Yan Xuehen said calmly, "So you were lying to me just now, and you didn't see those people?"

“Of course,” the group laughed mockingly, “I never thought there would be such a naive girl in the world who would trust people so easily. Is she still a virgin?”

Seeing her aloof and elegant demeanor, the group became increasingly convinced of this, and began arguing about who should take the lead, soon arguing until their faces were flushed.

Hearing their foul language, Yan Xuehen's face remained as cold as ice.

"Hey, why is it snowing?" One of them suddenly noticed something was wrong and reached out to touch the falling snowflakes. As soon as he touched them, a layer of white frost formed on his hand, which quickly spread at a visible speed until he was completely turned into an ice sculpture.

The others' expressions changed drastically upon seeing this. Just as they were about to run, they were quickly covered by ice and snow and lost their breath.

Yan Xuehen didn't even glance at them again before drifting away.

Not long after, she returned to the restaurant. There were no customers left, only the owner and waiters were cleaning up the tables.

When they saw her return, they were both amazed and surprised.

"Thank you so much for your help earlier." Yan Xuehen thanked the shop owner, who had quietly reminded her to be careful.

The shopkeeper chuckled kindly, "You're too kind. It's what we should do. However, we still need to do business here, and we're afraid of retaliation, so we didn't dare to be too obvious in reminding you. Luckily, you're clever."

Yan Xuehen nodded slightly and took the opportunity to ask him where the government office was. Although she had not been here for long, she had traveled to some places in order to find Zu An and the others, but she had never seen any trace of the government office.

She figured that if she wanted to find someone, it might be more convenient to do so through official channels.
