In the unknown century of Guangyuan, the unnamed galaxy achieved unification. To address population issues, a marriage matching system was developed, forcibly pairing people through data calculatio...
"Marshal Yu, oh no, I should call you Commander Yu now." Chu Sheng, with his hands behind his back, looked down at Yu Zhen, who was being pinned to the ground, and smiled smugly: "Long time no see."
"I was wondering why President Chu hadn't shown up yet; turns out he was waiting for me here."
Yu Zhen glanced at Chu Sheng, then at Zhou Qi, and finally fixed her gaze on Zhou Sijue: "This gift of yours is far too precious."
"Uncle Yu, please forgive me."
Zhou Sijue lowered her eyes, avoiding Yu Zhen's sharp gaze.
“Commander Yu has a lot of influence; he has avoided meeting me despite my invitations several times.” Chu Sheng bent down, squinted at Yu Zhen, and then smiled: “Yun Mu has a lot of influence; it is thanks to you that I have the honor of trotting here.”
“That’s right. It’s our own son’s wedding. How could we not come?” Yu Zhen shook off the people behind him, stood up, straightened his clothes, took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, took a puff, and held it in his hand: “I didn’t expect President Chu and President Zhou to make such a big fuss to welcome me. I feel a little embarrassed.”
"Let me guess what you want."
Yu Zhen flicked his cigarette ash, took a drag, slowly exhaled a smoke ring, and smiled slightly: "The army? Armory? Military factory? Weapon research institute?"
"Besides these, I don't seem to have anything else that would make you two go to such lengths."
"Since you know that, stop talking nonsense and hand over the stuff, and I'll give you a quick death."
The cold muzzle of the gun was pressed against his forehead, but there was no fear in Yu Zhen's eyes. He was grown up, not easily frightened. This little trick was not enough.
"You can't say that."
Yu Zhen flicked his cigarette ash, kicked Chu Sheng in the knee, snatched the pistol and held it to Chu Sheng's forehead, raising an eyebrow slightly, "Too lame."
Countless red dots instantly illuminated Yu Zhen's face. Yu Zhen raised her hand to shield herself and squinted slightly.
“We’re surrounded. Not even a fly can get out.” Zhou Qi, who was sitting to the side, slowly got up, walked around Yu Zhen, and put his hand on the gun: “Brother Yu, why don’t you hand over the stuff to me? I guarantee you’ll leave unharmed.”
"You two aren't in cahoots?" Yu Zhen pretended to suddenly realize something, then slapped the back of her head: "You should have said so earlier, otherwise I would have been misunderstood for so long."
Yu Zhen lowered her eyes: "Xiao Qi, if you were also on Chu Sheng's side, I would be very sad."
“Brother Yu is joking. There are no friends forever.” Zhou Qi remained unmoved by Yu Zhen’s sadness. “However, out of consideration for our past relationship, I won’t do anything to you.”
"Of course, the premise is that you have enough to buy your life."
“My life?” Yu Zhen raised an eyebrow and sighed regretfully. “My life is worthless; I’m afraid it won’t be enough to buy what you want.”
"Brother Yu is so heroic, I admire him." Zhou Qi released his grip on the gun, took a step back, waved his hand, and the sound of guns being cocked filled the air. "In that case, I'll have to call Xiao Ling to collect Brother Yu's body."
"Hey, thanks. You're a really nice guy."
Yu Zhen put down his gun, turned on his communicator in front of everyone, brought up the control panel, and his fingers flew across the keyboard.
"Transfer of command authority for the military has been successful..."
"Armory access transfer successful..."
"The transfer of Level 1 management authority for the Allied Forces Weapons Research and Development Institute has been successful..."
"Transfer of weapons manufacturing approval authority successful..."
"Permission transfer successful..."
"Transfer successful..."
"success……"
"..."
Hearing the constantly ringing electronic voices, Zhou Qi and Chu Sheng turned green with anger, but there was nothing they could do to stop it. Yu Zhen had selected all the options to transfer at once, and once the program started, it was impossible to stop unless the permissions were completely transferred.
"What should I do? I have nothing left."
Yu Zhen shrugged, handed the loaded gun to Zhou Qi, pulled his hand, and pointed the gun at himself.
“Shoot, I taught you.”
His black eyes showed neither sadness nor joy, but rather a hint of nonchalance and relief, and even a sense of liberation.
"Damn it! Bastard! Kill him!"
Chu Sheng knelt on one knee, clutching his knee as he got up, only to be kicked in the leg by Yu Zhen.
"What business is it of yours how we talk?" He then turned around and smiled, "For the sake of our past relationship, wouldn't it be too much to just give me a quick death?"
For a moment, Zhou Qi was lost in thought, as if he saw the boy walking towards him with a smile in the sunlight.
"Zhou Qi, damn it, kill him!"
Chu Sheng wailed, clutching his knee, trying his best but still unable to stand up.
"Stop struggling, okay?" Yu Zhen turned around helplessly, pulled Chu Sheng up from the ground and threw him into Zhou Sijue's arms: "This leg can't be saved, Sijue, take your Uncle Chu to see him, don't keep getting in the way of me catching up with your dad."
"Yu Zhen! I won't let you get away with this! I'm not done with you yet..."
"Wait for the next life. You probably won't have a chance to cause me trouble in this one." Yu Zhen shrugged, turned around, and grasped Zhou Qi's trembling hand. "With your hands shaking like this, how can you hit anyone?"
"With your hands shaking like that, how can you possibly hit anyone? Come on, let me teach you." The boy in black hugged him from behind, gently held his hand, raised the gun, and aimed at the target in front of him. "Relax, don't be nervous."
He turned his head and stared blankly at the boy. Sunlight slanted through the gaps and fell on his face, making the boy's features even clearer.
"Focus, don't get distracted." The boy gently patted his head, his calloused hand gripping his tightly again, and raised his eyes to look straight ahead: "Aim carefully."
"Bang!"
The bullet grazed Yu Zhen's cheek. Yu Zhen opened her eyes and frowned slightly. "How could you miss like that?"
"Shut up!" Zhou Qi closed his eyes weakly, his hand holding the gun slowly falling to his sides, then quickly raised it again, aiming at Yu Zhen's head: "You really think I wouldn't dare kill you? Let me tell you, I hate you!"
