Xu Qingyun was the second daughter of the Xu family. She was driven out of her home at the age of twelve and disappeared for ten years.
When she returned, she was stunning in a cheongsam, exu...
Xu Qingyun also frowned. A basin of blood was indeed too exaggerated, but Ji Hanchen's complexion was not good, and it was obvious that he was uncomfortable.
Regardless, Ji Hanchen did help her just now, otherwise Ji Lun would definitely have continued to pester her.
"Thank you, I'll take you back to the hospital." Xu Qingyun started the car with the key.
Lu Chuan was stunned and subconsciously looked at Shen Luo and Ji Hanchen. This girl was so sensible that even he was at a loss.
Ji Hanchen clutched his stomach, looking pained. "Chen Luo, I can't walk anymore."
Lu Chuan's eyes darted around, and he said casually, "Old Ji, you haven't eaten much today, you must be hungry."
"Miss Xu, if it's not too much trouble, could you please get Old Ji some food? He'll leave after he eats."
Xu Qingyun frowned slightly, but still nodded, "Okay."
She walked in front, with three men following behind.
Shen Luo gave a mocking snort, while Lu Chuan looked nonchalant. Only Ji Hanchen, with his dark eyes fixed on the beautiful figure in front of him, had already lost his heart.
Xu Qingyun wasn't wearing a cheongsam today, but a long beige knitted dress paired with flat ankle boots, and an open light blue trench coat over it. Her hair was also loose, making her look more gentle than usual.
All day long, Ji Hanchen felt empty inside, and he felt very uncomfortable until he saw Xu Qingyun. Only then did this emptiness seem to be filled.
Xu Qingyun hadn't eaten either. She had originally planned to cook some clear soup noodles for herself, but now that Ji Hanchen and Lu Chuan were there, she couldn't just do that. She had to add at least a poached egg.
"Mr. Ji, would you like some noodles?" Xu Qingyun asked.
Ji Hanchen felt a lump in his throat; he had become Mr. Ji again.
If I hadn't said "Miss Xu" last night, things probably wouldn't have turned out this way.
Lu Chuan, suppressing a laugh, said, "Mr. Ji? Old Ji, your relationship is rather distant."
“Miss Xu, you and Lao Ji don’t need to be so polite, just call him by his name.”
Xu Qingyun didn't speak; it was Ji Hanchen who called out to Miss Xu first.
She went into the kitchen and put on an apron.
Ji Hanchen gestured to his two friends, "Have a seat."
Seeing Xu Qingyun take two eggs and a scallion out of the refrigerator, Ji Hanchen said, "Yunyun's clear soup noodles taste great."
Shen Luo raised an eyebrow. "I've never actually eaten it before."
Xu Qingyun looked towards the living room and politely asked, "Would Mr. Lu and Mr. Shen like to have something to eat together?"
"No……"
"good."
Lu Chuan and Shen Luo spoke at the same time, but their answers were completely different.
Ji Hanchen gave Shen Luo a cold glance. If he wanted noodles, why didn't he go home and ask his wife?
Shen Luo said expressionlessly, "My stomach hurts, I want to eat something to warm it up, and I'll take this opportunity to try Miss Xu's cooking."
Xu Qingyun nodded, "Okay."
Another fried egg will have to be added.
In half an hour, Xu Qingyun made four bowls of clear soup noodles.
The snow-white noodles, with a light brown broth and pretty oil droplets floating on top, a soft-boiled sunny-side-up egg, and garnished with a few Shanghai bok choy leaves, tiny scallion leaves, and cilantro leaves.
Although the soup looked bland and watery, Ji Hanchen ate it with great relish.
Lu Chuan smiled teasingly, slurping his noodles while glancing at Ji Hanchen every now and then. "Chen Luo, do you remember that Old Ji never eats noodles?"
Shen Luo picked up a mouthful of noodles with her chopsticks and sneered, "Love can change your taste."
Both of them were actually saying this to Xu Qingyun, how could Xu Qingyun not understand?
Ji Hanchen smiled gently, "Meeting a girl I like is something I'm happy to do."
Xu Qingyun lowered her long eyelashes, her fair cheeks slightly flushed, and she seemed very uncomfortable.
Shen Luo and Lu Chuan acted quickly, making an excuse to leave after finishing their noodles, leaving Ji Hanchen dawdling alone.
Xu Qingyun took the three people's bowls and chopsticks to the kitchen and stood by the sink to wash them.
Just then, Ji Hanchen suddenly hugged her from behind.
Xu Qingyun trembled violently, her whole body instantly stiffening. "Ji Hanchen, you've gone too far! Let me go!"
Ji Hanchen, however, acted like a rogue, gently resting his chin on her shoulder, "No."
"Yunyun, I'm sorry, I regret calling you Miss Xu. Please don't call me Mr. Ji anymore."
"And that day, I shouldn't have called you a jerk just because I was jealous. I was just too jealous. The thought of you marrying Ji Lun made me lose my temper."
Ji Hanchen made no attempt to hide anything and revealed all his thoughts.
He no longer wanted to protect his pride.
Xu Qingyun's spring waters were disturbed.
"Ji Hanchen, let me go first." Xu Qingyun was a little anxious because there was still dish soap foam on her hands, so she could only try her best to open the gap between the two of them.
Ji Hanchen raised his head.
Xu Qingyun thought Ji Hanchen was about to let her go, but unexpectedly he took a step forward, and their bodies were almost pressed together.
The man's warm, large hand held her fingers as he washed them in the soup bowl.
The temperature around them seemed to rise instantly, and Xu Qingyun felt a surge of heat throughout her body. Her voice trembled slightly as she said, "Ji Hanchen, you..."
"Yunyun, I'm washing the dishes for you."
"Then you wash, I'll leave." That position was too ambiguous; she wasn't used to it.
Ji Hanchen chuckled softly, "If Yunyun leaves, then it can't be considered that I'm helping you."
Xu Qingyun: "..."
That's clearly just sophistry.
"Ji Hanchen, please don't do this, I..." Xu Qingyun's voice was low and softer than ever before, as if she were pleading with him.
Ji Hanchen's heart stirred, and the string of emotion was gently plucked, producing a pleasant melody.
"Yunyun, turn around." Ji Hanchen coaxed, wanting to kiss her.
Xu Qingyun's heart skipped a beat; her body sensitively sensed the man's intentions.
