation.

"Kudo, how come those two have so much to talk about?" Hattori Heiji glanced down at Conan and muttered under his breath.

He was only three or four steps away from Guangyou, and Guangyou didn't deliberately speak in a very soft voice.

Although he didn't listen attentively, Hattori Heiji could still hear the conversation between the two people behind him.

The conversation started with the meaning of praying for blessings, then moved on to luxury goods, and then to the current luxury goods market and the mindless pursuit of luxury goods by some people.

What he couldn't understand was why Guangyou could talk for so long and have so many topics to discuss.

Conan glanced up at Heiji Hattori, shrugged, and said, "How would I know about them? You'll have to ask them."

"Never mind." Hattori Heiji waved his hand. He didn't necessarily need an answer, but he suddenly remembered complaining a few days ago about Kazuha talking on the phone with his mother for a long time.

"Heiji, shall we go to the haunted house?" Kazuha suddenly stopped and pointed to the building that seemed out of place with its surroundings, saying to Hattori Heiji.

"A haunted house?" Hattori Heiji snapped out of his daze, glanced in the direction Kazuha was pointing, and said, "Sure, I have no objection."

"I think we should skip the haunted house."

Looking at the haunted house in the distance, Xiaolan couldn't help but take a small step back, forcing a smile as she suggested, "Why don't we go have lunch first?"

"What's wrong?" Kazuha was initially a little confused, but when she saw Ran's forced smile, she understood everything.

She leaned closer to Xiaolan and whispered, "Xiaolan, are you scared?"

"How could that be!" Ran quickly denied. "I thought Conan and the others might be hungry, so I wanted to take them to have lunch first."

"I'm actually not very..." Conan started to say, but then remembered that Ran was a little afraid of these things, so he quickly shut his mouth.

Behind him, Kwang-yu couldn't help but chuckle.

He thought he just saw a red "danger" character appear above Conan's head.

It's a pity Conan didn't say it out loud, otherwise it would have been quite interesting.

"Conan, are you hungry now?" Kazuha asked Conan after hearing Ran's words.

"A little." Conan nodded quickly.

"What about Kōyū?" Kazuha asked, looking at Kōyū again.

"I'm actually fine, not very hungry." Guangyou recalled his previous haunted house experience, which was interrupted halfway through, and felt a little regretful.

Seeing that this theme park also had a haunted house, he wanted to make up for his previous regret and take Ai in to play.

However, he still had to ask Ai if she wanted to go.

Thinking of this, Kōyū looked away from the haunted house and at Kazuha, suggesting, "Kazuha-neechan, why don't we have Ran-neechan and Conan go to a restaurant to order food first, and then we can go to the haunted house?"

After talking to Kazuha, Kousuke wanted to ask Ai a question, but before he could speak, he heard Ai whisper to him.

"I'll go too."

Turning his head to look at Ai, who had said those words, Kōyū smiled and gently squeezed her hand.

"Alright." Kazuha could tell that Ran didn't really want to go, so she didn't insist. Besides, Kouyu's suggestion sounded pretty good too.

Both ends are taken care of.

"How about we do as Guangyou suggests?"

After responding, Kazuha said to Ran, "Ran, you and Conan go find a restaurant for lunch first. We'll meet up with you after we leave the haunted house."

"Okay." Ran nodded, looked at Conan, and said, "Conan, let's go first."

"Okay!" Conan replied with a smile.

As she turned around, Xiaolan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

After the two left, Kazuha withdrew his gaze and said to the others, "Let's go too."

"Um."

After discussing it, the group headed towards the haunted house.

There were quite a few people queuing in front of the haunted house, but this haunted house was not the semi-open type like the last one; it was a linear haunted house.

Simply follow the prescribed route, trigger the mechanisms, and continue until you reach the exit.

Because of the linear process, the queuing time is greatly reduced.

After queuing for two or three minutes, the group entered the haunted house.

...

Ten minutes later, the group left the haunted house.

Upon seeing the sunlight outside the haunted house, Kazuha breathed a long sigh of relief.

"As expected, it wasn't very challenging." Guangyou and Ai walked out of the haunted house. Guangyou shielded his eyes from the glaring sunlight with his hand, squinted slightly, and said with a smile on his lips.

This outcome was within his expectations.

However, some situations were beyond his expectations.

For example, after entering the haunted house, Ai tightly held his hand and leaned close to him, as if she was very scared.

But Kōsuke knew that Ai wasn't scared.

She just wanted to satisfy his little desires.

Bringing a girl you like to a haunted house is simply a way to show off your manly side.

And Ai Haibara perfectly fulfilled his little wish.

Although he didn't jump into his arms, Kwang-yu was already very happy.

“Let’s go have lunch.” Hattori Heiji yawned, his expression calm. He wasn’t scared by the haunted house at all; in fact, he found it rather boring.

"Hmm." After recovering, Kazuha nodded, took out her phone and sent a text message to Ran, asking her about the location of the restaurant she was in.

While waiting for Ran's reply, Kazuha suddenly remembered what had happened in the haunted house.

She couldn't help but exclaim, "I was so scared just now, I thought something terrible had happened."

“Yes, I also thought there had been a case.” Kōyū nodded.

Not only did Ai deliberately fulfill his little wish, but another truly unexpected situation also occurred.

A man got into an argument with another person while traveling.

During their argument, the man suddenly collapsed to the ground, and blood gushed from his nose like a tap that had been turned on.

Upon hearing the scream, Hattori Heiji went over to check what was happening.

They found a cut on the man's head and assumed the two had fought. Later they learned that the man who fell had a medical history.

The man had originally planned to come to the haunted house with his friends to prove his courage, but during an argument, his blood rushed to his head and he fainted.

Unfortunately, it fell right on the corner.

Fortunately, the staff at the haunted house arrived quickly to handle the situation, and the group didn't waste too much time there.
