"It's nothing, just some nourishing medicine." Shang Hongyu's tone was somewhat flustered. If it were really just the Dragon King, she wouldn't be so flustered, but the man inside was the one her sister often talked about.

She, as the older sister, stole the man her younger sister liked before she could. No matter how you look at it, she's a bad older sister.

"A tonic?" Shang Liuyu's eyes became more scrutinizing. "But just a moment ago, I saw a cloud of red mist emerge."

Shang Hongyu: "..."

"That's the medicinal vapor evaporating."

“That’s right. I checked their bodies while I was fighting them. Their hearts have been taken over by the Heart-Eating Spiders. I’ve dealt with those monsters before, so I could tell right away,” Zuan said in a deep voice.

“It seems they are dead. I was wondering how so many imposters could impersonate our sea people.” A trace of worry flashed across Shang Hongyu’s face. “I wonder if Kachir was also controlled by the Heart-Eating Spider.”

Zuan shook his head slightly: "Based on what I've seen these past few days, it doesn't seem like it."

That Kachir gave him an air of mystery that he couldn't quite understand, and the Heart-Eating Spider could only control so much, it was impossible for it to control such a powerful being and still act without any abnormality.
