Xu Jinwei sat down and opened the food box.

There were four dishes, several steamed buns and dumplings inside.

"I think you'd better apologize to my mother as soon as possible; this dragging on isn't a solution."

Bai Qianmo picked up her chopsticks and began to eat without any hesitation.

"She's your mother, not mine. Do you think I'll really be released just because I bow my head and admit my mistake?"

"You think too badly of my mother. Wasn't it you who talked back to her to her face? Not even I would dare to be so arrogant and domineering in front of her, let alone you. Xu Jin'en, I really didn't realize that your previous gentle and weak demeanor was all an act, was it?"

Xu Jinwei sat for a while and then got up and left. Bai Qianmo asked Xiao Huan to see her out.

She rested her chin on her hand, staring blankly at the doorway.

Xu Changchong is actually coming back. Is all of this fate's arrangement?

Why was she brought to this time and space?

Could it be that I came here just to run into Xu Changchong?
