Due to an unexpected car accident, Chen Xiaoru binds to a mysterious 'Childbirth System' and from then on shuttles through various worlds, giving birth to heirs for the children of destiny....
The car finally pulled into the hospital, the tires screeching as they scraped against the road. Xiao Li slammed on the brakes, stopping precisely in front of the emergency room. Before the car had even come to a complete stop, Xiao's father, like his bottom on fire, flung open the door and jumped out, screaming at the top of his lungs into the emergency room, "Doctor! Doctor! Help! My daughter-in-law is in labor! She's in labor!"
The sound was even more terrifying than the sound of a pig being slaughtered, and it made the windows of the emergency room buzz. Passing patients, family members, and nurses were all startled and looked at him in unison, thinking something serious had happened.
Father Xiao couldn't care less about these things. His mind was now filled with Chen Xiaoru and the baby in her belly. He shouted and danced, like a traffic policeman directing traffic, only his movements were more exaggerated and more ridiculous.
Several nurses reacted and rushed out pushing a stretcher. One of the young nurses couldn't help but laugh and said, "Uncle, please stop shouting. We heard you. Where is your daughter-in-law?"
When Father Xiao saw his savior coming, he quickly pointed at the car and said, "In the car! In the car! Hurry, hurry! She's in so much pain!"
The nurses ran to the car and saw Chen Xiaoru lying in the back seat. Although her face was still a little pale, she was obviously much better than before.
Mother Xiao supported Chen Xiaoru and saw the nurse coming. She hurriedly said, "Doctor, please take a look. How is my daughter-in-law?"
The head nurse, experienced in her duties, peeked into the car and immediately made a judgment. She directed instructions swiftly while reaching out to check on Chen Xiaoru. "The cervix is dilated! Quick! Get ready for the delivery room! The baby's head is almost out!"
The sound was urgent and loud, like a thunderclap, which stunned Xiao's father and mother.
"What? She's...about to give birth?" Xiao's father stammered. His previous impatience had turned into bewilderment. He stared wide-eyed, looking from the head nurse to Chen Xiaoru, his mind blank.
Xiao's mother wasn't much better. She clutched Chen Xiaoru's hand tightly, her palms sweaty. She wanted to say something, but the words were on the tip of her tongue and she swallowed them back. She was left with her mouth open nervously, like a stranded fish.
Several young nurses deftly helped Chen Xiaoru out of the car and onto a stretcher. She groaned in pain, but remained conscious. She bit her lip tightly and tried to cooperate with the nurses' movements.
"Slow down, slow down, be careful!" Father Xiao came to his senses and rushed over. He wanted to help but didn't dare to move. He was so anxious that he kept rubbing his hands, like an ant on a hot pan.
"Uncle, please don't block the road! Make way, make way!" A young nurse was almost pushed against the car door by him and couldn't help raising her voice.
Only then did Mr. Xiao realize that he was in the way and quickly took a few steps back, but his eyes were still fixed on Chen Xiaoru, fearing that she might make a mistake.
The head nurse pushed a stretcher and rushed to the delivery room. As she ran, she kept turning back and shouting, "Family members! Family members, follow us! Go through the paperwork!"
Father Xiao and Mother Xiao finally woke up from their dream and stumbled after him. Father Xiao ran too fast and almost tripped over his own feet. Fortunately, Mother Xiao caught him.
"Slow down! Don't fall!" Xiao's mother scolded, but her tone was filled with undisguised worry.
"I... I'm just anxious!" Father Xiao panted, sweat beads on his forehead. His mood was like a roller coaster, up and down, up and down, and he couldn't calm down at all.
The group rushed into the delivery room in a chaotic manner. The corridor was filled with the shouts of the nurses, the sound of the stretcher wheels, and the messy footsteps of Xiao's father and mother, interweaving into a tense and funny symphony.
Not long after, a loud cry was heard in the delivery room, breaking the tense atmosphere.
"It's born! It's born!" Father Xiao jumped up excitedly and almost hit the ceiling.
The nurse came out holding a swaddled baby and said with a smile, "Congratulations, it's a boy. Both mother and child are safe!"
Xiao's father and mother were overjoyed and hurried over to take a look. The little guy's wrinkled face, closed eyes, and small mouth opening and closing were so adorable.
Before they could enjoy it enough, another cry was heard from the delivery room.
"Another baby?" Father Xiao's eyes widened even more, like two copper bells.
The second nurse came out holding another baby: "Congratulations, it's another boy, mother and child are safe!"
Xiao's father and mother were completely dumbfounded. They looked at each other, their mouths wide open enough to fit an egg. How could this...how could this be wholesale?
Then, the third and fourth cries rang out one after another...
"Congratulations, it's a boy, mother and child are safe!"
"Congratulations, it's a boy, mother and child are safe!"
Father Xiao felt like he was about to suffocate. He leaned against the wall, gasping for air. Mother Xiao was in disbelief, muttering, "Oh my God, oh my God..."
Nurses were bustling in and out, each one with expressions of shock and joy on their faces. This was the first time they had ever seen such a scene.
Finally, after the fifth cry, a nurse came out holding a baby wrapped in pink swaddling clothes: "Congratulations, it's a girl this time, mother and daughter are safe!"
When Father Xiao heard it was a girl, he was instantly revived as if by a shot of chicken blood. He rushed over, carefully took the child, looked at the delicate little face, and was so excited that tears streamed down his face: "Oh, my little granddaughter, grandpa has finally got you!"
Xiao's mother also came over and looked at her five children, four grandsons and one granddaughter. For a moment, she didn't know what to say. This happiness came too suddenly, like a tornado, blowing her away.
