Ji Wan waved to the waiter and ordered an iced American coffee and a pitcher of ice water.

"Ms. Ning," Ji Wan said, taking a sip of coffee, "I want to apologize for my attitude in the hospital yesterday. I was feeling unwell and a little emotional."

Ning Weiwei was obviously relieved. "It's okay, I understand. Anyone would feel uncomfortable in that situation."

"You're so considerate." Ji Wan smiled, "But I'm curious, how did you know about my accident so quickly?"

Ning Weiwei's face changed slightly, but she quickly returned to normal. "Brother Lin told me that he was very worried about you, so I thought of making some soup to nourish you."

Behind the cafe was an abandoned small warehouse. According to the prior arrangement, the bodyguards took Ning Weiwei there and pressed her on a chair.

"Ji Wan, what exactly do you want to do?" Ning Weiwei asked in horror, her eyes filled with fear.

Ji Wan walked up to her, the gentle smile on his face had long disappeared, replaced by a biting chill.

"Ning Weiwei, I want to know if you ordered that female doctor to attack me?"

The voice that came out of her throat was as cold as ice.

"What are you talking about? I don't know anything about female doctors." Ning Weiwei denied vehemently.

Ji Wan sneered, picked up the ice water bottle on the table, and poured all the ice water on Ning Weiwei's head without hesitation.

"Ah." Ning Weiwei screamed. The ice water soaked her clothes and hair, and her made-up face was a mess.

"I'll ask you again, was it you who ordered the doctor to attack me?" Ji Wan's voice became even colder and harder.
