Zhou Yuxuan held Chen Xiaoru's hand and walked all the way to the classroom she mentioned. Before entering, he heard Li Qiang and Zhang Xiaoyun arguing fiercely from inside.

"Li Qiang, how could you push Xiaoru out?" Zhang Xiaoyun said with obvious anger and blame.

"If I hadn't pushed her out, would we still be alive now?"

Li Qiang sneered, his voice full of disdain and self-righteousness, "Do you think those zombies are vegetarians? In that situation, if we hadn't pushed her out to block it, we would all have died!"

"But even so, you can't push people out!"

Zhang Xiaoyun's voice became sharp, with a hint of dissatisfaction and a hint of fear, "She is our classmate!"

"Okay, put away your pretentious face!"

Li Qiang interrupted her rudely, his tone full of sarcasm.

"You usually don't get along with her, but now you're asking for justice for her. Who are you doing this for? Who are you doing this for? Ah!"

He slammed the table hard, making a loud "bang" sound, which scared Zhang Xiaoyun so much that he trembled.

"You...you..." Zhang Xiaoyun was frightened by his sudden outburst. She pointed at Li Qiang, her lips trembling, but she couldn't utter a complete sentence. Her eyes quickly turned red and tears welled up in her eyes.

"You two stop arguing!"

Li Wei's voice was filled with fatigue and helplessness. "The most important thing now is to think about what we should do next, instead of arguing here!"

She rubbed her swollen temples, her brows furrowed, her face full of worry.

At this moment, there was a loud "bang" and the classroom door was kicked open.

Chen Xiaoru stood at the door, her arms folded across her chest, looking coldly at the people in the room, a hint of sneer on her lips: "I'll tell you what to do."

The loud noise made everyone in the classroom look towards the door.

"Xiao Ru? You...you are not dead?" Zhang Xiaoyun widened his eyes, his face full of disbelief, and his voice trembled a little.

The moment Li Qiang saw Chen Xiaoru, his pupils suddenly contracted and a trace of panic flashed across his face, but he quickly suppressed it. He pretended to be calm and said, "Chen Xiaoru, you...how did you come back?"

Chen Xiaoru walked into the classroom step by step, and every step seemed to step on Li Qiang's heart, making him breathe. She tilted her head, as if thinking seriously about Zhang Xiaoyun's question, and then said in an understated tone:

"Well... it seems like he walked back. Are you surprised? Unexpected?" There was a hint of teasing in the smile on her face, but her eyes were as cold as a knife that scraped across Li Qiang and Zhang Xiaoyun's faces.

"You...you...how is it possible...that you can still be alive after seeing so many zombies!"

Li Qiang stuttered as he unconsciously took a step back, his back pressed tightly against the wall, as if this could give him a sense of security.

"How is it impossible?"

Chen Xiaoru raised her eyebrows, a mocking arc appeared on the corner of her mouth, "Do you think that if you push me out, I will die?"

She approached Li Qiang step by step, her eyes as sharp as a hawk, "Li Qiang, have you forgotten what I used to do?"

Li Qiang's face was pale, beads of sweat oozing from his forehead. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He certainly remembered that Chen Xiaoru used to practice Taekwondo and was a black belt master. Normally, three or five boys couldn't get close to her. But he hadn't expected that she could still come back alive under such circumstances.

"Xiao Ru, it's great that you're back!"

Li Wei quickly walked over to Chen Xiaoru, a smile plastered on her face. She tried to hold her hand, but Chen Xiaoru dodged her. "We were just blaming Li Qiang. How could he do such a thing?"

Chen Xiaoru slammed her left fist into her right palm with a sharp snap, her knuckles cracking as she squeezed them. Slowly, step by step, she approached Li Qiang, each step like a heavy hammer, hammering down on his heart.

She smiled, her voice gentle but chilling: "Oh? Really? Then I really have to thank you for thinking of me so much."

Li Qiang looked at Chen Xiaoru approaching step by step, and felt a chill running from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. His legs became weak and he stepped back step by step. His back hit the wall with a "bang". There was no way to retreat. He shouted fiercely:

"Chen... Chen Xiaoru... what do you want to do? I... I'm warning you, don't do anything rash!"

"Don't worry, I won't do anything to you, really."

Chen Xiaoru blinked her big eyes and stared at Li Qiang, her tone sincere and honest, as if the fierceness just now was just an illusion.

As soon as she finished speaking, her expression suddenly changed. Her originally harmless and pure look disappeared in an instant, replaced by ruthlessness and determination.

She suddenly raised her leg and kicked Li Qiang in the abdomen with a powerful side kick. With a scream of "Ah", Li Qiang flew out like a kite with a broken string, hit the wall heavily, and slid to the ground like a puddle of mud.

Chen Xiaoru moved her wrist, with a bloodthirsty excitement on her face, and walked step by step towards Li Qiang who was curled up on the ground.

She squatted down and gently patted Li Qiang's swollen cheek with her hand, her voice as soft as a lover's whisper: "Li Qiang, tell me, how can I thank you?"

Li Qiang's features were distorted in pain, his lips trembling, but he couldn't utter a complete sound. He could only squeeze out a broken plea for mercy from his throat: "Xiao...Xiao Ru...I...I was wrong...Please...Please..."

Chen Xiaoru giggled, the sound clear and pleasant, yet chilling. She grabbed Li Qiang's hair, forced him to look up, and stared at him coldly: "Wrong? What did you do wrong? Didn't you want me to die? Why are you begging for mercy now?"
