Chapter 85: Stone Shelter

"Hmm..." Shortly after Xu Mo logged out of the system, Magna's forehead suddenly became covered with sweat, and she suddenly sat up in bed. There was still a trace of fear and confusion in her eyes, and she was gasping for breath.

Seeing Magna like this, Xu Mo was filled with worry. He slowly reached out his hand and gently stroked Magna's cheek. His voice was as gentle as the spring breeze, and he said, "What's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?"

Magna turned her head and her eyes met Xu Mo's. At that moment, she seemed to have found support. Then, she hugged Xu Mo without hesitation.

After three or four seconds, her emotions gradually calmed down, and she slowly said, "I had a series of dreams. In the dream, I woke up and found that you were not there. The whole room was empty, and I was the only one there."

"It's okay, dreams and reality are opposites. Don't worry so much, I'm always here." Xu Mo's mouth corners slightly raised, revealing a comforting smile, and he gently kissed Magna's cold and delicate cheek.

Magna buried her head deeply in Xu Mo's arms, said "hmm", and nodded gently.

After a while, Magna raised her head, stared at Xu Mo, and said:

"By the way, Xu Mo, don't you still have to go to St. Yelm's Hospital in Charleston? I'll take you to get the car, and then we'll be off."

Xu Mo reached out and gently stroked Magna's dark golden hair, which slid lightly through his fingertips. He smiled and said:

"No need to rush. We can do that kind of thing anytime. Besides, are you able to act in your current state?"

Magna lay back on Xu Mo's chest, a thoughtful look on her cool and delicate face. She frowned slightly, a hint of hesitation in her eyes.

Indeed. Even though it was her first time last night, she dragged Xu Mo along until dawn.

The most important thing is that Xu Mo's size is much larger than the description she saw in the textbook, and she can still feel some tearing pain in her lower body.

Given her current condition, although she is not completely unable to walk, it will definitely be very uncomfortable for her to walk.

After thinking for a moment, Magna raised her head again, looked at Xu Mo, and said:

"Why don't you leave me here for now? Go to St. Yelm's Hospital in Charleston and finish what you need to do. When you're done, come back to me."

Magna's words made Xu Mo stunned for a moment. He was slightly startled at first, then reacted and scolded with a smile: "What are you thinking, you silly woman? Didn't I tell you not to worry? Besides, I will never abandon you."

A hint of determination flashed in his eyes, and he thought to himself that he had a principle, which was to protect the people he cared about. Since Magna, as well as Amy, Beth, and Maggie who remained in prison, had chosen him, he would naturally do his utmost to protect them.

What's more, these women of his not only improve his extra attributes, but also provide him with a considerable amount of points every day. For both personal and professional reasons, he would never abandon them.

After hearing Xu Mo's words, Magna felt a surge of warmth in her heart, as if the sun was shining into her heart. She silently sighed in her heart that she had not entrusted herself to the wrong person.

She stared at Xu Mo, her eyes full of affection. With an idea in her mind, she leaned forward slightly, moved forward directly, and kissed Xu Mo gently on the lips.

When Xu Mo saw Magna kissing him, he paused slightly, then his eyes became gentle and passionate as he responded to her passionate kiss.

After a while, their lips slowly parted.

Xu Mo looked into Magna's eyes, his eyes full of doting, and said softly: "You should take a day off today, and we will set off tomorrow."

"Okay." Magna nodded slightly and agreed immediately.

In the blink of an eye, it was the next morning.

Early in the morning, sunlight filtered through thin clouds, falling onto the ground. Magna took Xu Mo to a private garage next to a house.

Along the way, he encountered a few scattered zombies, their bodies twisted and their claws bared, lunging at him. Xu Mo's eyes flashed, and with a clean and neat movement, he easily dispatched them.

Magna took out a bunch of keys from her pocket. Her fingers were slender and flexible. She held the keys and pulled up the garage door. As the door slowly rose, the general scene in this private garage was soon exposed to Xu Mo's eyes.

Inside the garage, a brand-new military green SUV sat quietly. Its sleek lines, illuminated by the sunlight filtering through the gaps in the rolling door, gave it a robust, robust feel.

Magna raised her chin slightly and said proudly:

"I found this car from a man who had turned into a zombie when I was searching for supplies in the house next door half a month ago."

"I've checked the car carefully before, it's drivable and has a full tank of gas."

"Not bad." Xu Mo nodded slightly, a look of satisfaction in his eyes. He looked at the off-road vehicle and secretly admired it in his heart.

"Here are the keys to this car." Magna handed the keys in her hand to Xu Mo with a generous and natural movement.

"Yeah." Xu Mo nodded, reached out to take the key, walked to the car with steady steps, opened the door, and sat in the driver's seat.

"Get in the car." Xu Mo turned his head and said to Magna in a gentle and kind voice.

"Okay." Magna nodded, opened the passenger door with light movements, and sat in the passenger seat.
