Chapter 18 Shen Huai Appears

Yu Shu transferred her grandmother to a VIP ward in Hospital A, where Luo Hao's medical team took care of her daily needs.

Every morning after dropping Tuantuan off, Shen Zhen goes to the hospital to visit her grandmother. Sometimes she quietly writes in the ward, and sometimes she chats with her grandmother.

"Mrs. Gu, you've finally arrived!" The nurse who was taking care of the grandmother pulled Shen Zhen aside as soon as she saw her coming.

Shen Zhen blushed and explained, "Um... Qingqing, I'm not Madam Gu, just call me Shen Zhen."

Shen Zhen accompanied Shen Wan when she gave birth to Tuantuan. Shen Zhen still remembers that after Tuantuan was born, Shen Wan's nominal husband only came to see her once, and left without looking back when he saw that it was a girl.

After learning that Shen Zhen had returned, her brother Shen Huai tricked her into going home and locking her in a room with Shen Wan's nominal husband. Shen Huai not only sold Shen Wan once, but even wanted to sell Shen Zhen again.

Shen Zhen used all her strength to knock the man unconscious and escaped through the window. She ran all the way to the hospital, only to find that Shen Wan, who had just given birth, had already left, leaving behind a baby still in swaddling clothes.

Yu Shu lowered her head and gently wiped away Chen Zhen's tears. "Zhenzhen, it's not your fault. Make peace with yourself. You still have me, Tuantuan, and Grandma."

Shen Zhen grabbed Yu Shu's clothes with both hands, staring intently into her eyes, "Then will you leave me?"

Yu Shu remained silent, staring intently at her.

Shen Zhen's eyes gradually dimmed. She gently released her hand, a self-deprecating smile tugging at the corners of her lips. What was she thinking? You were the one who let go first. How could you forget who you are?

Shen Zhen's brows furrowed with disappointment. She lowered her eyes and said softly, "I'm sorry, I crossed the line..."

Before Shen Zhen could finish speaking, Yu Shu got out of the car, walked around to the driver's side, opened the car door, placed one hand on the door, and pinched Shen Zhen's chin with the other, saying in a deep voice, "Shen Zhen, as long as you don't let go, I will never leave you, understand?"
