As night fell, the Song family's old house was brightly lit and filled with laughter. Song's mother specially prepared a sumptuous dinner to celebrate Song Zhe's recovery.

The family sat around the table, everyone's face was filled with joy. Song Zhe's recovery filled the whole family with vitality. Even Song Qingqing, who usually had some complaints about Chen Xiaoru, smiled at this moment.

After dinner, Song Zhe impatiently pulled Chen Xiaoru back to the room.

"Xiaoru, sit for a while. I'll get you some hot water for a bath." Song Zhe said, with a hint of eagerness that was hard to conceal in his voice. He looked at Chen Xiaoru with burning eyes, and a sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Chen Xiaoru looked at his anxious look and couldn't help but burst out laughing. She gently hit Song Zhe's chest and scolded him:

"Husband, why are you in such a hurry? If someone doesn't know you, they'd think you were going to do something bad!"

Song Zhe put his arm around Chen Xiaoru's waist, pressed her tightly against him, and said with a wicked smile:

"My lady, what do you think? Don't you know what bad things your husband wants to do?"

Chen Xiaoru was a little breathless in his embrace, and her cheeks flushed. She said coquettishly:

"Husband, you...you let me go first, I...I can't breathe."

Seeing this, Song Zhe finally let go of her hand, but he still looked at her eagerly and said:

"Hey, is that so? Are you teasing me on purpose?"

After saying that, he scratched his head, turned around and walked out of the room with a silly smile, not forgetting to turn back and add, "My wife, you have to wait for me to come back!"

Chen Xiaoru rolled her eyes at him, waved her slender hand impatiently, and said angrily:

"Go, go! You fool." She had a smile on her lips, but her eyes were full of tenderness.

As soon as Song Zhe left the room, Chen Xiaoru lay lazily on the bed with her hands crossed behind her head.

Her eyes were wandering, her thoughts were far away. Suddenly, Li Cuihua's disgusting face appeared in her mind. Chen Xiaoru sat up suddenly and slapped her forehead in frustration.

"Oh, I was so busy being affectionate with Song Zhe that I almost forgot to deal with Li Cuihua!"

She whispered to herself, her brow furrowed.

Chen Xiaoru called out in her mind: "System, system!"

"Yes, yes, what happened?" The system's voice sounded in her mind.

Chen Xiaoru raised a sly smile:

"Help me find out if Li Cuihua cheated on me during the time the original owner's father died. Why would she suddenly want to sell Xiaoyu and me out? There must be some hidden agenda."

"Host, wait a moment, let me take a look," the system responded.

Chen Xiaoru asked curiously, "How is it? Did you find anything?"

"Host, you are truly as foresighted as a god!"

The system's voice echoed in Chen Xiaoru's mind with a hint of surprise, as if it had discovered some incredible secret. "I just found out that Li Cuihua is indeed having an affair with a man named Wang Mazi from the village! Ever since your father passed away, these two have been blatantly and unscrupulously hooking up with each other."

Every night, Wang Mazi would sneak into Li Cuihua's room and make love with her, having a blast!

The system paused, its tone tinged with disdain. "Furthermore, I've discovered that Li Cuihua actually gave birth to a son for Wang Mazi! That's your so-called brother, and he's not even your father's!"

"Oh my god, this Li Cuihua is so bold!" Chen Xiaoru slapped her thigh, her eyes wide open, her face full of disbelief. "She dared to cheat on me while the original owner's father was still alive, and even gave birth to a bastard! She's really good!"

"System, are there any things like nightmare talismans in the mall?" Chen Xiaoru rolled her eyes, rubbed her hands together, and said to the system mysteriously, with excitement in her voice.

"Yes, 10 points per card. The host can set nightmares for others. But what do you want to do?"

The system's curious voice sounded in her mind, with a hint of doubt.

"Come on, give me five!"

Chen Xiaoru curled up the corners of her mouth, revealing a cunning smile, like a little fox who had successfully stolen some meat.

"Wait until Li Cuihua and Wang Mazi fall asleep, and then help me use it on them. Have the original owner's father appear in their dreams and fiercely question her, asking why she cheated on him and gave birth to a bastard! Then have the original owner's father chase them down with a kitchen knife and ruthlessly chop them!"

Chen Xiaoru became more and more excited as she spoke, waving her fists, as if she had already seen the terrified looks of Li Cuihua and Wang Mazi in their nightmare.

"Host, no problem, leave it to me!" the system answered decisively.

Song Zhe pushed the door open with hot water in a wooden bucket and saw Chen Xiaoru sitting alone on the edge of the bed with a smile on her lips. No one knew what interesting things she was thinking about.

He poured hot water into the bathtub, put it down, walked quietly behind Chen Xiaoru, gently put his arms around her waist, rested his chin lightly on her shoulder, and his nose was filled with the faint fragrance of her body.

"My dear, what wonderful thing have you thought of that makes you smile so happily?" He whispered in her ear, his voice low and magnetic.

Chen Xiaoru was startled by his sudden action and shuddered slightly. She felt his warm breath spraying behind her ear and her cheeks flushed. She turned her head with a calm expression and glared at him angrily:

"It's you who's behind it. It's so funny even now when I think about it."

Song Zhe's handsome face flushed slightly when she said that. He scratched his head and smiled a little embarrassedly, but his eyes still looked at her gently:
