Ten minutes later...
The group entered the venue.
The others each chose a bumper car, got in, and waited for it to start.
Kōyū and Ai only chose one car.
Once all the vehicles were full, the staff said, "Be careful, and have fun," before starting the equipment.
"Conan, is this how you play bumper cars?" Kōyū couldn't help but laugh as he looked at Conan, who was spinning around in place.
"What's wrong with spinning in place? Is that not allowed?" Conan replied to Mitsuyoshi while continuing to make the bumper car spin in place.
"It's not that it's impossible, I remember you can drive." Kōyū clearly remembered that Conan had a Hawaiian buff, so driving was just basic stuff for him.
Conan learned about airplanes, helicopters, and speedboats from Yusaku Kudo in Hawaii.
Surely they can drive bumper cars, right?
"Yes, I can." Conan had barely finished speaking when he stopped the bumper car, shook his head, looked at Kōyū, and asked, "What's wrong?"
"So what are you doing..." Kōyū looked Conan up and down and asked, "Are you doing performance art? Bumper cars that don't crash into others, but just spin around in place?"
"...You're the one doing performance art... Instead of driving bumper cars, come and chat with me."
As he spoke, Conan stepped on the gas, symbolically bumping into Kouyu's bumper car, and then said, "Didn't I bump into it?"
He just wasn't very interested in bumper cars.
"..." Kōyū glanced at Conan, scoffed, and then slammed on the gas, bumping into Conan's bumper car.
Before Conan could react, Kousuke drove off in his bumper car after the crash.
"Hit and run, that feels great..."
After bumping into Conan, Kōyū started circling the field.
"Ai, this feeling is so strange." Kōyū slowed down, turned to look at Ai sitting next to him, and said.
"It feels like taking a bumper car ride."
"A bit, actually." Ai glanced around the area and said, "Then why don't you join in? Otherwise, what's the point of calling it bumper cars?"
Before Kōyū could speak, a force came from behind, causing Kōyū and Ai to lean forward slightly.
As soon as I turned around, I saw Conan driving a bumper car and "escaping the scene".
"Conan..." Kōyū decisively stepped on the gas and chased after him.
...
A round of bumper cars only lasts a few minutes and ends quickly.
The game was quite enjoyable.
Heiji Hattori, in particular, has been looking for an opportunity to bump into Conan.
Conan, not to be outdone, was equally determined.
And so the two of them bumped into each other.
Guangyou watched the show from the sidelines. Although he didn't play for long, the show was quite interesting.
After leaving the site, the group continued along the park's paths toward the next attraction.
...
Halfway there, Kazuha and Ran, who were walking in front, suddenly stopped.
"Ran, that's so cute!" Kazuha pointed to a hamster plushie in a gift shop by the roadside and suggested, "Why don't we go in and take a look?"
"It's really cute!" Xiaolan looked at the hamster plushie through the glass window with a smile on her face.
Following their gaze, Kōyū also saw the hamster plush toy. He turned his head, ready to ask Ai if she wanted it.
Before she could even ask, Ai shook her head and said, "I have a lot of dolls."
Upon hearing this, Guangyou didn't say anything like "you can never have too much of this kind of thing," but simply said, "Then let's go in and take a look."
"Mmm," Ai replied.
"Heiji, let's go check out that gift shop." Kazuha turned to look at Hattori Heiji, and a smile appeared on her face as she recalled what had just happened.
"Let's go then." Heiji Hattori put his hands in his pockets, strode off, and headed straight for the gift shop.
...
The gift shop was bustling with tourists.
Most people want to buy small souvenirs here.
For example, T-shirts and hats printed with theme park mascots.
Two rows of gashapon machines were placed on either side of the store entrance, and many children were squatting in front of the Kamen Rider gashapon machine.
If you draw the one you want, you'll definitely have a big smile on your face.
But if they draw something they don't want or already have, they'll go up to their parents, hold up one finger, and say things like, "I want to do it again, just once!"
In addition to the Kamen Rider gashapon machine, there is also a gashapon machine with coins.
As he passed by the gashapon machine, Kōyū glanced at the prize list.
"One yen... one hundred... five hundred... and ancient coins."
Without lingering in front of the gashapon machine, Kōyū quickly regrouped, took Ai's hand, and continued walking inside.
After walking a few steps further in, Guangyou saw Kazuha standing in front of a claw machine.
"Do I have to win that hamster plushie?" Kazuha sighed, looking at the hamster plushie in the claw machine. "I thought I could buy it."
She originally wanted to come in and buy a hamster plush toy to take back to Osaka.
But once inside, they discovered that the hamster plush toy wasn't for sale; it was offered as the grand prize in the claw machine.
"Why don't you get another one?" Hattori Heiji said to Kazuha with a smile, standing in front of the shelf with a small duck plush toy in his hand.
"I think this is pretty good."
"I don't want that!" Kazuha stuck out her tongue at Hattori Heiji, then turned back to look at the hamster plushie.
