Ma Hua never expected that just after transmigrating, he would be beaten by Idiot Zhu for speaking ill of Qin Huairu, and then be called by Idiot Zhu to take the blame for him. Why should he?
When Ma Hua returned home, he found his mother staring blankly into space. Puzzled, Ma Hua's mother wiped away tears from her eyes and said, "Oh, Xiao Hua's back. I've already prepared your bedding and everything; you can move in now."
"Oh," Ma Hua nodded, only then realizing that his mother had been watching his things. Ma Hua picked up the things his mother had packed and went out.
When Ma Hua returned home, his mother was cooking. Ma Hua immediately went up to her and said, "Mom, let me cook."
"Okay, let me try Xiaohua's cooking again." Upon hearing this, her mother immediately moved aside from the stove. Ma Hua quickly prepared a table full of dishes. Ma Hua knew in her heart that her mother was preparing a farewell dinner; once she moved, she would definitely come back less often.
After all, my job involves overtime, and if I work overtime, how can I possibly come home for dinner every day? Saying that it's convenient to ride a bike home is just a lie. No wonder my mother prepares so many dishes.
When Ma Hua brought the last dish to the table, his mother poured everyone a glass of wine, saying, "Come on, let's raise a glass to thank Xiao Hua for making such a sumptuous meal for us."
Ma Hua's nose tingled with emotion. What a feast! Stir-fried green peppers with pork, stir-fried cabbage, hot and sour shredded potatoes, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes. To outsiders, it certainly seemed like a lavish meal. She knew she had to hurry; at least she needed to improve her family's meals.
The attentive sister-in-law noticed Ma Hua's slightly red eyes and quickly said, "Hey, look, Mom always cooked before, and now it's Xiao Hua's turn. Look at me, I haven't been able to help at all." After saying that, she glared at her brother-in-law.
The older brother quickly said, "Alright, alright, we're all family. Let's not say so much, let's drink."
After finishing his drink, the father suddenly said, "Xiaohua, since you're moving out, you need to be careful. If anything goes wrong, come home, understand? And..."
Seeing that her father was about to say something more, her mother suddenly scolded, "What else is there? Can't you eat properly?" She was already heartbroken enough. Her son, whom she had raised for more than ten years, was moving out and she wouldn't be able to see him every day. And you, old man, still have to keep talking. Aren't you annoying?
"Mom, I'm just moving out, not becoming a live-in son-in-law. I have a car now, right? I'll come back whenever I have time," Ma Hua quickly reassured her. Sigh, she had to hurry up and move for her parents' sake; they weren't young anymore.
After the meal, Ma Hua lay on his bed, unable to fall asleep for a long time. Ma Ziming, who was on the upper bunk, was still playing around without a care in the world. Kids are so nice; you don't have to think about so much.
Nothing happened that night. When Ma Hua woke up the next morning, his mother was already cooking. Seeing that Ma Hua was up, she immediately said, "Xiao Hua, why don't you eat before you leave?"
After Ma Hua finished eating, his mother stared blankly at his retreating figure as he rode off on his bicycle. Seeing this, his father quickly came over and put his arms around her, saying, "Children grow up and eventually need to have their own lives."
"I'm so afraid he'll end up like the second son, waaaaah!"

Meanwhile, Ma Hua was leisurely riding his bicycle to the steel mill. When he arrived at the factory gate, an acquaintance immediately joked, "Master Ma, you're doing well, even riding a bicycle!"
After exchanging pleasantries along the way, MCA parked the car in the bicycle shed, locked it, and then headed to the canteen.
It was still early, and by the time Ma Hua got hot water from the water dispenser, no one else had come to the canteen yet. Ma Hua sat down to sip tea, his body on the table, but his mind was already on the crops planted in the courtyard.
Looking at the lush green wheat fields, Ma Hua was overjoyed. Soon he wouldn't have to worry about food anymore.
As soon as Liu Lan entered the kitchen, she saw Ma Hua sitting in a chair, grinning foolishly, and immediately called out, "Ma Hua, what are you grinning about?"
Ma Hua then realized what was happening: "Good morning, Sister Lan."
"What do you mean 'early'? You're always the first one here every day. What are you grinning about? I heard as soon as I started working at the factory that you already have a bicycle," Liu Lan said with a hint of envy.
"Isn't this because we're moving? My family bought it for me. Sister Lan, you know, my home is really too far from the factory," Ma Hua said modestly.
"Alright, then we should celebrate properly. But you're doing pretty well now, kid. You have a car, a house, and money. All you're missing is a wife. Do you want one? I, Sister Lan, can introduce you to someone," Liu Lan teased. She hadn't expected that Ma Hua, who had been so quiet all along, was now a perfect catch.
"Sure, find me ten or eight like Sister Lan, I wouldn't mind having too many," Ma Hua joked quickly.
"Go to hell, you little brat," Liu Lan rolled her eyes at Ma Hua.
"Hehe, Sister Lan, you'll have to put in some effort. Here, have a piece of candy to sweeten your mouth," Ma Hua quickly flattered.
"Oh, we heard that! We want some sweet treats too!" The kitchen helper at the door chimed in.
"Yes, yes, we have them all," Ma Hua hurriedly pulled a handful of candy from her pocket, smiling. She had prepared it all along. As her mother always said, maintaining good relationships with colleagues is very important.
"Alright, the aunties will definitely introduce you to someone suitable later." They're beholden to your kindness, and since the aunties made that promise in front of Ma Hua, we'll see whether they actually introduce you or not later.
Sha Zhu, standing at the kitchen door, was furious, practically livid. He'd worked there for so many years, and none of these people had offered to introduce him to anyone. What was going on?
