Chapter 180 Feigning Indifference (2)

After they parted ways, Lin Gu was listless for a long time, unable to muster any interest in anything. He frequently lost focus during theory classes, and even during training, he couldn't dodge the simplest straight punch.

Yu Wei naturally noticed his unusual behavior and raised the question during lunch.

Faced with his innocent brother-in-law, Lin Gu dared not tell him the truth and casually brushed it off.

Because of his frequent mistakes, he failed many assessments. In the spirit of sharing the difficulties, Zuo Li sent him and Yu Zhen to the military training regiment in charge of military training.

Lin Gu was very happy to see Yu Zhen on the list of new students. He excitedly switched the college and class with Yu Wei. However, on the first day, he saw Yu Zhen giving him a cold shoulder and frequently glancing at the class next door where Yu Wei was.

Regardless of how different Yu Zhen's attitude was towards him and Yu Wei, what he couldn't tolerate was that Yu Zhen was openly flirting with other people.

They usually come to the training ground arm in arm, and during breaks they chat and laugh, occasionally whispering in each other's ears, looking very close.

Lin Gu couldn't stand it, so he deliberately picked on Yu Zhen. While everyone else was resting on the training field, he would pull Yu Zhen aside to a shady spot to continue training, preventing Yu Zhen from interacting with others. At the end of training, he would deliberately keep Yu Zhen for a few minutes, eliminating his chance to have lunch with others.

He was smug about his little trick, but Yu Zhen did something else that shocked him greatly: he confessed his feelings to him every night after training when everyone was relaxing together.

Although Yu Zhen explained that it was just a punishment for Truth or Dare, Lin Gu couldn't help but follow him into the restroom after the crowd dispersed.

"Instructor Lin, aren't you tired after following me all this way?" Yu Zhen leaned against the sink with one hand in his pocket, glancing sideways at Lin Gu.

"You said you'd wait for me to come back that day." Lin Gu stopped in front of Yu Zhen, looking down at his sunburnt, peeling face, and couldn't help but reach out and touch it. "Didn't you put on sunscreen?"

"Hiss..." Yu Zhen took a deep breath, rolled her eyes, and asked, "Is sunscreen effective in such a bright sun?"

"Your confession tonight..."

"I lost a truth or dare game, so what?" Yu Zhen licked his lips nonchalantly. The Alpha aura emanating from Lin Gu was too strong, making his legs feel weak.

"I took it seriously."

"What?"

Before Yu Zhen could react, he was forcefully pushed into the bathroom. The overwhelming scent of cold gardenias suffocated him, making it hard to breathe, and his glands throbbed wildly as if they had been injected with stimulants.

"How did you spend the two-month summer vacation, with three days of heat each month?"

"Find an Alpha, what else can we do?" Yu Zhen pushed the sturdy shoulder, but it didn't budge.

"You're lying."

Lin Gu grabbed Yu Zhen's arm and held it up to his eyes. Several bluish spots on the fair arm were particularly noticeable.

Yu Zhen turned her face away, her eyes darting around, "Just because I use inhibitors doesn't mean I haven't tried..."

"Who?" Lin Gu pinched Yu Zhen's chin, forcing him to look at him: "Who the hell did you find?"

"Looking for Mud Horse!"

Yu Zhen couldn't help but swear. She was already very sensitive because she was about to go into heat, and Lin Gu released so many pheromones, which made her irritable!

"Yu Zhen, tell me, am I your only Alpha?" Lin Gu's voice was already deep, but it became slightly hoarse with desire, making Yu Zhen's heart itch.

Yu Zhen couldn't help but hug Lin Gu's neck and kiss the corner of his lips: "No."

"Tell me, isn't that right?"

Lin Gu turned his head to avoid Yu Zhen's kiss. He was certain that Yu Zhen had not been with anyone else.

"No way! Can't you even move an inch?!" Hanging there, feeling utterly miserable, Yu Zhen retorted defiantly, her neck stiff with rage, "Don't think that just because we... you can boss me around..."

"Once?" Lin Gu pinched Yu Zhen's cheek. "Are you sure it's just once?"

"I do... um..." Yu Zhen bit her lip, lowered her eyes, and tears were about to fall but couldn't.

"Don't... push your luck!" Yu Zhen shoved Lin Gu, her back teeth almost grinding to powder. "If you're not good enough, then get the hell out of here. I can find someone else..."

“Change to someone else? Who do you want to change to? The antelope to the left and behind, or the dodder to the left, or the little Pallas’s cat who lives in the same dormitory as you?” Lin Gu raised an eyebrow, picked up Yu Zhen and sat him on the toilet, pinching his chin and coaxing him, “Tell me obediently, am I the first one?”

"Yes, but you're definitely not the last one!" Yu Zhen lowered her head and bit Lin Gu's shoulder hard, hugging him tightly. "Lin Gu, you idiot!"

Say it again!

"Lin Gu, you idiot!" Yu Zhen cried between sobs, her eyes closed. "Can't you see I fucking like you? Why are you with other people? Why would you rather hang out with those shady characters than look back at me?"

"You...you like me?" Lin Gu was stunned by his words. He could understand each word individually, but when put together, he was a little confused.

He wanted to ask again, but Yu Zhen stopped talking and just kept kissing him and demanding more.

"Lin Gu... Brother Lin... Look at me." Yu Zhen hugged Lin Gu and leaned against the thin partition. "If you don't look at me, I really can't hold on any longer."

He couldn't do what his brother Yu Wei did, spending more than ten years of his life chasing after a shadow that was far away.

"Zhenzhen, you don't need to keep insisting." Lin Gu picked up his clothes and helped him put them on, then kissed his forehead. "I like you too."

What's even happier than mutual love is when the person you secretly like also secretly likes you.
