Transmigrated into the Marvel world, becoming Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's brother, and also a high school classmate of Spider-Man?
Change the fate of Black Widow and Iron Man's de...
As Gel listened to their conversation, he seemed to be deep in thought: It's only 2013, so why is the Orb already in Quill's hands? Could it be that the Battle of New York accelerated Thanos's search for the Infinity Stones?
"Shut up!"
Yondu roared at the person behind him, then a cold smile curled at the corner of his mouth: "Continue."
Gel nodded: "I heard from the people of Asgard that Xandar has an advanced cosmic civilization and many aliens. I was very curious and wanted to go to Xandar to learn more, so I came here."
Yondu nodded, facing the screen, and asked the other side, "Where was this kid's original destination?"
A moment later, a voice answered from the other end: "It's Xandar."
Yondu gradually relaxed and continued in a hoarse voice, "Didn't they tell you that if you came out alone and were captured by space pirates, you would be in great danger?"
The threatening tone, combined with Yondu's hoarse voice, was extremely intimidating.
Gel looked directly into Yondu's eyes, a relaxed smile on his face that left Yondu somewhat puzzled: "I'm good friends with Thor, the prince of Asgard. He said that if we encounter space pirates, we just need to tell them, and he'll give us a large ransom, as long as you treat me well."
"Ha ha."
"This kid was actually an idiot."
"That's true."
"..."
Behind Yondu, a burst of laughter erupted—they had never seen a hostage so readily reveal what he could get in exchange for ransom, and so openly at that.
Yondu looked coldly behind him, and after a moment, the laughter behind him stopped abruptly.
Yondu patted Gol on the shoulder and then unlocked the handcuffs on Gol's hands: "We space pirates are principled people. We only steal money and don't take lives. As long as you cooperate with us, we will definitely not make things difficult for you."
Gel flexed his wrists, feeling the malicious smiles of the group opposite him, but simply smiled faintly—their strength posed no threat to him whatsoever, and even Yondu's whistle arrows were completely ineffective. But Yondu could help him find Quill, so he didn't mind being a "hostage" for once.
Since they couldn't sense any energy within Gerald, everyone, including Yondu, assumed he was an ordinary person with no strength, so they allowed him to move around freely on the spaceship and provided him with good food and drink.
"Boss, what if this guy is lying and we can't get the ransom?" At one end of the control room, a skinny alien, as thin as a bamboo pole, whispered to Yondu.
Yondu smacked him on the head: "His ship is all ours now. So what if we can't get the ransom? How much are those food and drinks worth? You'd better treat him well and not ruin our reputation as 'the Destroyers,' understand?"
The alien, who was as thin as a bamboo pole, nodded slightly: "I understand."
"How much longer until we reach Xandar?" Yondu asked, narrowing his eyes slightly. That kid Quill had secretly left behind the Orb of Destiny, but Quill would definitely find someone to trade for it. So, now, as long as they get to Xandar and find that trader, they can find Quill!
When the time comes, Quill will definitely learn the consequences of betraying him!
“If we travel at full speed, we can arrive in just ten days,” the alien, who was as thin as a bamboo pole, replied.
Yondu touched the whistle at his waist, waved to his underlings, and after they took a couple of steps, he hesitated for a moment before calling them back.
"What's wrong?" the younger brother asked Yondu, puzzled.
Yondu glanced at Gel, who was engrossed in reading in the distance, took a deep breath, and instructed his underling, "Keep an eye on him these next few days and see if he does anything unusual."
The younger brother was slightly taken aback: "What do you mean by unusual behavior?"
Yondu gave him a disdainful look: "I'm just wondering if he's deliberately trying to find out anything, or if he's trying to steal our spaceship or something. Anyway, if he does anything that's inconsistent with what we're supposed to do as prisoners, tell me."
Although the younger brother was full of doubt, he still nodded. This prisoner, Ger, was very well-behaved from beginning to end. If no one was talking to him, he would just stay there reading. What unusual behavior could such a prisoner possibly do?
Yondu didn't know what he was doubting, but he felt uneasy every time he saw Gol.
As Ger listened to the sounds around him, a smile slowly appeared on his face—with his abilities, he could already multitask, and without him even asking anything, the conversations of these aliens around him already revealed a lot of information.
For the next ten days or so, Ger spent his time on the spaceship. Most of the time, he would read books and listen to the conversations of the people around him, and he learned a lot of information.
"We've arrived at Xandar."
The operator's voice came from beside Yondu. His voice was loud enough for everyone in the control room to hear.
Gel, who had come over specifically to look at Yondu, who was all ready to go, said somewhat "embarrassedly," "Excuse me, may I come down with you? I originally came to Xandar to take a look around, so I'd like to come along. But don't worry, I definitely won't wander off."
Yondu glanced at Gol, pondered for a moment, and then beckoned to his two underlings in the distance: "You two come here and go with Gol. Take him around. As long as he doesn't run away, let him wander around as he pleases."
