Regardless of the reason, Zu'an had no time to ponder it, because the gluttonous monster had already arrived before him with its heavy footsteps.

Looking at the ferocious monster in front of him, Zuan couldn't help but swallow hard, feeling a chill run down his spine.

From the moment he first saw this guy, he noticed its long and sharp tail, so when he saw it raise its tail like a scorpion, he knew it was about to attack.

Enraged, the Taotie shook its tail, lifted itself up, and then plunged it back down hard.

Zuan hurriedly tilted his head and dodged in another direction. After the Taotie's stab missed, it raised its tail and stabbed down again. Zuan dodged again... The two were playing a game of attack and evasion in a very small space.
