Inheriting Billions After Amnesia

After being beaten down by the entertainment industry, Ning Qiluo packed her bags overnight: "I'm afraid of cyberbullying, I want to go home and inherit my family's fortune."

What are you doing at the place where I'm filming?

When Ning Qiluo heard Fuzai say that Jiang Zhaoying had come to her film set, she didn't believe it. But then, in the blink of an eye, she saw this flamboyant woman appear before her.

"I'm still your rumored boyfriend, after all. A few days apart feels like ages; shouldn't you be happy to see me?"

The reason Ning Qiluo described him as a "flower butterfly" was because his clothes were indeed very flashy.

He wore camouflage clothing, tapered pants, and dyed his hair a granny gray. This color isn't popular anymore, but he still managed to pull it off because of his good looks.

Those smiling peach blossom eyes are truly beautiful.

"Why should I be happy? We're not even that close."

Ning Qiluo ignored him, grabbed the milk tea that Fuzai had just bought, and prepared to drink it.

In the blink of an eye, Jiang Zhaoying snatched the milk tea away.

He stuck the straw in and started drinking, acting like he belonged there. Ning Qiluo glared at him a few times, but he pretended not to see it and kept grinning, unaware that he was really asking for a beating.

Ning Qiluo didn't actually lay a hand on her, afraid that someone with ulterior motives would see it, take a picture, and then post it online to make a big fuss.

"You have to pay me back if you drink my milk tea," she said.

"Tsk."

江照影极为欠揍的啧了声。

He placed the milk tea in front of her with disdain and said, "You're so stingy. I came to visit you on set in person, and you didn't even offer me any hospitality. I have to pay for your milk tea."

Ning Qiluo's face flushed red upon hearing this.

He was right, but she hadn't asked him to visit the set, and she didn't even know he was there. Yet he suddenly showed up.

"Then you should leave quickly after your visit to the set."

"Why are you leaving?"

Jiang Zhaoying, with her overly familiar demeanor, pulled out seven or eight red bills from her person and handed them to Fuzai: "Go buy some Smile coffee, one for each member of the crew, it's on me. By the way, I doubt you can carry that much by yourself, so get someone to go with you."

Fu-zai's eyes lit up: "Brother Zhao-ying, are you treating everyone to coffee?"

"Hmm?" Jiang Zhaoying's expression seemed to say: Was I not clear enough just now?

Fu-zai didn't act on his own initiative; he first glanced at Luo-luo.

After all, Jiang Zhaoying was paying for everyone's coffee, so Ning Qiluo couldn't very well stop him. She remained silent. Fuzai understood and took the money from Jiang Zhaoying's hand: "Alright, I'll go and arrange the coffee for everyone right away."

Jiang Zhaoying smiled with satisfaction.

Not long after, Fu Zai and two other crew members returned in a flurry, carrying bags printed with the Smile Coffee logo.

The bag contained a takeaway cup of Smile coffee.

Fu Zai came over to inform Jiang Zhaoying, and then took the two crew members to serve coffee to everyone.

Bai Haoyi accepted the coffee, said thank you, and continued working on adjusting the camera. He vaguely heard who had bought him the coffee, so he immediately put down what he was doing and went over to thank them personally.

"Zhaoying, it's been a long time."

Bai Haoyi strode over, and Jiang Zhaoying also stood up and gave Bai Haoyi a big hug.

"Why are you here today? You didn't even tell me beforehand. I only found out it was you who treated me after I had my coffee." Bai Haoyi and Jiang Zhaoying have known each other for a long time.

Jiang Zhaoying simply said, "I just happened to be visiting the set."

A set visit?

Bai Haoyi knew without asking whose set he was visiting.

When the rumors first started circulating, he thought it was just a publicity stunt. But since there's been no attempt to clarify for so long, and everyone in the industry tacitly agrees, it's likely that the two of them aren't just creating hype, but genuinely met and started dating on a variety show.
