Chapter Ninety-Six: The King of the Asgardian Arena

These two in the arena seem inhuman. One can summon lightning, and the other can use frost, fire, and spatial blades at will. Moreover, their attacks are all extremely terrifying. How are the others supposed to survive?

Seeing this battle, Peter and Harry's last bit of pride gradually dissipated. They had thought they were already very strong, but they were afraid they wouldn't last more than a few moves against these two.

Just then, a soft yet cold voice came from the center of the round platform, slowly reaching everyone's ears.

"Certainly."

The scattered pebbles were now completely suspended in mid-air. If someone looked closely, they could see that the pebbles were stained with a faint layer of gray energy.

A moment later, the dust in the center of the platform quickly dissipated, and a magical scene unfolded: all the pebbles flew back to their original positions, and then the entire platform returned to its previous state.

"hiss."

What's going on?

Is this time magic?

"..."

This time, the noise was even louder than before. While they could understand the frost, fire, and spatial blades used in the previous battles, the fact that the destroyed platform had been restored to its original state was something they had never imagined.

Frigga smiled faintly, took Wanda's hand, and looked at Wanda: "If I'm not mistaken, this is your telekinesis, plus a little bit of..."

"Plus a little bit of wish fulfillment," Wanda said with a smile, picking up where Frigga left off.

The use of any time magic could disrupt the order of spacetime and bring unpredictable consequences. This was something the Ancient One had warned them about countless times, which is why Wanda and Gel never dared to use time magic recklessly.

During the exchange between the two, an Asgardian who was watching finally realized what was happening and reminded his companion, "Have you noticed something? It seems that the mage from Midgard won."

At this point, more and more Asgardians discovered this fact and then looked in horror toward the center of the platform.

There, Ger was standing still, though he looked a bit disheveled and his clothes were torn. Beside him, Thor was lying on the ground, unable to move, seemingly unconscious.

As more and more people realized what was happening, they finally stared wide-eyed at Geer, who was standing upright in the center of the field.

This mage from Midgard actually defeated their long-time champion, Thor!

Gel smiled faintly at the various gazes directed at him, looked around, and then fixed his gaze on Wanda, Pietro, Harry, and Peter, who were cheering and expressing their excitement.

And Gel noticed that Odin, holding a golden scepter, was slowly standing up.

"Wake up."

Odin slightly raised the golden scepter and pointed it in Thor's direction. A beam of white light shot out from the top of the golden scepter and arrived on Thor in the blink of an eye.

A moment later, Thor opened his eyes slightly and then stood up.

At this moment, the arena, which had housed hundreds of thousands of people, fell silent once more. Everyone looked at Odin, seemingly waiting for him to announce the outcome of the battle.

Odin looked around, a smile slowly spreading across his face: "Today, Gol and Thor have brought us a contest of warriors. Here, I solemnly declare that Gol is the undisputed king of this arena."

At the same time, Odin raised his golden scepter, and a white light shot into the sky, then transformed into fireworks as it rose into the air and sprayed down.

"Alas!"

"Ger! Ger!"

"King! King!"

"..."

Countless cheers and heartfelt shouts filled the air and reached Ger's eyes. As he looked at the dazzling fireworks bursting in the sky and the genuine smiles on everyone's faces, Ger smiled gently as well.

Stripped of all scheming and infighting, and free from any divisions of opinion, they were simply cheering for the victor.

And he is the winner!

Sol walked over happily and patted Gol on the shoulder: "Congratulations, Gol, I admit defeat wholeheartedly."

Thor seemed to have restrained his strength; although he patted Gale's shoulder, it wasn't so heavy as to cause Gale pain. The expression on Thor's face at that moment was one of genuine happiness for Gale, without a trace of displeasure.

"Tonight, we will have a bonfire party in the square!"

Odin's voice rang out again, followed by a deafening roar of cheers.

How many years has it been since such a grand bonfire party was held? Not to mention, there's also a battle today that has driven them so wild!

After cheering for an unknown amount of time, everyone finally began to leave and start preparing for the bonfire party that evening. And on the way home, the streets were suddenly filled with people discussing the battle.

They hadn't seen such a great fight in a long time, and Gale, as the victor, had won so decisively with his own strength.

Night came quickly, as if in the blink of an eye, night had arrived while we were still excited.

At this moment, in a huge square, there were many bonfires burning with firewood, and around each bonfire, there were circles of people.

They were singing, dancing, and laughing.

Around the largest campfire, Odin, Frigga, Thor, Gol, the Warriors Three, and others were all seated, and even Banner, Betty, Gwen, and Jane were also present.
