The two began to pack up. Zhou Yuxuan carefully wiped the weapons and tools he used most and put them in his backpack.

Chen Xiaoru stood aside, and with a thought, everything in the house, including furniture, electrical appliances, food, clothes, etc., disappeared like magic and were collected into the space by her.

"Wife, your space is so useful!"

Zhou Yuxuan looked at the empty room and couldn't help but admire it. He walked forward, gently put his arm around Chen Xiaoru's waist, and whispered in her ear, "From now on, we won't have to worry about supplies anymore."

After hearing this, Zhou Yuxuan's eyes lit up with excitement: "Wouldn't it be possible to empty the entire community of supplies?" He rubbed his hands, eager to try, and couldn't wait to implement this plan.

"Theoretically, yes, but we don't have that much time right now."

Chen Xiaoru shook her head and gently patted the back of Zhou Yuxuan's hand, signaling him to calm down. "Besides, we don't know if there are any survivors elsewhere. If we take all the supplies away, what if someone needs them?"

Zhou Yuxuan thought about it and dismissed the idea. He took a deep breath and calmed his excitement. "Well, then, we should go to the Red Base first."

After everything was ready, the two took a last look at this home that was once full of laughter and joy, with a hint of reluctance in their eyes.

The two left home.

The community was dead silent, empty of people.

Several mutated zombies were wandering around aimlessly, their rotten flesh turned inside out, emitting a disgusting stench, but their movements were much more agile than before.

Zhou Yuxuan and Chen Xiaoru held their breath, carefully avoided them, and walked towards the entrance of the community.

Just as she stepped out of the gate of the community, a zombie suddenly jumped out from the green belt next to her at an astonishing speed and rushed straight towards Chen Xiaoru!

"Be careful!" Zhou Yuxuan roared, swung his arm, and a bolt of lightning shot out from his hand, accurately hitting the zombie's head.

"Sizzle--" The zombie's head was instantly charred by the electric shock, and a pungent black smoke came out. Its body twitched violently for a few times, and then it fell to the ground with a "thump", motionless.

"This zombie is much faster than before." Chen Xiaoru patted her chest and said with lingering fear.

Zhou Yuxuan nodded, his expression solemn:

"After the red rain, the zombies have evolved, and we must be more careful." He gripped the weapon in his hand tightly and looked around vigilantly.

The two continued to move forward and encountered several fast-moving mutant zombies along the way.

These zombies are not only faster and stronger, but some can even use the surrounding environment to launch sneak attacks, making them truly hard to guard against.

"Ziz! Ziz!" Zhou Yuxuan waved his arms, and lightning shot out from his hands, accurately hitting the zombies that tried to approach.

Chen Xiaoru followed closely beside him, the frying pan in her hand becoming her deadly weapon. "Bang!" A zombie was sent flying by her frying pan, crashing hard into a roadside utility pole with a dull thud before collapsing to the ground.

"These zombies are too difficult to deal with!" Chen Xiaoru waved the frying pan while panting, and crystal beads of sweat slid down her fair cheeks.

Zhou Yuxuan's brow furrowed as he released lightning to kill the zombies while vigilantly observing the situation around him. The number of zombies was increasing, and they had to leave here as soon as possible.

"We have to leave here quickly. The number of zombies is increasing. I'm afraid that more powerful guys will appear." He said in a deep voice, with a hint of anxiety in his tone.

The two quickened their pace and moved quickly towards the entrance of the community.

Suddenly, a low growl came from the side, and a huge zombie suddenly jumped out from behind an abandoned car, blocking their way.

This zombie was two meters tall, with muscles all over its body, like a small mountain. Its skin was a strange dark red color, reflecting a heart-pounding luster under the sunlight. Its eyes flashed with bloodthirsty light, staring at Zhou Yuxuan and Chen Xiaoru.

"Is this... a mutant zombie king?" Zhou Yuxuan's face changed, and he thought to himself, "Not good!" He had heard of the terrifying nature of this mutant zombie king. They were more powerful and cunning than ordinary mutant zombies. They were the leaders of the zombie herd and extremely difficult to deal with.

"Roar!" The mutant zombie king let out a deafening roar and pounced towards the two of them like a heavy tank, and the ground began to shake.

Zhou Yuxuan's eyes flashed, and he quickly raised his hand. A bolt of lightning as thick as a bucket shot out from his palm and hit the mutant zombie king's chest directly.

"Ziz!" The lightning hit the target, but only caused the mutant zombie king to pause slightly. A puff of black smoke rose from its dark red skin, but then it continued to rush forward as if nothing had happened.

"Its defense is very strong, ordinary lightning is ineffective against it!" Zhou Yuxuan shouted anxiously, with beads of sweat oozing from his forehead.

Chen Xiaoru gritted her teeth, held the frying pan across her chest, and blocked Zhou Yuxuan.
