In the unknown century of Guangyuan, the unnamed galaxy achieved unification. To address population issues, a marriage matching system was developed, forcibly pairing people through data calculatio...
"Holy crap, birdman?"
Sun Jun glanced in the direction of the approaching person and saw a strange winged man following closely behind him, flapping his wings in pursuit.
"Don't just stand there, save them!"
The commander was the first to react, summoning his mech and maneuvering it into the air to engage in combat with the people above.
The huge commotion caused a stir, and the new recruits who were training couldn't help but crane their necks to look up at the sky.
It took a lot of effort from instructors and trainers at all levels to keep the troops in line, but even with orders in place, some people still couldn't resist peeking.
"Quick, quick, get him to the infirmary!"
Sun Jun, dragging his aching legs, rushed forward to support the man and called out to the Second Battalion Commander.
The second battalion commander performed basic hemostasis and ordered someone to bring a stretcher to take the wounded to the infirmary.
"Who is this person? He looks familiar."
Watching the departing figure on the stretcher, Sun Jun couldn't help but ask.
"Warehouse manager." The second battalion commander held up the name tag he had taken from the man, reading aloud as he deciphered the blood-stained words: "Warehouse 1, Sector L..."
"Holy crap! The armory!" Sun Jun slapped his thigh and grabbed the second battalion commander's collar, exclaiming anxiously, "The armory has been attacked!"
Section L is located at the outermost part of the warehouse. It used to be a place for storing miscellaneous items, but it has just been cleared out to store cold weapons such as daggers and training guns used for new recruits' combat training.
"bite……"
A crisp collision sound rang out as the commander, who was flying in mid-air, crashed to the ground.
"Wow!"
Sun Jun immediately summoned his mecha and flew towards the regimental commander, catching him steadily as he landed on the ground. He gripped his knife and prepared to attack.
"Don't go!" The captain grabbed Sun Jun's arm, took off his helmet, revealing a blood-covered face: "He's a superhuman!"
"A superhuman?"
Sun Jun and the second battalion commander were both stunned. The regimental commander's eyes, ears and mouth were covered in blood, making him look quite horrifying.
"Mental attack..."
The battalion commander pounded his buzzing head, his expression one of great pain.
The enormous wings cast dark shadows on the ground, swept past the three of them, and flew into the distance.
"Oh no, he's heading towards the new recruits..."
Without hesitation, Sun Jun maneuvered the aircraft toward the shadowy figure, blocking its path before it reached the training ground.
"sister in law?"
Sun Jun was stunned for a few seconds. Although he had only met Zhou Siyu briefly in the morning, her stunning appearance was still etched in his mind.
"roll……"
His pale, thin lips uttered a single word, and his amber eyes, instead of their usual coldness, were filled with madness and bloodlust.
"You can't go there..."
Before he could finish speaking, Zhou Siyu had already launched an attack.
A flash of cold light appeared, and Sun Jun instinctively parried with his sword. The sharp dagger sliced through the blade, sending sparks flying.
The immense impact forced both of them back a step. Sun Jun quickly switched his longsword for a dagger and assumed a defensive stance.
It's not that he can't fight, it's that he doesn't dare to fight. If he really hurts Zhou Siyu, Yu Wei will beat him to death!
The more restrained Sun Jun became, the more ferocious Zhou Siyu's attacks became, and he gradually gained the upper hand.
Zhou Siyu dodged Sun Jun's dagger by tilting her head, and the dagger in her hand slashed across the mecha, making a piercing sound.
A shallow scratch was left on the mecha. Zhou Siyu seemed to be stunned for a moment, then flashed to Sun Jun's side and swung his dagger at his neck. Sun Jun quickly dodged the attack, and the dagger only left a scratch on the mecha.
"Holy crap... teleportation?"
Sun Jun dared not be careless and could only do his best to evade, leading Zhou Siyu outside the recruit training ground.
"Go help!" Seeing that Sun Jun was beaten and dared not fight back, the regimental commander wiped the blood off his face and pushed away the second battalion commander who was helping him. "Sun Jun can't beat them by himself."
Before he finished speaking, Sun Jun plummeted straight down like a bird with broken wings.
"Sun Jun!"
The second battalion commander and the regimental commander couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. Before the second battalion commander could make a move, a silver-black shadow swiftly approached and caught Sun Jun in mid-air.
“They’re not dead.” A clear voice rang out. Yu Wei summoned his mecha and issued orders as he walked: “Xu Zhou, take your commander and Sun Jun to the infirmary.”
"Wang Ye, organize everyone to evacuate."
The second and third battalion commanders, Wang Ye and Wang Ye, replied, "Received." Then they went about their tasks.
"Oh no... my head is going to explode..."
After retracting his mecha, Sun Jun rolled around in pain, groaning.
Perhaps because he had been hiding, he fared slightly better than the commander, without the gruesome sight of blood flowing from all seven orifices.
"Two people, come and carry it away."
Xu Zhou, ignoring the fight between the two in the air, directed his men to put the regimental commander and Sun Jun onto stretchers.
“Oh my god, let me tell you about Lao Xu…” Sun Jun kept rambling on despite his headache, “You don’t know, that guy suddenly ran to my left, then suddenly ran behind me… I accidentally made eye contact with him… and my whole brain started buzzing non-stop, like a thousand computer mainframes were running in my brain…”
"Shut up!"
Xu Zhou couldn't take it anymore, so he slapped Sun Jun, pulled out the retractable rope, and tied the man to the stretcher. Finally, he had some peace and quiet.
On the other side, Yu Wei had no weapon in his hand and caught Zhou Siyu's knife with his bare fist and arm.
After exchanging more than ten moves, Yu Wei, fearing that he might injure Zhou Siyu by using too much force, could only defend passively and carefully try to subdue him.
"Siyu, look closely, it's me."
Yu Wei grabbed Zhou Siyu's wrist, and his foot, which was about to kick Zhou Siyu's stomach, stopped just in time.
But Zhou Siyu gave him no chance. He loosened his grip, and the upward-facing dagger was reversed and held in his hand.
Before Yu Wei could react, Zhou Siyu appeared behind him like a ghost, wrapped his legs around Yu Wei's waist, put one hand around Yu Wei's neck, and raised the dagger in the other hand to stab at his neck.
