"My sister is going to ruin you," Lin Lanlan said seriously to Shen Qiaoyue.

Shen Qiaoyue was surprised.

“My sister used to like Brother Lu Chen, but because Brother Lu Chen didn’t like her, and you married Brother Lu Chen, my sister doesn’t want you to have a good life,” Lin Lanlan added.

She spoke of it all with a calm look in her eyes.

Shen Qiaoyue asked again, "Then why did you do this? She's your sister."

Why should Lin Lanlan help her? If Lin Yaya and her family found out, Lin Lanlan probably wouldn't be able to survive.

"My sister is very bad. She hits and curses people." Lin Lanlan said with red eyes from crying, "My parents are the same. They don't like me. Brother Lu Chen is very good to me. You are Brother Lu Chen's wife. I want to help you."

Lin Lanlan knew that if her sister really ruined her sister-in-law, her brother Lu Chen would be very upset.

Shen Qiaoyue looked at these letters.

Lin Lanlan placed the object directly into Shen Qiaoyue's arms and left.

"Lanlan!" Shen Qiaoyue could hardly believe that Lin Lanlan would help her like this.

“But Lin Lanlan has already taken these letters. Lin Yaya will find out soon, and she will definitely contact Yang Qingshan again,” Lu Chen added.

Lin Yaya was very clever; she kept these letters to blackmail Yang Qingshan.

"Wife, I won't allow anyone to hurt you." Lu Chen comforted Shen Qiaoyue, holding her hand.

Lu Chen found out about this, and it's good that the two of them are facing it together.

Lin Lanlan suddenly presented the evidence to her, which truly surprised Shen Qiaoyue.

Shen Qiaoyue went to get the letter that Yang Qingshan had written.

He had already put on his coat and was about to go out.

Lu Chen smiled at Shen Qiaoyue and said, "Yes, I'll be back soon. Cover yourself with an extra blanket so you don't catch a cold."

Shen Qiaoyue blushed and nodded shyly.

Lu Chen went out the door.

Shen Qiaoyue watched Lu Chen leave.

She stood there in a daze for a moment, feeling quite good about being protected.

She leisurely returned to her room, grabbed her pajamas, and went to take a shower.

After washing up and applying face cream, I knitted a scarf in my room, thinking of making one for Lu He.

They bought four colors. Lu Chen got black, Lu He got pink, and Shen Qiaoyue chose pink, since they're girls after all.

Shen Qiaoyue likes purple.

So she'll knit it for Lu He first, and it should be finished by tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Lu Chen took the evidence and went straight back to his unit to find his superiors.

Commander Liu looked at the evidence and then at Lu Chen, asking, "Is Qiaoyue alright?"

Commander Liu had always known that Shen Qiaoyue did not like Lu Chen.

His childhood sweetheart wrote a letter to Shen Qiaoyue, but he was actually having some doubts.

Did Lu Chen see Shen Qiaoyue writing a love letter?

"Commander, you don't think my wife is having an affair with Yang Qingshan, do you?" Lu Chen couldn't help but ask, seeing Commander Liu's expression.
