Chapter 90 Hi, General

"You're only a month older than me, how come you live like an old person?"

Lin Gu smiled, patted Yu Wei on the shoulder, and looked at him seriously, saying, "If that day ever comes, I hope you can take good care of Zhenzhen and Nianyu for me."

"What nonsense are you talking about? With me here, I won't let you die."

"With your words, I am content for this life." Lin Gu hooked his arm around Yu Wei's neck. "Come on, let's go outside for a walk and make room for the medical team."

He could sense that Yu Wei was in low spirits; in the past, he would have dragged him somewhere to celebrate.

"General Yu, General Lin, the casualty statistics are in."

A soldier handed a laptop to Yu Wei, glanced at Lin Gu, and hesitated before speaking.

"Is there a special situation?"

“No.” The soldier shook his head, his gaze shifting between Lin Gu and Yu Wei. “This mission was rated B, but the casualties were heavy, more than double the estimated number.”

Yu Wei lowered his eyes and frantically swiped the screen. A familiar name flashed by, but Yu Wei quickly swiped back, zooming in on the name repeatedly to confirm it.

"Yang Lie, number, deceased."

The large red characters were shocking. Yu Wei, as if burned, threw the computer to Lin Gu and ran away quickly.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"Let him go."

Lin Gu wanted to chase after them, but was stopped by someone. He turned around and saw people who shouldn't be there.

"Wow, Zhou Siyu, when did you get here?" Lin Gu walked past Zhou Siyu, looked at the person behind him, and his eyes widened instantly. He ran over in surprise: "Yun Mu!"

"Oh my, what brings you here?" Lin Gu circled around Chu Yunmu like a puppy seeing its owner, wanting to reach out and touch him, yet also a little afraid. "I'm so sorry I couldn't attend your wedding..."

"It's nothing," Chu Yunmu said with a smile, shaking his head. "It's not over yet."

"Huh? What the heck?"

Lin Gu looked at Zhou Siyu, hoping to find the answer from him.

“The situation is complicated, I’ll tell you later.” Zhou Siyu rummaged through her bag and handed Lin Gu a letter with sealing wax on it. “Uncle Yu and Uncle Lin asked me to give this to you.”

Looking at the bright red seal, Lin Gu subconsciously glanced at Zhou Siyu. Zhou Siyu thought he suspected him. "Don't worry, I haven't seen it. I have no interest in your stuff at all."

He had no interest in the military or their documents; the only thing he was interested in was Yu Wei, who belonged to the military.

"Take your time looking at it, I'm going to find him." Zhou Siyu muttered, his hands behind his back, "He's probably crying, he should have cried enough by now."

"Go ahead, go ahead, Yunmu will stay here."

Lin Gu waved his hand, put away the letter, and pulled Chu Yunmu to sit down.

Yu Wei didn't know how far or how long he ran, until he got tired and slowly stopped, walking aimlessly along the road with his head down.

When I got tired, I would just find a chair to sit on and stare blankly at the sky, which was dyed red by the setting sun.

His mind was in a mess. He didn't know what to do or where to go. He just wanted to find a quiet place and sit there.

Seeing the lonely figure in the distance, Zhou Siyu slowly folded her wings and wrapped them around Yu Wei's neck from behind.

"Hey, General, are you crying?"

"Wow!"

"hiss……"

Yu Wei was so startled that he jumped up and bumped his head right into Zhou Siyu's chin, which hurt so much that tears almost came out of his eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

Yu Wei frantically reached out his hand, then quickly withdrew it, standing there helplessly.

"He's so easily startled; he doesn't seem like someone who's about to become a father at all."

Zhou Siyu rubbed her chin, sat down with her hands on the back of the chair, and patted the empty seat next to her.

"Huh?" Yu Wei couldn't believe it. He squatted down in front of Zhou Siyu, his joy overflowing. "Is...it's confirmed?"

"Yeah, it's been almost a month." Zhou Siyu rested her chin on Yu Wei's shoulder and sighed softly, "It's all your fault, I haven't been sleeping well lately."

“We’ve only been apart for half a month… how could this be…” Yu Wei placed his hand on Zhou Siyu’s stomach and chuckled foolishly, “But as long as it’s yours, I like it.”

"Take your hand away, this child isn't yours." Zhou Siyu slapped Yu Wei's hand away, and seeing his silly look, angrily pinched his cheek: "It really isn't yours, I just came to let you know..."

"I don't care, you're mine as long as you're in my belly." Yu Wei held Zhou Siyu's hand, slowly got up, hugged him in his arms, and whispered, "I like anything that's yours."

"Silly boy." Zhou Siyu sighed helplessly and poked his arm. "I was just kidding. Based on the timeline, it was probably during the incident at the castle on the eighteenth planet."

Although Yu Wei didn't mind, he didn't want this small matter to become a rift between them, because even a small rift would eventually grow bigger.

"real?"

Yu Wei was overjoyed and hugged Zhou Siyu tightly, kissing him wildly as if afraid he would fly away.

"The doctor said that we can't go overboard like last time until the baby is eight months old. Luckily, the little guy is strong, otherwise you would have sent him back home long ago."

Mentioning this made Zhou Siyu angry, but then he thought about it and realized that he was always the one taking the initiative, so his arrogance immediately diminished.

"No, no, I promise I won't touch you." Yu Wei raised four fingers and swore to the heavens.

“But…” Zhou Siyu buried her head in Yu Wei’s arms and said in a muffled voice, “I like it when you touch me.”

"Bear with it." Yu Wei gently stroked his hair, then thought for a moment, "Or should I be gentler?"

High-ranking Omegas are the opposite of Alphas; their glands are more active, their needs are stronger, and they experience more frequent periods of high fertility after finding a partner.
