In the unknown century of Guangyuan, the unnamed galaxy achieved unification. To address population issues, a marriage matching system was developed, forcibly pairing people through data calculatio...
The silver-gray spaceship stopped in front of the solemn black building. A young man in military uniform stepped out of the spaceship, raised his hand to shield his eyes from the sun, and squinted at the dazzling golden badge and the words "Alliance Military Command Headquarters" shining brightly in the sunlight.
"Major General Chu?" The man, dressed in a black short-sleeved gym uniform and draped with a towel, wiped his sweat and smiled, "Here to see General Yu?"
Before Chu Yunmu could nod, the man pointed to the basketball court not far away: "Basketball game."
Chu Yunmu smiled, patted the man's shoulder, and strode towards the training room.
As everyone knows, Chu Yunmu and Yu Wei are best friends who grew up together. From the Alliance Youth Military Training Base to the Alliance Military Headquarters, from bunkmates to teammates to colleagues, the two have supported each other all the way and are inseparable, their friendship stronger than gold.
The spacious basketball court was packed with people, three layers deep. Chu Yunmu couldn't squeeze in, so he could only find a step a short distance away and crane his neck to watch the heated game.
With just one glance, he locked onto Yu Wei. The white figure nimbly weaved through the crowd with the basketball, turning, dribbling past opponents, and leaping for a perfect dunk that drew cheers from the entire arena.
"Yuwei!"
"Yuwei!"
"Yuwei!"
...
The cheers grew louder and louder, and Chu Yunmu clapped his hands excitedly, shouting Yu Wei's name.
Yu Wei shook his head and narcissistically flicked his non-existent bangs.
You'll all be horribly impressed by my handsomeness!
Yu Wei glanced at Chu Yunmu outside the crowd and waved to him with a smile. Chu Yunmu's heart skipped a beat. He composed himself, picked up his water bottle, and walked towards the crowd with a smile.
Several onlookers, eager for a good show, whistled and made way for Chu Yunmu.
Yu Wei is recognized as the strongest Alpha in the alliance. The pheromones released by his S-level glands are absolutely overwhelming for all Alphas and Omegas, and he is the dream partner for all Omegas in the alliance.
While S-class glands give Alphas an unparalleled advantage in many aspects, such as physical ability, there is also a fatal problem: it is difficult to find a compatible Omega.
This world does not distinguish between male and female. Everyone differentiates into three genders—Alpha, Beta, and Omega—between the ages of fourteen and sixteen. Alphas and Omegas can attract each other by releasing pheromones through glands. Alphas possess superhuman physical strength and combat power and possess a large amount of resources. Omegas are physically weak but have extremely strong reproductive capabilities and need to rely on Aloha for survival. Betas do not have glands, cannot smell pheromones, and are not capable of reproduction.
Before the alliance was established, each planet was ruled by a major empire. The royal families were extravagant and oppressed the poor. War, disaster, famine and death swept across the entire star system. The five families of Yu, Zhou, Lin, Chu and Qin jointly launched an anti-empire war and established the interstellar alliance.
Many Alphas died in the war, and after the war, Alphas became a rare species, with high-level Alphas like Yu Wei being even rarer.
Yu Wei's glands are too advanced. He has been single for over 20 years and has not found a compatible Omega, but he has a 90% compatibility with Chu Yunmu, who is also an Alpha.
Therefore, Chu Yunmu and Yu Wei's mutual friends all agreed that the two were a match made in heaven. In addition, the two were inseparable all day long, to the point that everyone wished they could be in their shoes and help them confess their feelings.
"Have you been here long? Why didn't you find a shady spot?"
Yu Wei took the water Chu Yunmu handed him, tilted his head back, and drank it all in one gulp.
"I can't find it." Chu Yunmu shrugged, staring blankly at Yu Wei's Adam's apple bobbing up and down, and said helplessly, "You're too popular."
"Hey, tell me in advance next time, and I'll save you a super good spot." Yu Wei pointed to a bench in the shade by the court: "Sit there first, there's only half a game left."
Chu Yunmu nodded and walked to the bench. The people resting on the bench laughed and teased him.
"Sister-in-law, please sit down."
"Sister-in-law, please sit here."
Although they were Yu Wei's subordinates, Yu Wei was an approachable boss, so it was common for them to joke around with each other.
"Go away, go away, if you keep yelling like that, you'll have to run another fifty kilometers." Yu Wei waved his hand, turned to Chu Yunmu and said, "Don't mind them, they're just used to being careless and don't know how to speak properly..."
Chu Yunmu smiled and shook his head, patted Yu Wei's shoulder and urged, "Everyone's waiting for you, hurry up."
This was supposed to be a recreational game, and with Chu Yunmu sitting on the sidelines, the group exchanged glances and decided to let him win. Even though they were already out of the game, their sister-in-law was there; how could they let Yu Shang continue playing basketball? Basketball is no match for a handsome man.
Chu Yunmu is a recognized handsome man in the alliance. His long, smooth blue hair, as soft as silk, is tied behind his head, with a strand of hair falling from his forehead, obscuring his gentle, watery peach blossom eyes. His features are exquisitely sculpted, and the corners of his lips are slightly upturned, always smiling at everyone he looks at.
Yuwei's opponents held back considerably, and the pace of the second half quickened significantly, allowing Yuwei's team to secure a decisive victory.
"How was that? Wasn't my three-pointer awesome?"
Yu Wei ran up to Chu Yunmu, her eyes sparkling as she looked at him, her face practically screaming, "Please praise me! Please praise me!"
Chu Yunmu picked up a towel from the bench and handed it to Yu Wei, who smiled helplessly as he looked at the young man.
I always feel like this guy has a big tail wagging behind him.
"Let me tell you, if that brat hadn't stopped me, I definitely could have gotten another one..."
Yu Wei and Chu Yunmu walked side by side, wiping their sweat as they talked incessantly about the ball game they had just played.
