"What's going on? What's all the noise about?"

"General Yu, someone has infiltrated the transport vehicle."

Upon hearing this, Yu Wei put down the list and walked over with Lin Gu. When Lin Gu saw a familiar face in the crowd, he exclaimed in surprise, "Holy crap! Zhou Siyu?"

"What are you doing here? Go back!" Yu Wei took off his helmet and stared at Zhou Siyu with an unfriendly expression: "Disrupting discipline and daring to hit people, you've got some nerve!"

"I'm not going back!" Zhou Siyu was a little scared when she saw Yu Wei so angry for the first time, but she still mustered up her courage and said, "Now that I'm here, there's no way I can go back."

“No!” Yu Wei took a deep breath, steadied himself, and said, “We don’t have enough equipment, and you haven’t received professional training.”

“They didn’t have any either.” Zhou Siyu pointed to the researchers at the Oran Labs: “Why were they allowed in?”

“We will take responsibility for protecting them.” Yu Wei pinched the bridge of his nose. “One-to-many protection.”

"I can protect myself, I don't need to..."

"Please, go back."

Yu Wei's pleading tone stunned everyone present. Shock! The iron-willed General Yu was actually humbling himself to beg someone!

Lin Gu's mouth was so big it could fit four eggs! Good heavens! What's going on? Yu Wei is the kind of person who would rather be beaten to death than beg for mercy, and who wouldn't utter a sound even when bullets hit him, yet he actually said "please."

What's wrong with the world? Is the sun going to rise in the south tomorrow?

Zhou Siyu was also stunned. Was this still the same Yu Wei who was rebellious from head to toe and would rather sleep outside than give in?

“I believe you will save him, but I don’t believe you will protect yourself.” Zhou Siyu stared at Yu Wei, unyielding: “I’ll be with you; I can protect you.”

"I don't need anyone's protection!" Yu Wei was momentarily stunned, but quickly recovered and coldly repeated, "I don't need anyone's protection."

"you need to!"

"No need!" Looking at Lin Gu who had returned, Yu Wei's tone softened considerably: "You can go if you want, but you have to follow my orders."

"real……"

Before she could finish speaking, Zhou Siyu felt something bite her, and her head instantly became dizzy.

"You...you're lying..."

Zhou Siyu's body went limp and he collapsed. Yu Wei quickly caught him, carried him into the tent, and carefully tied him up with a rope.

"Lu Qin, keep an eye on him." Yu Wei walked out of the tent, putting on his helmet as he instructed, "Don't untie the ropes until someone comes back. Give him some food and water, just make sure he doesn't starve to death."

Those who witnessed Yu Wei's series of actions were stunned. General Yu was still the same General Yu. He seemed to be obsequious, but in fact he was looking for an opportunity to strike unexpectedly. We learned something!

Why do they all have that "you don't understand" look on their faces? Did they miss something?

After Yu Wei and his men left, only a few scattered people remained in the vast camp. Lu Qin sat behind the equipment, controlling the drone to scout ahead of Yu Wei and his group.

When Zhou Siyu woke up, it was already past 11 p.m. The tent provided excellent blackout, making it feel like nighttime, and the surrounding area was filled with the sounds of snoring.

"Hey! Yu Wei, you bastard, you dead liar! If you don't want me to go, then don't let me go! Why are you tying me up?"

After struggling for a long time, the rope didn't budge. Zhou Siyu looked up to the sky and sighed, "This knot must be for tethering cattle, it's damn sturdy."

"Oh, you're awake?"

Lu Qin lifted the tent flap and saw a person tied up like a dumpling in the corner. He handed over a pack of compressed biscuits, saying, "Make do with this."

"I won't eat it, so untie me right now."

Zhou Siyu turned her face away and moved away with difficulty.

“That won’t do. General Yu said we can’t untie it until he gets back.” Lu Qin tore open the biscuit and patiently advised, “Why bother? You’ll only suffer if you starve.”

How long have they been gone?

Zhou Siyu took a bite of the compressed biscuit from Lu Qin's hand. This guy was right; he needed to save his strength to beat up Yu Wei.
