"Then what should we do? If that's the case, isn't Patika likely to suffer the consequences?" Valerie asked directly.

"What do you mean, 'what to do'? It's just a bitter fruit, not a poisonous one that kills instantly." Xiao He didn't even know when he had grasped this philosophy.

"Why not a poisonous fruit?" Valerie liked to get to the bottom of things.
