"The reason why there is blood coming from the corner of the mouth after hanging oneself in movies and television is because..."
After explaining the possible scenarios of suicide by hanging, Guangyou continued,
"I think it was done on purpose so that the audience would know at a glance that the character in the play had died."
“Kuangyou is right.” Conan chimed in, but before he could finish two sentences, he felt a discomfort in his throat and couldn’t help coughing twice.
"If your throat hurts, then don't talk." Kōyū glanced at Conan, who insisted on showing up to make his presence known, and was speechless, but he still gave him a reminder.
"Be careful, you might lose your voice later."
Since you have a sore throat, just stay put and watch.
I don't know what Conan was thinking, he had to come out and say a few words to make his presence known.
"Yeah." Ran squatted down next to Conan and said with concern, "Conan, your throat hurts, so don't talk."
“That kid was right.” Yamamura Misao looked at the body, which had been untied and laid flat on the ground by the forensic personnel, and was somewhat puzzled.
Why is blood coming out of my mouth?
“There are two possibilities,” Guangyou said, standing a few steps away and looking at the corpse. “The first possibility is that there was a wound in the mouth.”
"Another possibility is that the wounds in the victim's mouth were caused by the murderer."
When Kouyu said those words, Akashi Hiroto's expression changed slightly, but he quickly returned to his previous state.
It was as if nothing had just happened.
Unfortunately, Ai Haibara noticed this change.
She had a guess in her mind, but it was just a guess.
There is currently no evidence to support this claim.
"If it's the second possibility, then that means this case is a murder?" Yamamura Misao's expression turned serious as he thought about this.
But then a hint of joy flashed in his eyes.
It wasn't that he disrespected the deceased and the case, but rather that if it were the latter, then the "equipment" he had brought with him today would come in handy.
Just then, Akashi Hiroto took a few steps forward, walked to Yamamura Misao's side, and said to him:
I think it should be the first one.
"The wound in my mouth is probably because my father recently went to the dentist."
“He told me that his teeth hurt and that he needed to see a dentist.”
"Excuse me, who are you?" Yamamura Misao memorized this information, then looked up at Akashi Hiroto and asked.
"Mr. Akashi's son?"
“Yes.” Akashi Hiroto nodded and said naturally, “My name is Akashi Hiroto, and I am the adopted son of my father, Akashi Hisao.”
"An adopted son?" Yamamura Misao was taken aback.
“Yes.” Hiroto Akashi nodded again and said, “My parents adopted me when I was very young.”
This wasn't important information, and no one paid it any mind.
But when Ai heard this news, she raised an eyebrow.
If the child is adopted, then the chances of that kind of thing happening are higher.
Perhaps it was because of that kind of thing that he "committed suicide by hanging".
The others, including Kōyū and Conan, didn't pay attention to this information. Uncle Mori walked forward and squatted down next to the corpse.
My gaze followed the bloodstains at the corner of his mouth upwards, finally landing on Akashi Takeo's mouth.
To avoid confusion with Akashi Takeo, Uncle Mori addressed Akashi Hiroto directly by his given name followed by a respectful title, saying:
"We cannot rule out the possibility that Mr. Kuan-ren mentioned."
"The deceased's right molar had been extracted."
After verifying the situation, Uncle Mori straightened up.
However, his gaze remained fixed on the corpse as he continued:
"It looks like after death, blood started flowing out from here, and then dripped down with saliva."
"Mr. Kuanren".
After hearing Uncle Mori's conclusion, Yamamura Misao immediately asked, "Do you know when and where your father went to see the dentist?"
“I don’t know.” Hiroto Akashi shook his head and said, “I only know that my father went out two or three days ago.”
"Where the deceased went before his death doesn't really matter," Uncle Mori interrupted after carefully examining the crime scene.
"Based on the information currently available, the deceased most likely committed suicide."
As he spoke, Uncle Mori pointed to the ladder lying on the ground, then looked up at the roof beam above the room and continued:
"I think he probably climbed up using this ladder that was lying on the ground."
"Climb up the ladder, loop the rope around the beam, tie a knot, and then stick your head in."
"It is very likely suicide."
"Moreover, Mr. Hiroto once told me that his father had said something like 'I don't want to live anymore'."
"That's probably why." Hiroto Akashi lowered his head, sighed, and a hint of regret showed in his tone.
"If I had paid more attention to my father, this might not have happened."
"Nobody expected this to happen," Uncle Mori said, patting Hiroto Akashi on the shoulder in a comforting tone.
"Mr. Kuanren, don't take it too seriously, try to think more positively."
"Mm," Hiroto Akashi replied, bowing his head.
"No way..." Yamamura Misao, after hearing the conclusion that the case might be a suicide, pulled a video camera from his pocket and frowned in distress.
"Then I brought the camera here for nothing, didn't I?"
"I told my colleagues at the police station that I was going to record a 'Sleeping Kogoro' mystery show to show them!"
