Keeper's Survival Handbook. Remember three points: If it wants to kiss me, I will close my eyes and accept. If it wants to touch me, I will lie down and play dead. If it wants to mate with me, ...
Because he was already downstairs when Li Wenyang made the call, he only had time to wash his face and brush his teeth; he didn't even have time to eat.
If I had eaten during the day, my stomach probably wouldn't hurt so much.
Li Wenyang picked up a piece of pastry; it was still warm, as if it had just been made. He blew off the ash and put it in his mouth.
The taste was not bad, smooth but not greasy, but it was sweet. He didn't actually like desserts, but he had no choice in this situation, so Li Wenyang picked up another piece.
Just like before, he blew off the dirt and stuffed it into his mouth. The pastries were very dry, and there was no water around. Li Wenyang choked and started coughing incessantly. The more he coughed, the worse it got, as if he was going to cough up his lungs.
puff!
A metallic taste filled his mouth. Li Wenyang covered his mouth, and more blood gushed from his palm, flowing out between his fingers.
He wiped his hands with his sleeve and continued picking up pastries with trembling hands.
Xu Hongrui pressed his hand down, "Stop eating."
Li Wenyang behaved himself for a while, but as soon as he took his hand away, he started picking up the pastries again.
"I told you not to eat!" Xu Hongrui pressed down hard on his wrist, making him unable to move.
The witch's rain ended quickly. Xu Hongrui picked him up and threw him on the bed, then left without paying him any attention.
Fortunately, Li Wenyang was lucky. He stumbled and ran to the toilet to clean himself up. He learned his lesson and never dared to leave any fluid in his body again.
If I get another high fever, I might just die because no one cares for me or loves me.
He was relaxed; after washing up, he lay down on the bed and immediately fell asleep, even ordering himself takeout.
Stir-fried noodles and soup: stir-fried noodles are filling, while soup is good for the stomach.
Afraid of missing the call, he turned the volume on his personal computer to the maximum. He had just fallen asleep when the phone rang, waking him up. He lay in bed, completely bewildered and confused.
The lights were on in the room. When Li Wenyang got up to get dressed, he ran into Xu Hongrui, who was holding a bowl of chicken soup. "Drink this before you leave."
"No need," Li Wenyang smiled. "I'll order takeout."
"I told you to finish your drink before you leave!"
Li Wenyang's smile froze. "What about takeout?"
"Throw it away and feed it to the dogs."
"Alright," Li Wenyang sighed, "You're the sugar daddy, so you call the shots."
Xu Hongrui sat on the edge of the bed and brought him the chicken soup.
Li Wenyang took it, but stopped abruptly just as he was about to drink it. "What's in this?"
"Ginseng and bird's nest".
"Then I won't eat it. This stuff is expensive, I can't afford it." Li Wenyang said with a grin.
"I told you to eat, so eat. That's an order." Xu Hongrui turned on the TV, his eyes inadvertently glancing at him.
Li Wenyang still wouldn't eat. "I'll just order takeout. I've already ordered it, it would be a shame not to eat it."
Xu Hongrui suddenly turned on his personal terminal and called the delivery person, telling them bluntly that he didn't want the food anymore and they could throw it away if they wanted.
Li Wenyang held the chicken soup in both hands and tried to speak loudly, "I want it."
However, his voice was still too soft compared to Xu Hongrui's, and Xu Hongrui hung up the phone in time, not giving him a chance to explain.
His stomach was still aching, he had difficulty breathing, speaking was even more difficult, and eating felt like swallowing razor blades; he had to rest after a few bites.
Xu Hongrui frowned. "How did you become like this?"
So weak, like an empty shell, so fragile.
Li Wenyang leaned against the bed to rest. The soup was still a bit hot, and he had to pant three times after taking a sip. "Anyway, you can pay off the debt with your ass. You don't need to worry about the rest."
Xu Hongrui grabbed his collar, opened his mouth as if to call his name, but didn't know what to call him.
"A name is just a code."
"Gender is irrelevant."
"I don't care, call me whatever you want."
He ultimately couldn't bring himself to do it, and left after saying just one sentence.
"Eat your food properly, and I'll have a doctor check you up tomorrow."
Li Wenyang was taken aback. Was this someone who cared about him?
