Love Across Time and Space

A girl named Lu Yin enters a system out of despair. A boy named Lan Yi is too different two years before and two years after; they broke up a long time ago. Lu Yin can only return to real life when...

Conquest Guide's Favorability

Conquest Guide's Favorability

"I need to adjust my mindset now," Lu Yin said.

When the system notification sounded again, Lu Yin was standing in the center of the data garden, watching Lan Yi's Tree of Life wither at a visible rate. She remembered the words Lan Yi had written on a napkin with trembling hands in the coffee shop last week: "Don't choose me, choose yourself." And now, the system had given her an even crueler choice—increase favorability in exchange for life points, or let Lan Yi completely disappear in the torrent of data.

A red warning box suddenly popped up on the system interface:

"User Lan Yi's life energy has been detected to be below 5%"

Please select from the following options:

A. Consume 50% of your favorability to gain 3 days of Lan Yi's health.

B. Consume 80% of your favorability to gain 7 days of Lan Yi's health.

C. Abandon the strategy and let Lan Yi perish naturally.

Lu Yin's finger hovered above the options when he suddenly saw Lan Yi's virtual image appear in the data stream. He was wearing a hospital gown, and his fingers trembled slightly as he gestured in sign language: "Choose C."

"Why?" Lu Yin's tears fell onto the screen. She remembered last week at the hospice, when Lan Yi lay on the hospital bed and used his last strength to say to her, "My change is not because I don't love you anymore, but because I'm afraid you'll see me die."

The system suddenly popped up a hidden protocol:

"The final command from user Lan Yi has been detected:"

When Lu Yin chose to abandon the strategy

Launching the "Life Sharing Initiative"

The data space split open, and Lu Yin saw two parallel task interfaces:

On the left is the familiar "emotional repair task," with the favorability bar showing 72%.

On the right is Lan Yi's "Life Support Mission," with the progress bar showing only 3% remaining.

"So, the favorability rating is your life value." Lu Yin suddenly realized that the "favorability rating +5%" that the system prompted each time she completed the "reconciliation" task was actually Lan Yi using his own life energy to maintain her emotional needs.

The system suddenly emitted a soft light, and the data garden reassembled into a transparent "consciousness space":

On the left is Lu Yin's "Emotion Tree," which bears memory fruits.

On the right is Lan Yi's "Tree of Life," its leaves withering.

There is a "symbiotic bridge" in the middle composed of data streams.

Lu Yin walked onto the Symbiotic Bridge and saw Lan Yi's complete image standing on the other side. He was wearing the white shirt they wore when they first met, and said with a smile, "You've finally come."

"Why did you choose C?" Lu Yin asked, her finger gently touching his image.

Lan Yi's image suddenly became real, and he grasped Lu Yin's hand: "Because love is not a choice, it's instinct."

The system notification sounded again:

"A new emotional pattern has been detected:"

"Symbiotic Strategy"

Features:

Shared emotional energy between the two parties

Fusion of memory and consciousness

"System rules can be modified independently"

"This is still acceptable," Lu Yin thought.

When Lu Yin woke up from the system again, she found an encrypted folder on her phone. Inside was a "strategy guide" left for her by Lan Yi:

Go to Room 307, Building B, Anning Care Center every Wednesday at 3 PM.

Bring along the braised pork you made (the recipe I taught you).

And me, lying in the hospital bed, continuing our strategy.

The system suddenly issued a final notification:

"User Lan Yi's life energy has been detected to be stable."

Favorability ratings cycle endlessly.

The system's core code "Eternal Symbiosis" has been activated:

Love is not the end, but the beginning.

She knew that their story had only just begun.
