Chapter 576: Cultivating Small Prajna

Chapter 576: Cultivating Small Prajna

His neck was becoming more and more itchy. Zhou Wen knew that he couldn't delay any longer and had to find a way to solve this problem.

"Maybe Lord Di knows what this thing is." Zhou Wen wanted to leave the Zhuolu battlefield and return to the base where there was a signal to contact Lord Di and see if he could get some useful information about the snail from her.

But after walking a few steps, Zhou Wen felt that the itchiness on his neck was unbearable and he wished he could cut his neck off.

What was even more bizarre was that Zhou Wen felt his body become very heavy, as if an invisible boulder was pressing on him, making every step he took seem extremely difficult. He left deep footprints on the bone sand, and his calves sank into it.

Zhou Wen knew that this was definitely not an illusion. There was really something pressing on him. He could clearly feel the pressure, but he had nothing on him.

thump!

Zhou Wen's body was pressed into the bone sand. He tried to stand up, but he couldn't move.

Not only could I not move, but the itchiness on my neck was getting worse and worse, and I couldn't even scratch it.

"We must leave here quickly." Zhou Wen asked Liuyi and Zhulong to pull his body, wanting them to carry him back.

However, despite the enormous strength of Liuyi and Zhulong, they were unable to pull him, or perhaps they did not dare to use too much force for fear of breaking his body.

"I'm really not suitable for entering the dimensional realm in reality. Something goes wrong every time." Zhou Wen now regrets that he shouldn't have dug everywhere.

Maybe it was because he had just obtained such a powerful companion pet as Zhulong, and he was a little bit arrogant, thinking that with Zhulong, he could handle any emergency. However, he didn't expect that he had no chance to use Zhulong at all.

Zhou Wen could only endure the itch and let Zhulong crawl under the bone sand, trying to prop up his body.

But when Zhulong tried hard to support Zhou Wen's body, he almost squeezed Zhou Wen's body flat and still couldn't lift Zhou Wen's body even one centimeter higher.

The result was that Zhou Wen was pressed on Zhulong's back. When Zhulong's body retreated, Zhou Wen immediately fell into the sand pit and could not move at all.

Zhou Wen tried every possible method, but it was useless. He was pinned down here and couldn't move at all.

The pressure on his body was secondary. The itch on his neck was unbearable for Zhou Wen, and it almost reached the depths of his soul.

All the powers were useless, Zhou Wen could only switch to the small Prajna and activate the eight-degree Prajna destiny.

It’s not that the power of the Small Prajna can relieve his stress, nor that the Eight Degrees Prajna can relieve the itch, but this Small Prajna has one advantage, which is endurance.

Taoism cultivates this life, while Buddhism cultivates the next life, and what they pursue is great liberation in the next life.

Although the Small Prajna is a Qi Jue for cultivating the physical body, it is different from the Qi Jue of the Xiantian Invincible Divine Art that directly strengthens the body. The Small Prajna focuses more on the management of the body by the spirit.

The various wisdoms of the Six Prajnas are all designed to enable people to pursue spiritual enlightenment without being limited by their own physical bodies.

Zhou Wen was practicing the Minor Prajna at this time, not to relieve the pain in his body, but to stop focusing on his own pain in order to reduce the itchy feeling.

Although this method only treats the symptoms and not the root cause, Zhou Wen really has no better solution now. If he doesn't stop the itching, he is afraid that he will be driven crazy by the itching.

"Next time, I can't touch things randomly without Di Ting by my side, no matter what." Zhou Wen thought to himself.

After the small Prajna was put into operation, the eight degrees of Prajna made his six senses sharper, which in turn made the itchy feeling go deeper into his bones.

Zhou Wen knew that this was only temporary. He had read a lot of Buddhist scriptures and knew that this was just an inevitable process. He needed to feel the pain first before he could achieve enlightenment and thus achieve liberation of the physical body.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva once said that he would not become a Buddha until hell is empty. This is a kind of great enlightenment and liberation.

Zhou Wen endured the fatal itch and continued to endure the invasion of the itch, constantly practicing the Small Prajna, hoping to achieve spiritual liberation, and at the same time absolutely control his body so that his body would no longer be limited and affected by the six senses.

If an ordinary person were to feel so itchy, he would not be able to calm down and think about the meaning of the scriptures, nor would he be able to concentrate on practicing the Yuan Qi Jue.

Zhou Wen was obviously not among them. His talent for concentration allowed him to think and comprehend without being affected even in such a situation.

The scriptures he had read before were not in vain. Zhou Wen was on the right path. With the practice and comprehension of the Small Prajna Sutra, Zhou Wen's six senses became more acute. The itchy feeling on his neck still existed, but the impact on Zhou Wen's spirit was much less, making him feel less uncomfortable.

"This method is indeed feasible!" Zhou Wen continued to study from this aspect, hoping to break through the bottleneck of small Prajna in one fell swoop and condense the soul of life.

Different from the general Qi Jue that strengthens the body, the Small Prajna Sutra cannot eliminate the pain in the body, but uses one's own wisdom to understand the pain in the body.

Of course, being able to understand does not mean that the problem can be solved, but the separation of body and spirit made Zhou Wen less painful.

The pressure on his body was still there, and the itching was getting worse and worse, but Zhou Wenming could clearly feel these two kinds of pain, but he seemed to feel that his body was not his own, and the pain was not so unbearable.

This feeling is very strange. It is clearly my own body, but it feels like it is not my own, and my mind seems to be standing from the perspective of an outsider.

"If I keep practicing like this, I will really become a Buddha, right?" Zhou Wen could feel that his body was actually emitting a bright and precious light.

However, the source of this precious light is not the physical body, but a deeper level.

Zhou Wen didn't want to become a Buddha without desires, but in this situation, he could only continue practicing, otherwise the itchy feeling alone would drive him crazy.

In such an environment, Zhou Wen quickly achieved the separation and unification of spirit and body. It sounds contradictory, but this is indeed Zhou Wen's current state.

That is, he can absolutely control his body, and his mind is not constrained by the body. The pain and itchy feeling of being oppressed are nothing to Zhou Wen now.

But even if Zhou Wen no longer cared, it would not affect his spirit. The pressure on his body still existed. His body had been pressed into the bone sand and was about to be flattened.

Once the body dies, no matter how powerful his spirit is, it will be useless. Will he wait for the Buddha to lead him to the Pure Land of Bliss to cultivate his next life? Zhou Wen obviously did not have such an awareness.
