Chapter 63: Cleaning the Prison

Xu Mo thought for a moment, a thoughtful look in his eyes. After a moment, he said:

"Let's clear out the zombies outside the prison facility first. After that, you go find a gap in the prison and temporarily block it with things like wood and stones. I will be responsible for clearing out the remaining zombies inside the prison facility." His eyes swept over everyone one by one, his tone calm, trying to make everyone understand the feasibility of this battle plan.

"You are going to clean out the zombies in the prison facility by yourself? This is too dangerous. Can you do it alone?" Rick frowned, his eyes full of confusion and worry. He looked at Xu Mo as if he was looking at a relative who was about to go on an adventure, and his heart was full of uneasiness.

Xu Mo smiled and patted Rick's shoulder, his movements gentle but powerful, his eyes revealing confidence and comfort, and said, "Don't worry, Rick, I'm stronger than you think." His smile was warm and firm, trying to make Rick put aside his worries.

After saying that, Xu Mo retracted his smile, his face became serious, and he said loudly: "Follow the order!" His voice was loud and majestic, and there was no room for questioning, as if there was an invisible force that forced everyone to obey.

"Yes!" After hearing Xu Mo's words, although the others were still a little worried, they had to agree. There was helplessness in their eyes, but they also understood that military orders were like mountains, and they could only carry out the mission according to the arrangements.

Soon, all the zombies outside the prison facility were cleared out, and Rick and others followed Xu Mo's instructions to find and fill the gaps in the prison.

Xu Mo came to the gate of the prison facility alone. He took a deep breath, his eyes showing determination. Then he reached out and pushed open the door and walked into the prison.

After entering, what caught my eye was a floor full of waste paper and garbage. The surroundings were in a mess. Apart from that, there was not a single zombie around, and it was strangely quiet.

Xu Mo observed the surrounding environment briefly. His eyes lingered on the round table and stools on the ground for a moment, then he looked at the iron stairs and a small room as big as a toilet on the opposite wall, secretly thinking about the layout here and the possible dangers.

Xu Mo walked up the stairs carefully, taking each step steadily, scanning his surroundings with vigilance, always on guard against the zombies that might suddenly appear. Finally, he arrived at this small room.

The small room was dimly lit, with several blacked-out screens. A prison guard, found dead on a chair in the center, had committed suicide. His body was stiff, his face twisted, and a sense of desolation emanated from him. A bunch of keys hung from his waist, standing out prominently in the dim light.

"It seems that this should be the prison's monitoring and control room, and this bunch of keys should be the keys to various units and cells in the prison." Xu Mo thought silently in his heart. He frowned slightly, and a solemn expression appeared on his face. Then he walked forward, took out the weapon he carried with him, and stabbed the prison guard's body again. After making sure there was no danger, he reached out and took away the bunch of keys hanging on his waist. His movements were quick and cautious.
