Chapter 40 Beth's Feelings

"Really?" She asked cautiously, her voice trembling slightly, afraid that she had heard it wrong, her heart filled with surprise and uneasiness.

"Of course it's true." Xu Mo smiled softly, his eyes full of doting. At the same time, he reached out and gently wiped away the tear marks on Beth's face that had not completely dried. His movements were as gentle as the breeze.

After hearing Xu Mo's words, Beth could no longer suppress her inner excitement. Tears of joy flashed in her eyes. She opened her arms and hooked them around Xu Mo's shoulders. She threw herself into Xu Mo's arms like a bird returning to its nest.

Xu Mo paused slightly, a hint of tenderness flashed in his eyes, and then he reached out and hugged Beth tightly, while gently patting Beth's back, his actions full of comfort.

"Brother, it seems that another beautiful girl has been conquered by Xu Mo." Moore looked at Beth and Xu Mo not far away, with a teasing smile on his face, and said with some emotion.

Daryl frowned slightly when he heard that. He looked at Mor in confusion and said, "Really? How did you tell? They were just hugging."

Moore glanced at Daryl, a sly look flashing in his eyes, and said with a smile: "It seems that I haven't taught our little Daryl anything about women yet, right?"

"Moir, don't talk to me about that. You know I'm not interested in that kind of thing." Daryl said impatiently with a look of disgust on his face when he heard that.

In his mind, women would only affect his archery speed.

Moore continued, "Wait until you find a woman and have sex with her and hear her scream in bed, and you'll know how good it is."

Daryl rolled his eyes speechlessly, glanced at Maul, put the crossbow on his shoulder, turned around and found a quiet place with few people, wanting to get away from Maul's teasing.

The other side.

Xu Mo and Beth hugged each other for nearly a minute, and time seemed to stand still at this moment.

Xu Mo looked at Beth with tenderness in his eyes, and whispered in her ear: "It's time for us to return. If there is anything, we can talk about it later, okay?"

"Yeah." Beth nodded gently, with a hint of reluctance in her eyes, and reluctantly left Xu Mo's arms.

The two of them quickly returned to the group.

"How's the situation?" After returning to the crowd, Xu Mo looked at Maggie with concern in his eyes and asked.

Maggie glanced at Beth with some envy, her eyes mixed with a hint of complicated emotions, and then she also answered Xu Mo's question:

"Shane's body was also found."

Xu Mo nodded slightly when he heard this, and a hint of understanding flashed in his eyes. He looked at Hershel and asked, "How do you want to deal with Annette and Shane?"

Hershel also spoke at this time: "Xu Mo, if possible, we hope you can dig a grave and bury them for us."

"No problem." Xu Mo agreed without hesitation, with determination in his eyes.

After saying that, Xu Mo looked at Hershel and continued, "If you don't have anything else to do, go back and rest. I will take care of the rest."

"Then I'll leave it to you." Hershel nodded slightly, his eyes full of gratitude, and then looked at Maggie and Beth and said, "Let's go back."

With that, Hershel turned around and walked towards his house with steady steps.

Maggie glanced at Beth and Xu Mo, a complicated look flashed in her eyes, and followed suit.

"Xu Mo" Beth looked at Xu Mo with a hint of affection in her eyes and called softly.

"Go back first." Xu Mo also nodded at her, his eyes conveying a comforting message.

Beth understood and quickened her pace to catch up with Hershel and Maggie.
