A lightning strike transmigrated Zu An into another world. In that world, he was known as the tr*sh of Brightmoon City, but for some reason, he was married to the gorgeous and highly talented daugh...
“We can chat now too,” Zuan said with a smile.
Bai Fei: "..."
Her gaze fell on the other person's hand. "You're making me flustered by your touch. How am I supposed to have a conversation?"
Zuan said, "You people from the Demonic Sect really know how to lie. You just said that whatever the Crown Princess could give me, you could give me too, but you've already gone back on your word so quickly."
Consort Bai looked annoyed: "Did the Crown Princess allow you to touch me like this?"
Zuan said, "At least that's how it was when we weren't wearing clothes. Your Majesty, you witnessed it firsthand."
Bai Fei finally couldn't take it anymore. She struggled to get up from the swing and stood far away from him: "I'm scared of you. If my senior sister knew you treated me like this, she would definitely slap you to death."
"Senior sister?" Zu An asked, somewhat puzzled.
Consort Bai snorted: "There's no need to hide it from you now. The sect leader is my senior sister, but I was sent to the palace a long time ago."
Zuan was somewhat surprised: "How exactly did you manage to deceive the Emperor? How could he be so careless as to let a high-ranking member of the Demonic Cult infiltrate his inner circle?"
Bai Fei said with some pride, "Senior Sister is the most capable and intelligent person in the world. Besides, the emperor is a human, not a god. How could he be omniscient and omnipotent?"
Zuan nodded in deep agreement. If he were truly omniscient and omnipotent, he would have known long ago that his queen had taken my form.
He didn't dwell on that, but instead asked, "By the way, is the Priest also a member of your Demonic Sect? Or does he have some close connection with your Demonic Sect?"
He had secretly helped the chief priest when he asked the question of his heart, and this matter had always been an unsolved mystery in his heart. He couldn't feel at ease until he understood it.
"Didn't you just say you had one last question?" Bai Fei snorted. "A man who breaks his word."
"It's all because you went back on your word, I learned it from you." Zuan's gaze fell on her slender waist.
Bai Fei blushed, knowing he was referring to her earlier attempt to seduce him but failing halfway: "Alright, I might as well tell you. The Chief Priest has no connection with our Holy Sect. If he were a member of the Holy Sect, the Sect Leader and he could easily bring down the Emperor. Why go through all this trouble?"
Zuan was taken aback: "The Priest is that powerful?"
Consort Bai nodded: "The Grand Master of Ceremonies is known for his mystery and his indifference to politics, but no one dares to ignore his existence. The three most recognized experts in the capital are the Emperor, Prince Qi, and the Grand Master of Ceremonies."
"Everyone thinks that Prince Qi is only slightly weaker than the Emperor and is the second best. But based on my observations over the years, that Grand Master might actually be the second best. After all, the disciples he casually taught have all become Grandmasters, and there are many of them at the eighth or ninth rank."
Zu An's eyes widened. Even his disciples were Grandmasters. What did that mean? "How many disciples does he have?"
Bai Fei rolled her eyes at him, clearly surprised that he didn't even know such a basic thing: "All the students in the National Academy can actually be considered his disciples and grand-disciples, but most people only recognize 12 of them as his direct disciples."
Zuan seemed to be deep in thought. It seemed that he would have to visit the National Academy soon to resolve his doubts.
"By the way, was it one of your people who silenced me in the prison last time?" he blurted out abruptly.
Bai Fei was stunned: "How could our people do such a thing? If I were to try to silence you, not only would Hong Lei not be spared, but even the sect leader would probably not let me go."
Zuan smiled slightly: "That would be best. I hope we can help each other in the palace in the future."
Consort Bai snorted: "I just hope you'll come to the Hundred Flowers Palace less often in the future."
She couldn't stand it if this guy made advances on her every time he came.
Zu An laughed and said, "Then I'll stay by the Crown Princess's side more often from now on."
Consort Bai's expression changed slightly. She knew that although she and the Crown Princess appeared to be on good terms, everyone knew that it was a matter of life and death between them. If Zu An really sided with the Crown Princess, then she would be in trouble. After all, based on their interactions over the past period, she had found that this guy's abilities and luck to be top-notch.
"How can you do this to the leader and to Hong Lei? One of them has high hopes for you, and the other is deeply in love with you."
Zuan sighed: "Who told you demonic cult's vixens to be so deceitful? I seriously suspect I've been manipulated by you guys."
“PUA?” Bai Fei was taken aback, clearly not understanding what the term meant.
"You used some false temptations to control me, but you didn't actually contribute anything from beginning to end. Instead, you were just taking advantage of me for free," Zuan said in a deep voice. "Your behavior was the most obvious example of this."
"But Hong Lei's feelings for you are real, you can always feel it, right?" Bai Fei bit her lip lightly; this guy was really too difficult to deal with.
Zu An said calmly, "That's not necessarily true. After all, she didn't really give me anything. Who knows if your cultivation technique has any rules against breaking the body? Maybe the master and disciple teamed up to deceive me."
He could certainly sense Qiu Honglei's sincerity, but he certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to say that to Bai Fei.
“Of course, cultivating the Heavenly Demon Enchantment Sound cannot break one’s virginity, so I…” She immediately realized her mistake halfway through her sentence, snorted, and almost fell for this guy’s trick. She quickly changed the subject, “Fine, as long as you’re not afraid of your Crown Princess getting jealous, you can come to the Hundred Flowers Palace often. You’re always welcome here.”
"Thank you, Your Majesty. I will take my leave now." Zu An had achieved his goal. Neither completely siding with the Demonic Sect nor completely siding with the Crown Princess would be a wise choice for him. Only by doing things this way could he maximize his interests.
Consort Bai bit her lip, thinking to herself, "Which minister would dare to hug and grope me like this?" However, seeing the palace maids coming over, she didn't say anything and casually dismissed the surrounding flower wall: "Farewell, Lord Zu."
