Yu Zhen was so excited by Zhou Siyu's words that he was about to say something when the door was kicked open.

"Yu! Qin!"

Upon hearing Lin Gu's angry shout, Yu Zhen instinctively shrank back, but upon thinking of Lin Gu's actions, he instantly hardened up.

"What are you yelling for!" Yu Zhen slammed down his cup, shook his dazed head, and blurted out, "Dad's right here, my good son, why are you calling for my soul?"

Seeing that the two were about to start arguing, Zhou Siyu gave the others a wink, and they wisely left.

Glancing at Yu Wei, who had a dark expression behind Lin Gu, Zhou Siyu shrank back and silently slipped to his side.

"Have you been drinking?" Yu Wei sighed when he saw that his face was flushed and he smelled of smoke. "You took off your coat, it smells awful."

Zhou Siyu obediently took off her coat and placed it on the sofa by the door. She sniffed, looked at Yu Wei with teary eyes, and murmured, "Cold~"

"You actually feel cold?" Yu Wei rolled his eyes at Zhou Siyu, then took off his coat and draped it over him. "With all this smoke, you'd think you were having a barbecue in there. How could you be cold?"

"I feel cold." Zhou Siyu lowered her eyes, looking aggrieved, and twisted her fingers. "You were mean to me..."

"Tsk, can't we be reasonable for once?" Yu Wei rubbed Zhou Siyu's head and sighed. "You have no idea how worried I was about you coming out drinking so late at night."

"My head hurts so much." Zhou Siyu squinted, rubbing her temples, and leaned weakly on Yu Wei's shoulder, looking obedient and pitiful. "You even scolded me..."

"Alright, alright, I won't say anything more about you." Yu Wei pulled Zhou Siyu's coat tighter. "The hotel is booked. I'll take you there to rest first."

"Where are you going?" Zhou Siyu grabbed Yu Wei's sleeve, looking up at him. "Aren't you staying with me tonight?"

"I'll buy you some hangover medicine." Yu Wei sighed and pinched Zhou Siyu's cheek. "Otherwise, you'll be in trouble tomorrow."

After saying that, he looked up at Lin Gu and said, "I'll take Si Yu back first."

Lin Gu nodded. These two are showing off their love every day. I can't stand it, I really can't stand it!

“Speak properly.” Yu Wei, still worried, walked up to Lin Gu and warned, “If you dare to hit him, I’ll beat you to death.”

"Got it." Lin Gu patted Yu Wei on the shoulder. "Be careful on the road."

Yu Wei nodded and pulled Zhou Siyu away.

"Come with me."

Lin Gu stepped forward to pull Yu Zhen, but Yu Zhen broke free.

"The wine isn't finished yet, if you want to leave, you can leave yourself." Yu Zhen sat back on the sofa, opened a bottle of wine, and stood up unsteadily, handing it to Lin Gu, "Here... since you're here, have a drink?"

"Drink my ass!" Lin Gu slapped Yu Zhen's hand away, stepped forward and hugged him, "Come back with me, there's so much wine at home, you can drink as much as you want."

"Get lost!" Yu Zhen shoved Lin Gu aside, slumped onto the sofa, downed the bottle of wine in one gulp, and, hiccuping, said with a wronged tone, "That...isn't my home..."

"Zhenzhen, stop fooling around and come back with me."

Lin Gu sighed. If the bar owner hadn't contacted him, he wouldn't have known that Yu Zhen had come here.

"Haha, home? Where do I have a home?" Yu Zhen seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world. She pushed Lin Gu away, staggered to her feet, and reached for the wine. "That's your home, not mine..."

"I...have no home..."

"Zhenzhen, that's your home. Come back with me, okay?"

The desolation in Yu Zhen's eyes stung Lin Gu, who didn't know what to say for a moment. He could only take out some hangover medicine from his pocket and give it to Yu Zhen.

It's not a good feeling to live under someone else's roof. Although the Yu family treats Yu Zhen very well, they are not real relatives, so there is still some distance between them.

“You’re wrong, Lin Gu.” Yu Zhen swallowed the medicine and said with a smile, “That’s your home, it has nothing to do with me.”

That was Lin Gu's house, where his son, who saw him as an enemy, lived, along with someone who wanted to drive him away. Compared to them, they seemed more like a warm and loving family, while he was just an outsider.

"Zhenzhen, you've really misunderstood." Lin Gu snatched the wine from his hand. "I've told you before, he and I are just friends, and I only see him as a younger brother."

"Do you believe that?" Yu Zhen leaned back on the sofa, half-opening her eyelids, and smiled as she looked at the fleeting hesitation on Lin Gu's face: "Look, even you don't believe it yourself."

"I really only see him as a younger brother, you have to believe me." Lin Gu pursed his lips, squatted down and looked at Yu Zhen, "Come back with me, stop making trouble."

"Believe you?" Yu Zhen sneered, her red lips parting slightly: "Believe a dog instead."

"Are you deliberately making a scene?" Lin Gu sat down on the coffee table, looking down at Yu Zhen. "I have limited patience. This is the last time. Come back with me."

"Hmm... how could it not be?" Yu Zhen looked at Lin Gu lazily. "If you have limited patience, then get lost."

“Go back and hug Cen Jin, tell him you love him, and promise him a lifetime together.”

"Go tell your cronies that you only married me to gain the Yu family's support and to pave your way to a smooth career!"

Who told you that?

Lin Gu's aura instantly turned cold. Who was spreading these rumors? When did he ever say such things?

"Guess." Yu Zhen tilted her head and smiled brightly at Lin Gu, but what she said made Lin Gu instantly fall into an ice cellar: "Lin Gu, I don't love you anymore."

He was tired and didn't want to get involved in Lin Gu's mess anymore.

"Zhenzhen, I really didn't say those words, I swear!" Lin Gu pointed four fingers at the lamp, "If I did say them, this lamp will go out right now."

As soon as he finished speaking, the light above his head flickered and then went out.

The air fell silent, a deathly stillness, so still that only breathing and heartbeats could be heard.
