Chapter 85 Wanda's Outbreak
The next moment, Agatha's consciousness plunged into darkness, and she returned to the night she feared most, the night that made her who she was. She was bound to a rack, surrounded by dozens of witches who wanted to kill her.
"No, don't come any closer."
Wanda stared at Agatha, who was convulsing on the ground, for a moment before shifting her gaze to the ground around her.
The scattered bricks and stones made the surrounding streets very messy. Wanda slightly turned her hands downwards and slowly rose into the air. After a moment, all the bricks and stones on the ground were covered with a layer of chaotic energy.
Then, the bricks and stones slowly flew up, heading towards the original house.
"Click! Click! Click..."
The sound of bricks being stacked echoed continuously, and in just a moment, Wanda's house reappeared intact in the same spot.
Then, the chaotic energy within Wanda's body dissipated in all directions, spreading to every household in the town.
All those who were asleep have now awakened.
However, no one knew that a terrible battle had taken place here.
Under the azure sky, Wanda slowly opened her eyes, looked at the Dark Book beside her, and said with a complicated expression, "I'd better destroy you. If my brother knew I kept you, he would definitely be unhappy."
She could feel the allure of the Dark Book, and the knowledge within it was like a feast laid out before her, compelling her to examine it.
But that's precisely why she was afraid.
She had only just obtained it, and hadn't even read it yet, but the Dark Book had already had such a profound impact on her. Perhaps when she used it, she would truly be controlled by the Dark Book, just as described in the Kamar-Taj spellbooks.
"Bang!"
With a soft sound, a flame appeared in Wanda's palm, and the surrounding air became somewhat illusory for a moment. Even the Dark Book not far away trembled slightly, as if it sensed its impending doom.
Wanda reached out slightly towards the Dark Book, but suddenly, her heart skipped a beat, and a strange panic surged up inside her. The flame in her hand flickered for a moment and almost went out.
Wanda clearly discerned that the source of this panic did not come from the Dark Book, but from a deep-seated feeling in her blood, as if her closest relatives were about to leave her.
"Brother? Pietro?" Wanda dissipated the primal flames in her hands, clutching her chest as she slowly raised her head. However, the panic in her heart grew stronger, causing her body to tremble involuntarily.
Wanda waved her hand, and chaotic energy rapidly accumulated forward, quickly stimulating the surrounding spatial energy, and a spatial door leading to her home opened swiftly.
Wanda quickly stepped inside, but when she saw Pietro standing in the living room, also clutching his chest, her pupils contracted immediately: "Pietro, you sensed it too, didn't you?"
Pietro nodded, his eyes filled with panic—there was only one explanation for this situation: something had happened to Ger!
But now, how do we find Gehr?
Wanda felt her chest tightening, took a deep breath, and after a moment, resolutely turned her gaze to the Dark Book at the other end of the portal.
“If you can help me today, perhaps I will consider keeping you here.” Wanda beckoned slightly to the Dark Book. A gray light flashed across the Dark Book, and the next moment, it flew in front of Wanda and slowly opened.
Wanda glanced at the open page, her eyes quickly taking in all the contents: "Bloodline Connection Technique. Using a magic circle, one can quickly locate those with whom one has a close bloodline and see the scene around them..."
The next moment, Wanda swung her hands heavily, and Pietro next to her was directly knocked away.
“Wanda, shake it off…” But before Pietro could finish speaking, a shocking scene unfolded before his eyes.
Wanda waved her hands, and all the candles in the room fell to the ground and then lit up automatically.
“Far from enough.” Wanda murmured, her hands trembling slightly. With the surge of chaotic energy, dozens of candles appeared out of thin air around her and arranged in a strange shape.
Wanda sat down cross-legged and quickly formed hand seals. A moment later, multiple magical symbols appeared out of thin air and hovered above the candle, while the Dark Book slowly floated above Wanda's head.
Pietro looked at this strange scene, puzzled but not daring to disturb Wanda, because he felt the oppression in his heart growing heavier and heavier.
Finally, a void projection appeared in the middle of the house, and Gale's figure also appeared in the void projection.
“Brother…” Wanda and Pietro turned their gaze to the projection in the void, and when they saw the scene around Gel, their expressions changed drastically.
Gel was standing in a very dark environment. There was a deep wound on his face, from which blood was dripping. Not far from him stood hundreds of strange men with iron-blue bodies. The eyes of these strange men were flashing with an eerie red light, and they looked extremely terrifying.
They even saw despair on Ger's face—the first time they had ever seen such a look on his face!
"Brother, wait for me." Wanda surged her chaotic energy forward, trying to use her current senses to open a spatial portal to Gel's side.
However, to Wanda's dismay, despite the influx of spatial energy, she was unable to open the portal.
Her strength was insufficient to support the spatial portal leading to Geer.
At this moment, Wanda finally realized that her brother was definitely no longer on Earth.
The sky above Jotunheim grew increasingly dark, and a fierce wind swept through, scattering snow and ice everywhere, making both Gol and Thor's faces turn cold.
