Chapter 964: Shame or Not

Mother Cheng's eyes lit up, "Chen Yuan is here?"

Xiaoyu looked confused.

"I don't know. He's on a business trip out of town and said he won't be back until the day after tomorrow. I'll go down and take a look first."

As he spoke, he put on his shoes and ran out.

Cheng Xiaoyu went to the first floor with her heart pounding.

As soon as I walked out of the corridor, I saw a black SUV parked beside the community corridor.

The man standing next to the car is her incredibly handsome CEO boyfriend whom she has been thinking about day and night!

He was wearing a dark blue high-end suit, no tie, and two buttons of his shirt were undone. He looked sexy and abstinent, as if he had just come out of a conference room and had no time to change into casual clothes before rushing here.

Shi Chenyuan also saw Xiaoyu with a faint smile on his face.

Cheng Xiaoyu's heart was also completely excited.

She almost took a step involuntarily, ran towards her CEO boyfriend, then hugged his neck and jumped up, but Mr. Shi caught her steadily.

So Cheng Xiaoyu hung on the president like a little monkey.

"Why are you here? Aren't you going to be back the day after tomorrow?"

"Can't I give you a surprise?"

Cheng Xiaoyu smiled foolishly: "Okay."

"Shame on you," Shi Chenyuan looked at her with a smile, "Even the puppy is looking at you."

This is the time when the community is busiest with people. Some have just got off work, while others have just finished their meals and are out for a walk, taking their kids out for a walk, or walking their dogs.

People coming and going all looked at this tall, handsome man with outstanding temperament and the little monkey on his body.

Cheng Xiaoyu chuckled and whispered, "It's okay. I don't come back often anyway, so why should I care about them?"

"How long do you plan to hang on, Assistant Cheng? I'm still hungry."

Cheng Xiaoyu blushed and quickly came down, straightening her clothes: "You came at the right time, my dad made a big table of delicious food, and we just started eating."

After she finished speaking, she was about to pull Shi Chenyuan upstairs.

Shi Chenyuan smiled and pulled her back. "Help me get something first."

Cheng Xiaoyu followed Shi Chenyuan to the rear of the car.

He opened the trunk and took out four paper bags and two gift boxes. He handed two light ones to Cheng Xiaoyu and carried the rest himself.

"What are these?" Cheng Xiaoyu looked at the paper bag in his hand curiously. It looked very high-end, but he didn't know what was inside.

Shi Chenyuan smiled and said, "It's my first time coming to my mother-in-law's house, I can't go empty-handed."

Cheng Xiaoyu glanced at him and curled the corners of her lips quietly. The sweet feeling was like eating a jar of honey.

The two went upstairs together. When Cheng Xiaoyu arrived at the door, she realized that she had gone downstairs in a hurry and didn't even bring her keys. She stuck out her tongue and knocked on the door.

It was Mother Cheng who opened the door. After seeing Shi Chenyuan, she welcomed him in with a smile and asked Shi Chenyuan if he had had dinner.

Shi Chenyuan said, "I just drove here from Jiangcheng and haven't had time to eat yet."

"That's perfect, we just started eating," said Mother Cheng, looking at Xiaoyu who was stunned on the side. She said angrily and amusedly, "Get Chen Yuan a pair of slippers first. He must be so happy that his brain is broken."

Cheng Xiaoyu felt embarrassed and blushed as she grumbled, "Mom! I don't have any!"

"Okay, okay, no, no."

Mother Cheng's tone was like coaxing a child, and Shi Chenyuan also looked at her with a smile.

Xiaoyu's face turned even redder. She quickly put down the things in her hands, pursed her lips as if she wanted to smile, and took slippers from the shoe cabinet.

While the three of them were talking, Cheng's father also came out of the restaurant.

"Chen Yuan is here."

Shi Chenyuan stood up straight and greeted Father Cheng politely but a little stiffly: "Hello, uncle."
