Chapter 32 He is not him

Yu Wei was in a coma for three days. At first, Zhou Siyu was able to sit by his side and stay with him, but on the second night, she couldn't stay awake any longer and crawled into Yu Wei's bed. She intended to take a nap, but unexpectedly, she slept until the third night.

Zhou Siyu opened her eyes groggily and met a pair of dark eyes.

"You...you're awake..." Zhou Siyu took a slightly embarrassed step back, withdrawing her arm from Yu Wei. "I really didn't..."

"Go downstairs when you wake up."

The hoarse voice was devoid of any emotion. Yu Wei rolled out of bed and turned on the bedside lamp.

"What's wrong with you?" Zhou Siyu yawned and stretched out her arms and legs. "This is my room and my bed. Why should I get off?"

“You’re right.” Yu Wei unscrewed the bottle of mineral water on the table, took a sip, and moistened his parched throat. “This is your territory. I’m leaving.”

"Yu Wei, you stop right there!" Zhou Siyu sat up and scratched her hair. "What's wrong with you all of a sudden?"

Yu Wei didn't speak, but turned on all the lights. The bright light shone on his face, and Zhou Siyu turned his face away and squinted.

"Please look carefully, I am not him." Yu Wei turned around and looked at Zhou Siyu coldly. "You better not try to order me around."

"Are you not quite right in the head?" Zhou Siyu thought he was just still recovering, so she sighed, walked over to him, and tugged at his sleeve. "You're not recovered yet, rest a little longer..."

Before he could utter the last word, his hand was slapped down hard, and Yu Wei took a step back to create distance.

“You don’t need to pretend to be pitiful.” Yu Wei’s eyes were full of gloom. “President Zhou is very good at this self-directed and self-acted trick.”

"What...are you saying?" Zhou Siyu's heart skipped a beat, and she blinked innocently, "I don't understand."

"Is that so? Then let me explain it to you, Mr. Zhou." Yu Wei sneered and sat down in the chair. "First, you sent people everywhere to inquire about me, then you just happened to appear on the road you were supposed to pass by, and then you just happened to let me hear the sounds of fighting. Don't you think that's a coincidence, Mr. Zhou?"

"I was surprised too."

Zhou Siyu laughed awkwardly, saying that admitting it was impossible!

“You… are quite the actor. No wonder that idiot was completely fooled by you.” Yu Wei toyed with the amulet around his neck, the silver plaque gleaming coldly under the light.

“You’re not him.” Zhou Siyu took a few steps back warily. “A second personality, or the Ghost Hand Vine?”

"Him? You mean that idiot?" Yu Wei smiled and pointed to his head. "Of course I'm not him."

"What did you do to him?" Zhou Siyu's phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, like a venomous snake ready to attack at any moment, flicking its tongue.

"What can I do to him?" Yu Wei thought for a moment, resting his chin on his hand, then suddenly chuckled a few times. "Heh, what could I possibly do to him?"

Where is he?

"I don't know either." Yu Wei shrugged, speaking nonchalantly. "It should have disappeared completely by now."

"You're talking nonsense!"

Zhou Siyu grabbed a fruit knife from the coffee table and lunged at the person in the chair. Before she could get close, her wrist was caught by a golden vine, and the knife fell to the ground.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Yu Wei raised an eyebrow and manipulated the vines to lift Zhou Siyu's chin. "It is indeed beautiful."

"Pah!" Zhou Siyu turned her face away. "You damn octopus monster, let me go!"

"If you're so capable, retract your tentacles and fight me."

"Why?" Yu Wei crossed his arms. "What right do you have to fight me?"

"You'll know once you try."

Zhou Siyu curled her lips slightly, raised her other hand and punched Yu Wei in the face. Yu Wei couldn't dodge in time and took the punch head-on.

"You dare hit me!"

"That's exactly what I'm going to do."

Zhou Siyu kicked Yu Wei in the lower abdomen, and Yu Wei cried out in pain, quickly retracting his tentacles.

"So, are you qualified now?"

Zhou Siyu unbuttoned his shirt, took it off, and threw it on the ground. He twisted his neck, realizing it had been a long time since he had hit anyone.

“Interesting.” Yu Wei stood up, a hint of excitement flashing in his cold eyes. He prepared himself and beckoned to Zhou Siyu with his finger. “I’ll give you three moves.”

"Just fighting is too boring, there has to be some kind of prize, right?"

What do you want?

"I won, give him back to me."

What if you lose?

“Tell me where he is.”

"No matter how you look at it, I'm at a disadvantage." Yu Wei smiled. "How about this, if you win, he's yours; if I win, you're mine, how about that?"

"I will not lose."

Zhou Siyu launched an attack, which Yu Wei easily dodged. After three moves, Yu Wei began to counterattack. The two exchanged blows and both ended up with injuries.

Hearing the commotion, Zhou Yu and Yu Zhen anxiously called a waiter to open the door. Just as they were about to enter, Zhou Siyu stopped them.

"Don't come in!"

"Let's talk this out. How can you resort to fighting over a minor disagreement?" Zhou Yu patiently advised. "Fighting is not the way to solve problems. Haven't you heard? If you lose, you'll be in the hospital; if you win, you'll go to jail..."

"Why can't we talk things out? Don't believe in that 'fighting is a sign of affection,' it's all a lie. Fighting will ruin your relationship..."

Zhou Yu kept muttering to himself, and the two men who were fighting couldn't stand it anymore. They turned around together and said, "Shut up!"

They then exchanged a glance and said in unison, "Why are you copying me?"

After they finished speaking, the two fought even more fiercely.

“Uncle Zhou, can we stop trying to persuade them? They’re about to tear the house down…” Yu Zhen had just finished persuading them when he turned around and handed some money to the waiter, “Please go and buy some medicine for sprains and bruises, and some ice or something.”

The waiter wisely left quickly, afraid that staying even a second longer would bring trouble.
