Alien Yeshi starved to death, yet miraculously came back to life. She arrived in a strange place where the creatures weren't very hairy, liked to wear a layer of "skin" on their bodies,...
When Wei and his colleague arrived at the hospital, they immediately dismissed their two colleagues who were on the night shift.
The two exchanged a glance and walked into the ward with grim faces.
"Slap! Slap! Slap!" Officer Wei stepped forward and slapped the kidnapper's face hard.
"Wake up! Wake up! Don't sleep!"
"Hiss, what's wrong?" The kidnapper grinned and raised his hand, touching his burning face. He couldn't understand what these two policemen were up to in the middle of the night.
"What's wrong? Do you know you've committed a serious crime?" Officer Fan said with a stern face.
"I'm just kidnapping someone, and it hasn't even happened yet. What's the big deal? Who are you trying to fool?" The kidnapper rolled his eyes and said calmly.
The kidnapper had been doing this for a while and knew that as long as he claimed to be a novice, they wouldn't be able to find any evidence, and he wouldn't be detained for very long.
"Heh, do you think it's okay just because you didn't succeed? Let me tell you, you're wrong!" Wei Gong'an sneered and pulled a feather out of his pocket.
The kidnapper glanced at Wei Gong'an, who was holding the feather, and thought the two of them were idiots. Did they think that if they stood in front of him and threatened him, he would confess? Dream on!
"Hahaha... Help me, hahahaha, it hurts so much..." The cripple tried to pull his foot back, but it was handcuffed.
The man with the crutch has a broken rib on his left side and his arm is in a splint. Now, when he smiles, half of his body hurts.
After enduring the "torture" for half an hour, the kidnapper could no longer bear it and decided to confess.
"I'll confess! Hahaha..."
Police Officer Wei and Police Officer Fan exchanged a glance. They hadn't expected that the kidnapper would confess when they had only come to "get revenge" for Mei Si!
They notified their colleagues to bring their tools to take statements, and then organized an arrest operation overnight.
In the early hours of the morning, they raided the human trafficking den, rescued 127 trafficked women and children, and arrested 39 people!
The next morning, Mei Si and Wang Celou got ready and went downstairs. Looking at the rows of police officers below, Wang Celou raised an eyebrow, thinking they were making a mountain out of a molehill.
"Comrade Mei Si, thank you so much for helping us! On behalf of the women and children we rescued, I thank you!" Director Chen quickly stepped forward and shook Mei Si's hand as she came down.
Mei Si opened her mouth, somewhat bewildered. She turned to look at Wang Ce Lou, not understanding what had happened.
Wang Ce Lou looked up at the line behind Director Chen and noticed that Wei and Fan, who were standing at the front, were making faces at each other.
Wang Celou felt that this matter must be related to the two of them. He pressed his palm down, signaling Mei Si to calm down.
After Director Chen left, Officer Wei and his colleague came over and drove Mei Si and the others home, giving them a brief explanation along the way.
"Phew, luckily you understood our signal and didn't give anything away." Officer Wei glanced back at Mei Si in the back seat and breathed a sigh of relief.
"What exactly happened?" Wang Celou patted Mei Si's hand, signaling her not to speak.
"Ah, cough! It's nothing. We just told the bureau chief that Mei Si told us that the kidnapper was an experienced criminal with accomplices," Officer Fan said casually, without mentioning anything specific about what they had done.
"I didn't..." Mei Si opened her mouth to refute, she had never said that.
"Oh~!" Wang Celou pressed down on Mei Si's hand, glanced at her, and gestured for her to be quiet.
Mei Si pouted and simply turned to look out the window. She really disliked this human custom of not allowing people to speak their minds.
The night before, when Mei's father was riding his bike to pick up Mei and Si, he ran into Police Officer Chen at the door of their house.
"Luckily... phew... I made it!" Xiao Chen said, wiping the sweat from his forehead and panting heavily.
"Comrade Chen, what's wrong? If you're not in a hurry, wait for me to come back. I have to go pick up my daughter." Mei's father glanced at his watch, got on his bike, and was about to leave.
"No! Comrade Mei, you...you don't need to go, they're not coming back!" Xiao Chen quickly grabbed Mei's father's arm and said.
"What? Say that again?" Upon hearing this, Mei's father immediately flew into a rage. What did he mean by "can't come back"? Had something happened?
"Uh, ptooey! I misspoke. It's that they can't come back today, but someone will bring them back tomorrow!" Xiao Chen was taken aback by Mei's father's shout and realized he had said the wrong thing, so he quickly admitted his mistake.
"What do you mean by that?" Mei's father looked at Xiao Chen, patiently waiting for him to explain.
"Here's what happened. Comrade Mei Si and her friend encountered a kidnapper on the train. Comrade Mei Si is brave and resourceful. She noticed something was wrong with the man, and she..." Xiao Chen began to recount the events with great enthusiasm, but he slightly embellished what he heard on the phone.
"Oh! That was close! Well done!" Seeing how enthusiastically Xiao Chen was talking, Mei's father gave him appropriate "encouragement" when he paused, but he had some doubts in his heart.
Mei's father: Is he talking about my daughter? Why does it sound like someone else? Hmm! More like that kid Gousheng, he's so smart, it must be Gousheng.
After listening for a while, Mei's father understood what was going on and lost patience with Xiao Chen's rambling.
"Okay, I got it. Just remember to bring my daughter and the other girl back tomorrow. You can go back now." Dad Mei patted Xiao Chen on the shoulder, turned around and pushed the cart back into the yard.
"Hey? I'm still..." Comrade Chen reached out to call out to Mei's father, but the answer he received was the sound of the courtyard gate slamming shut.
"This...this is too reassuring! Is he really my father? Or did my amazing story fool him and put his mind at ease?" Xiao Chen turned and walked back into the station. "I didn't know I had this ability!"
"Why are you back so soon? Hey? Where are our daughter and Ce Lou? Where's the luggage?" Hearing the voice, Mei's mother hurried out to greet them, but found that Mei's father was the only one in the yard.
