Chapter 7 Ceasefire, Call It a Day

His eyes were full of curiosity, wanting to know the truth.

"It's been almost twenty minutes since the gunshots." Morales looked at his watch and estimated the time.

There was a hint of surprise in his tone, and he felt incredible that Xu Mo had been shooting for so long.

Jacqui agreed, "Yeah, the gunfire basically didn't stop for twenty minutes. I wonder how many rounds he fired."

His eyes were full of curiosity about the number of bullets.

Rick pondered for a moment and then spoke slowly, "Judging from the gun and the sound, the Asian man must have been using the HK416 automatic assault rifle developed by the German Heckler & Koch company."

His eyes showed professionalism and confidence, and he had a deep understanding of firearms.

"The HK416 has a rate of fire of 700-900 rounds per minute. Adding the time to reload and change magazines, this Asian guy probably fired over 2,000 rounds."

Rick was calculating in his head as he spoke, confident in his deduction.

Two thousand rounds of ammunition is quite a lot.

You have to know that there are only about a thousand bullets in his gun bag.

Hearing Rick's words, the others widened their eyes and exclaimed, "Two thousand rounds, that's a lot."

Their faces were filled with shock and they couldn't believe the number.

"Even if it takes ten bullets to kill one zombie, that Asian guy must have killed at least two hundred."

Someone exclaimed, his eyes full of admiration for Xu Mo's fighting ability.

"It's incredible!" Everyone exclaimed, amazed at Xu Mo's feat.

"Wait!" Glenn suddenly exclaimed, a look of horror on his face. "Look at that Asian guy."

His fingers trembled as they pointed in Xu Mo's direction, and his voice rose an octave.

Hearing Glenn's words, everyone quickly turned their eyes towards Xu Mo.

Seeing Xu Mo's actions, they were all shocked.

Morales turned pale and asked in panic, "What is he trying to do!?"

There was a tremor in his voice, and he was worried about Xu Mo's behavior.

Andrea covered her mouth, her eyes filled with fear, and said, "Is he trying to jump from this rooftop to that rooftop?"

She couldn't believe what she saw and thought it was too dangerous.

Rick frowned and analyzed solemnly, "That rooftop is at least five or six meters away. Although the height difference is not obvious, it is still a bit of a height difference."

There was worry in his eyes, and he had a clear understanding of the difficulty of the jump.

Glenn shook his head and said, "Even for extreme parkour enthusiasts, it would be difficult to jump that far, right?"

His tone was filled with doubt, thinking that this would be almost impossible to accomplish.

Jacqui's eyes widened as he asked in horror, "Is he going to die?"

His face was full of worry, afraid that Xu Mo would get hurt.

"Hey, wait, don't do anything stupid, we can help you!" Rick shouted loudly to Xu Mo not far away, his voice echoing in the rain.

His eyes were full of concern, hoping to stop Xu Mo's dangerous behavior.

At the same time, he set his sights on Glenn: "Glenn, do you have any way to help him?"

His eyes were full of anticipation, hoping Glenn could come up with a feasible solution.

Glenn also set his sights on Rick. He lowered his head in thought, his fingers tapping his thighs. Then he looked up and said, "There is a way. That is to lure away the zombies between the two buildings.

His eyes were full of thought as he tried to think of the best solution.

"Then the Asian man could have easily climbed down to the bottom of the building through the escape stairs and escaped."

Glenn said this while gesturing the route, trying to make everyone understand his plan.

Rick nodded slightly, thought for a moment and said, "Leave him alone, that's a good idea."

His eyes showed recognition, and he felt that this plan was feasible.

Morales also joined the discussion: "The question is, how do we lure these zombies away!?"

He frowned, his face full of anxiety, and was eager to find a way to lure away the zombies.

Glenn agreed. “Yeah, the problem is how to lure them away.”

An expression of embarrassment appeared on his face, as he knew that it was not easy to lure away the zombies.

Rick continued to look at Glenn: "But you helped me escape from the tank."

His eyes were full of encouragement, hoping that Glenn could use his intelligence and talent again.

"Yes," Glenn nodded, a flicker of memory in his eyes. But they were eating at the time, their minds wandering.

He recalled the situation at that time and analyzed the reasons for his success.

"Can we distract them again?" Glenn frowned and asked.

He was thinking about how to create conditions to distract the zombies again.

Glenn said, "They locate their position by sound, just like dogs. They come running when they hear a sound."

His eyes revealed his understanding of the habits of zombies, and he was trying to find a breakthrough from this aspect.

"Anything else?" Rick continued to ask.

"In addition to hearing sounds, they also use their sense of smell to identify you. If they smell you, they will eat you immediately."

Glenn explained in detail the zombies' perception methods, providing a basis for finding a way to lure the zombies away.

After hearing what Glenn and Morales said, Rick's eyes lit up and an idea came to his mind.

There was a glint of excitement in his eyes, and he was full of confidence in his ideas.
