Chapter 63: Cleaning the Prison

Xu Mo smiled faintly and said, "In that case, quickly take this gun and clear out all the zombies inside. Don't waste bullets, and try to kill one zombie at a time!" His tone became serious, and his eyes were full of command. He glanced at everyone, as if giving an important combat order.

"Yes!" Upon hearing this, the others perked up, gripping their rifles tightly and with determined eyes, they began shooting at the zombies on the prison lawn. Their focused expressions seemed to indicate that only the zombies they were looking for needed extermination.

Just three or four minutes.

Under the suppression of the crowd's firepower, the sound of gunfire echoed one after another, like a passionate battle symphony. Soon, the lawn and the zombies that could be seen outside the prison were all cleared away, and the ground was littered with the corpses of zombies, a mess.

"Let's go in." After seeing that the zombies had been cleared away, Xu Mo nodded slightly, his eyes revealing a hint of determination, and gave orders to the others. His voice was steady and powerful, and it was particularly clear in the silent environment.

Soon Xu Mo got on the RV, started the car skillfully, led the others slowly towards the prison gate, then opened the heavy door and drove the RV onto the lawn inside the prison.

Standing on the prison lawn, the other people's faces showed joyful smiles, which were full of the joy of victory and anticipation for the future. They looked at each other with excitement in their eyes, as if they saw a new and safe living environment right before their eyes.

Xu Mo also got out of the RV. He walked steadily and looked around at the surrounding environment. Then he said, "Next, let's assign the next stage of combat missions." His voice was serious and solemn, which made everyone quiet down instantly. They all looked at him, waiting for his arrangements.

Xu Mo pointed at Rick, Sean, Moore, Daryl and Glenn, his eyes lingering on them one by one, and said solemnly:

"Rick, Sean, Maul, Daryl and Glenn, the five of you will come with me into the prison facility to clean out the zombies inside." His tone was unquestionable, and his eyes showed his trust in them, as if this was a well-considered decision.

After saying that, Xu Mo turned his gaze to Morales, T, Dale and Andrea, pointed at them and said:

"Morales, T, Dale, Andrea, you climb up to the watchtower next to you and be responsible for clearing the zombies outside the prison." There was expectation in his eyes, as if telling them that this task was equally important.

"Jim, you take the rest of the people to clean up the corpses of the zombies on the lawn." Xu Mo looked at Jim, with a hint of advice in his eyes, hoping that he could complete this seemingly simple but indispensable task.

"Yes." Everyone responded in unison, and then immediately began to act according to Xu Mo's instructions. Their movements were swift and orderly, each heading towards their own task without any delay.

Xu Mo, along with Rick, Daryl, and the others, also walked through the inner gate and out of the prison facility. They walked lightly, their eyes vigilantly observing the movements around them, always ready to deal with any zombies that might appear.

After walking a distance inside, everything was quiet and I didn't see a single zombie.

This is normal. Most of the zombies here were attracted to the lawn by the gunfire and killed. Xu Mo thought to himself, with a hint of understanding in his eyes, but he still did not let down his guard and continued to lead them inside.

Soon, they spotted several zombies in bomb-proof suits and dozens more in prison uniforms around a corner. Their clothes were tattered, emitting a lingering smell of decay. They were slowly swaying, seemingly hearing their footsteps. They all looked at them simultaneously, then slowly walked towards them, their stiff movements carrying an inexplicable sense of oppression.

"Shoot!" Xu Mo's face was calm, but his eyes instantly became sharp. He quickly raised the general-purpose rifle in his hand and shouted the order to fire. His voice was loud and decisive, echoing in this slightly narrow space.

Soon, under the absolute firepower suppression of the crowd, gunshots rang out again, flames flashed, and this group of zombies fell to the ground like harvested wheat, unable to move anymore.

"It looks safe here." Looking at the corpses of the zombies around him, Glenn breathed a sigh of relief, a relaxed look on his face, and spoke.

"That yard over there doesn't look safe." Daryl frowned, his eyes full of vigilance, and pointed to an area not far outside the prison facility. His eyes were fixed in that direction, as if he sensed the danger lurking there.

"Look, that's a civilian." Daryl pointed to a zombie wearing civilian clothes on the ground next to him. A trace of regret flashed in his eyes, as if he felt sorry for this ordinary life turning into a zombie.

Sean touched his head, frowned, and said solemnly: "It seems that the prison is full of zombies pouring in from outside." There was worry in his eyes, realizing that the situation in this prison was more complicated than he had imagined.

Xu Mo nodded, his eyes serious, and said: "Our task today is to get rid of all the zombies in the prison and repair the gaps in the prison at the same time." His tone was firm, as if he had made up his mind to complete this difficult task.

"Today? Is there enough time?" Glenn scratched his head in confusion, his eyes full of doubt. He looked at Xu Mo, as if he didn't believe that so many tasks could be completed in one day.
