"My sister is inside!"

Yourong Xuanya stretched out a slightly trembling finger and pointed at the huge cicada pupa in front of her, which was as big as a hill. Her voice trembled with fear. Xiao Ning's eyes widened, his face full of disbelief, staring at the mysterious and strange object.

As soon as they entered the door, a stale and decayed smell hit them in the face. The passage was long, narrow and dark, and seemed to have no end. The two walked along the passage, and the stone pavement under their feet made a slight creaking sound, which was particularly clear in the silent environment. After walking for a long time and passing through a series of solid prison doors, they finally came to a room in the deepest part.

The guard who led the way walked forward and pushed the door open. Instantly, a cold and damp air rushed out of the room, making people shiver. The room was dimly lit, with only a few weakly swaying torches emitting a dim light, making the whole space seem even more gloomy and terrifying. With this little light, one could vaguely see a listless figure trapped on a shabby prison chair, with his head lowered and his face unclear.

Xiao Ning stared at the figure, the anger in his heart was like a blazing flame that was hard to contain. But he still tried to control his emotions, turned his head to look at Yourong Xuanya beside him, and said firmly: "Sister, I want to go in and talk to him face to face."

Yourong Xuanya stared at Xiao Ning quietly, with a trace of worry in her eyes. However, after a little thought, she nodded slightly to show her agreement. Then, she winked at the guard next to her, who understood and hurried forward to open the cell door.
