Keeper's Survival Handbook. Remember three points: If it wants to kiss me, I will close my eyes and accept. If it wants to touch me, I will lie down and play dead. If it wants to mate with me, ...
Fang Rong rolled up his sleeves, beaming, "Okay."
He was happy today, having learned many strange things, such as: superpowers can be used in this way? And that other people actually think this way about him?
Humans are truly amazing creatures, with countless thoughts running through their minds. He wasn't aloof at all, yet people still thought he was difficult to talk to.
The truth is, I just don't know what to say, especially since there's always an awkward silence whenever he arrives. It's so embarrassing, and it's all thanks to Li Wenyang trying to smooth things over, otherwise I wouldn't even be able to sit down.
Cooking is his specialty, but there's only an iron basin here, not even a pot, so he's at a loss.
"How about we have hot pot?" It seems there's nothing else we can do besides hot pot.
"It's your decision." Li Wenyang had no objections. He walked to the door and pulled out the few furtive heads. "If you want to eat, come over. What are you doing sneaking around?"
The group of guys were a little red-faced. They were all from the same dorm. They happened to be there when he was having a barbecue that day and got a few pieces of meat. They weren't satisfied, so they resorted to stealing vegetables.
"Come over here and help Fang Rong." Li Wenyang was the kind of person who was easy to get along with. Everyone in the dormitory knew him and they got along very well. His words carried weight, and the group of people reluctantly came over to help Fang Rong.
Actually, there wasn't much to do; it was just washing vegetables and chopping firewood. When there wasn't enough firewood, the fire-elemental users took turns burning it underneath.
The pot slowly began to boil, and some spare ribs floated to the surface.
The spare ribs were leftovers from slicing the meat, which were perfect for adding to the soup. A soup without oil is not a good soup.
Fang Rong put the thin slices of meat in and instructed the others not to turn off the fire and to add vegetables slowly so as not to overcook them.
Finally, the seasonings were prepared. The seasonings are the most crucial element; they directly affect the taste of the dish, and whether it's delicious or not depends entirely on them.
Fang Rong carefully selected garlic and scallions, chopped chili peppers and cilantro, and added a little oil, salt and vinegar in turn, finally preparing the sauce.
It smelled delicious, and Li Wenyang couldn't resist picking up a piece of meat, dipping it in the sauce, and putting it in his mouth, exclaiming repeatedly, "Delicious, delicious!"
There was still some soup inside, and he couldn't speak clearly.
However, as soon as he picked up his chopsticks, everyone else started eating too, some adding food, some adding fuel. Fang Rong watched and realized that he was indeed not suited for crowded places; you could tell from where people were sitting.
Most of them were sitting right next to Li Wenyang, leaving a small empty seat next to him. People would rather stand than sit next to him. His character is truly amazing.
Li Wenyang comforted him, saying it was because he thought he was aloof, but being aloof doesn't have to be this aloof, okay?
Fang Rong sighed, left a bowl for Fang Hua, and then put it in her spatial storage to keep it warm for at least one night, in case it got cold.
But obviously, it wasn't necessary. Fang Hua had already woken up, staring at him with wide, dark eyes, only her head peeking out.
Because she was on the lower bunk, the light was blocked by the upper bunk, so Fang Rong didn't notice it immediately.
"I saved a bowl for you." Fang Rong took out the vegetable soup that she had just put into her space, which contained a few pieces of pork ribs.
The ribs were the base, and everyone was too embarrassed to eat them, but he scooped them out and saved them for Fang Hua.
Fang Hua pulled down the blanket, didn't move her hands, and opened her mouth for him to feed her.
"How old are you, still acting like a child?" Fang Rong turned to get new chopsticks, but Fang Hua grabbed her wrist and pulled her back after only two steps.
Fang Rong shook her chopsticks. "I'll go get some new chopsticks."
Fang Hua didn't let go, her mouth still open, waiting for him to pick up the meat.
"Okay." Fang Rong sat on the edge of the bed, casually wiped the chopsticks with a tissue, and picked up a piece of pork rib for him.
Fang Hua reached a new level of laziness; to avoid spitting out bones, he simply chewed them up and swallowed them whole.
"How have you been lately?" I felt like he was acting a little strange.
Fang Hua shook his head.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" What's wrong with you? Are you getting lazier and lazier?
Fang Hua shook his head again, and after a while suddenly spoke, "Are you annoyed by me?"
"No?" Fang Rong was taken aback. "Why would you suddenly ask that?"
"It's nothing." Fang Hua calmed down again and lay on the bed waiting for him to bring her food.
Fang Rong was distracted and fed him slowly, but Fang Hua didn't mind and waited patiently.
What did Fang Hua mean by that just now?
After he gained the ability to read minds, he became less talkative, and now he doesn't say a word at all.
Could it be that he unintentionally wanted Fang Hua to remain silent and act like a perfect male god, and Fang Hua heard his thoughts, so...?
"That's not the reason." Actually, he understood what the fire dragon was saying. Fang Rong and Li Wenyang didn't understand because they weren't dragons. He seemed to be a dragon, and he could instinctively understand those words, which were all being spoken to him.
Do you think you deserve to have females?
"Give him to me, and I can guarantee his safety and well-being."
"Protect him with your life!"
His words angered Fang Hua, which is why he was left alone later.
However, he lost his composure and suffered a great loss, and of course, the dragon also suffered a bad time.
"Fang Rong thinks I'm stupid." Fang Hua finished eating and wrapped herself up again, leaving only her eyes showing.
"No," Fang Rong denied.
Sometimes I really think he's clumsy, but when he suddenly stops being clumsy, I kind of miss the old him who always made silly mistakes.
"Fang Rong is so contradictory." Fang Hua shifted, causing the blanket to billow in an arc.
"No," Fang Rong denied again.
Fang Hua didn't say much, and lifted the blanket to let him in.
It's a bit chilly outside; the heat from the hot pot has dissipated, leaving only the cold.
After everyone finished eating and tidied up, they climbed into bed and chatted lazily.
