“Okay, let’s go take a look.” Chen Jianguo stood up and said.

"What's the rush? We'll grab a bite to eat later," Brother Qi said, standing up as well.

"No, no, I'm in a bit of a rush today. The crane has already been delivered. I'll treat you next time I come," Chen Jianguo said, putting his arm around his shoulder.

"Alright, then I'll be waiting for you." Brother Qi said seriously, then laughed heartily.

The group left the house and drove to the mine. When they arrived, the workers were quite surprised to see Chen Feng.

Because time flies, it's been a while since I last visited.

Someone greeted them.

"Hey, where's your warehouse? I'll go get a welding machine." Chen Feng nodded in response.

"Brother Feng, come with me." Someone said, putting down their tools as soon as they heard this.

"Why haven't you come back for so long? What have you been doing?" the man asked as he walked.

“I still have a few mines under my control. I’ve been busy there lately,” Chen Feng replied.

He certainly couldn't tell them the truth and that he had other work and only came back occasionally.

With Chen Feng's answer, the workers were unsure of his true situation and simply assumed that he had been busy with other things lately, traveling back and forth between several mines.

This would keep the workers much quieter, and Chen Feng would be happy to have some free time.

"Here you go, Brother Feng, is there anything else you need?" the man said, handing the welding machine to Chen Feng.

This is Chen Feng. He can take things as he pleases even if the accountant doesn't come. If it were someone else, they would have to call the accountant, otherwise who could take on this responsibility?

"Find me some more steel bars," Chen Feng said, taking the welding machine and handing it to Huang Fei.

"Wow, this thing is pretty heavy." Huang Fei said instinctively as he took it and lifted it up to hold it tight.

"Okay, then the worker went deep into the warehouse and brought Chen Feng a lot of brand new steel bars."

"Brother Feng, are fifty sticks enough?"

"That's enough. I'll come back for more if it's not enough." Chen Feng took out a cigarette and handed it to him.

"Alright, I'm leaving."

After loading the items into the car, Huang Fei drove back.

"Fengzi, you're really useful here. I feel like you could take it even without us telling Uncle Qi," Huang Fei said with a smile.

“That’s the situation, but we definitely can’t do it that way,” Chen Feng said from the passenger seat.

"That's true. I reckon if we drive faster, we can catch up with the crane. That thing drives slowly," Huang Fei said, lightly pressing the accelerator.

"Slow down, bro. Pull the steel bars from behind, it'll wobble a bit." Chen Feng wasn't in a hurry.

"Hmm." Huang Fei knew what was going on.

So, when they were almost there, the car rental owner called them.

"Friend, the crane has been delivered, and your friend has signed for it."

"Okay, I'll transfer the money to you right now. We'll be there soon." Chen Jianguo said, then hung up the phone and transferred the money.

When they arrived at the location, the crane was indeed already on the riverbank.

"Wow, this thing is huge, how do you open it?" Lin Nian asked as he approached.

"I don't know either, you'll have to ask your uncle." Chen Feng got out of the car and closed the door.

"No rush, I'll weld a big cage first. Hey you, go drag me a power strip." Chen Jianguo carried the welding machine down.

"I'm going!" Li Chunlai said, his steps quick as lightning.

"Dad, did we forget to ask him for a mask?" Chen Feng suddenly realized that he had forgotten something.

"Damn, why didn't you say so earlier? It's okay, it can be welded like this." Chen Jianguo got into the car and brought over a pair of sunglasses.

After Li Chunlai dragged over the power strip, Chen Jianguo put on sunglasses, roughly planned out the size, and began to operate it.

Chen Jianguo continued welding the large cage until it was completely finished. After finishing, he even tugged on it to test its sturdiness.

Actually, the cage is a square shape, but it has an opening at the top. Chen Jianguo also welded several steel bars on the top to keep it stable and to give the crane something to hook onto.

“Alright, let’s try it in the water. Lay the cage flat, then throw stones in. Once you’re done, move away and I’ll hoist it up,” Chen Jianguo said.

"Okay, let's go in the water and try it out." Lin Nian and Li Chunlai went to get dressed, and Chen Feng helped them put on their helmets and headsets.

Once everything was ready, the two of them dragged the cage into the water, the rope already tied before they went in.

Once they reached the bottom of the water, they pulled the cage closer and laid it down, then started throwing stones into it together.

Chen Feng stepped forward, untied the rope, and tied it to the side of the cage. This way, when Chen Jianguo used the crane, the stones inside the cage would be poured out directly, saving him the trouble of moving them.

"Okay, let's begin." After finishing all this, Chen Feng quickly ran away with Huang Fei.

Sure enough, as soon as Chen Jianguo lifted the crane, all the stones were poured out with a clatter, leaving only one or two stuck inside.

Chen Feng and Huang Fei stepped forward, removed the two stones, re-tied the rope, and gave each other an OK sign.
