Xu Mo transmi...
Gavin paused, a hint of hesitation on his face. He bit his lip slightly, his eyes revealing a conflicted look, unsure whether to speak up about the matter that had been weighing on his mind. "What is it?" The Governor also stopped and looked at Gavin.
The Governor's brow furrowed slightly, a hint of confusion in his eyes. He paused, his gaze fixed on Gavin, awaiting his response. Gavin paused, then said, "Last night, while our team was driving back to Woodbury, we saw some zombies that could run. They weren't very fast, running at about the same speed as a human jogging."
Gavin's voice trembled slightly, and a hint of fear flashed through his eyes. He recalled the scene he had witnessed last night, and his heart was still filled with unease. A zombie that could run?
A flash of surprise flashed across the Governor's eyes, and various possibilities instantly emerged in his mind. His heartbeat quickened slightly, realizing that this might be a major change. Hearing Gavin's words, the Governor was also stunned for a moment, and then immediately asked back:
The Governor's body stiffened slightly, then he quickly reacted. His eyes were filled with doubt as he stared at Gavin, trying to find the answer from his expression. "Running zombies? Are you sure you're not seeing things? Since we left Woodbury this morning, I haven't seen any running zombies."
The Governor's voice was stern, his eyes skeptical. He recalled everything he had seen and heard along the way, and his heart was filled with doubts about Gavin's words. But as soon as he finished speaking, the Governor seemed to think of something and stood still.
A flash of thought flashed across the Governor's eyes, his mind rapidly sorting through various pieces of information. He stood still, motionless, as if contemplating a crucial decision. Beside the Governor, Gar was also pondering.
Gavin's eyes revealed a hint of confusion, his brow furrowed as he fell into deep thought. He began to doubt his own judgment, his heart filled with confusion. He was already somewhat unsure if what he saw yesterday was real, and now hearing the Governor's words, he suspected even more that he might have been mistaken.
Gavin's eyes betrayed a hint of disappointment, his shoulders slumping slightly. He began to waver, doubting his own observations. Perhaps it was because he was driving too fast yesterday, coupled with the darkness, that he had misjudged the zombies and imagined them running.
Gavin sighed softly, a hint of helplessness in his eyes. He tried to find a reasonable explanation for his misjudgment, his heart filled with self-blame. Zombies were scary enough, but if they could run, they would be even scarier. He wished he had been mistaken.
Gavin's eyes flashed with fear, and his body trembled slightly. He knew full well the consequences of the zombies running, and he prayed that this was just a misconception. "Maybe I'm seeing things," Gavin said, rubbing his head.
Gavin slowly raised his hand and touched his head, a hint of embarrassment in his eyes. His voice was filled with resignation as he admitted his possible mistake. The Governor had finally come to his senses. He patted Gavin on the shoulder and said, "There's no rush for this. Let's go get our supplies! We have to get back to Woodbury before dark."
The Governor's eyes revealed a hint of determination, and he clapped his hand firmly on Gavin's shoulder. His voice was filled with command, making Gavin feel an invisible pressure. "Yes." Gavin nodded and continued to lead the way.
Gavin nodded vigorously again, a look of determination in his eyes. He turned, quickened his pace, and led the team toward the survivors' camp. ————Night.
Night slowly descended upon the earth like a vast black curtain. In the darkness, the silence was unsettling, the occasional rustle of the wind like the whisper of a ghost. Abandoned quarry camp.
Inside the camp, the dim glow of the campfire illuminated the tired yet hopeful faces of the people. The surroundings were remarkably quiet, with only the crackling of the fire as it burned. Xu Mo, Amy, and Andrea sat around a campfire, enjoying a feast of fish.
Xu Mo sat by the campfire, leaning forward slightly, a look of vigilance in his eyes. He ate his fish while keeping an eye on his surroundings, always alert. Andrea had caught these fish this afternoon alone in the middle of the lake.
Andrea raised her chin slightly, a hint of pride in her eyes. She looked at the people around the campfire, feeling proud of her own achievements. In the RV, Rick was standing there, keeping an eye on the surroundings.
Rick stood tall in the RV, his gaze sweeping around him. His eyes revealed a determination and focus, as he watched every corner for signs of danger. Daryl, disliking crowds, volunteered to patrol the edge of the camp.
Daryl walked slowly around the edge of the camp with steady steps. A hint of arrogance lingered in his eyes, and he held his weapon tightly in his hands, ready to deal with any possible danger. The appearance of the zombies this morning and Xu Mo's words had still caught their attention.
A shadow hung over everyone's hearts, the fear of the zombies deeply etched in their hearts. Their eyes revealed a hint of tension, constantly on guard against another zombie attack. At this moment, Lori stood up from her seat.
Lori's movements were gentle, but they still caught the attention of those around her. She bit her lip slightly, a hint of hesitation in her eyes. "Mom?" Seeing Lori suddenly stand up, Carl looked up at her in confusion.
