The food in the lab was mostly bland, and Qin Ge found it tasteless, while Zhou Siyu ate with great relish, since what he saw was not porridge but a seafood feast.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Sometimes he genuinely felt that this ability to see illusions was quite good; as long as what he saw wasn't disgusting, he could accept it.

How's the situation at the hospital?

Lin Ling is the backbone of the laboratory. If he were to fall ill, many experiments would come to a standstill.

"You too, take good care of yourselves, otherwise we elders won't feel at ease."

Lin Ling took a sip of coffee and slowly glanced at Zhou Siyu.

Qin Ge nodded and chuckled.

Zhou Siyu touched the tip of her nose and lowered her head even further, trying to minimize her presence.

"Uncle Lin, I'm full. Si Yu, how about you?"

Qin Ge gently nudged Zhou Siyu with his foot under the table. Zhou Siyu nodded, looking somewhat confused, and said, "I'm done eating too."

"Let's go, I'll take you to see Xiao Wei."

Lin Ling glanced at the half-eaten bowl of porridge left in Zhou Siyu's bowl and sighed inwardly. It seemed that he couldn't eat anything without seeing Yu Wei.

“He’s in the sterile room.” Lin Ling took the isolation gown and handed it to Qin Ge and Zhou Siyu. “You can talk to him, he can hear you, but don’t speak too loudly.”

After the three of them changed their clothes, Lin Ling took a few steps forward, raised her hand, and a combination lock appeared in front of her.

Blue light emanates from the ground, travels across the white wall, and forms a peculiar circular pattern in the very center.

"Xiao Qin, you can go down first." Lin Ling pointed to the elevator next to them. "There's an elevator over there."

Qin Ge nodded. The room was completely soundproof, so no one knew what he was saying.

Qin Ge stood by the platform with his hands behind his back, jokingly saying in a relaxed manner, "You're really something, running around here sleeping all by yourself, leaving your wife for me to take care of. Zhou Siyu stood in the corridor, watching Qin Ge talk to himself, cry and laugh intermittently, and then turned to Lin Ling, "Is he alright?"

"What? How could that be? Don't wrong me!" Qin Ge immediately denied it three times in a row. After saying that, he held up the communicator and pretended to be busy, "I have something to do, I'll go first."
