The year isn't the 80s! Su Yan, a base owner from 2048, dozed off while driving and woke up transmigrated to 1961. She became the infatuated, delicate, and ungrateful Su Yan who was leveraging ...

Chapter 132 Lu Jin is unwilling to talk about dating

Su Yan and Lu Jin didn't go home for two weeks after school started, so they decided to go home this Saturday.

Seeing Lu Jin waiting for Su Yan downstairs, He Lina ran over with a smile, "Lu Jin, are you waiting for Su Yan to go back together? I heard that you live in the same military compound."

Lu Jin nodded and ignored He Lina. Seeing this was a rare opportunity, He Lina continued, "Classmate Lu Jin, Su Yan lives next door to me and we have a very good relationship. I see that you don't have many friends in the class. How about the three of us become friends?"

Lu Jin was a little annoyed. He didn't know why this female classmate always talked to him. When she was in the classroom, she always came to borrow things from his sister-in-law, either ink or notes.

In fact, the sister-in-law has always been lukewarm towards her, and it is hard to tell that they are good friends. Why does she say that?

Is he her target?

It was impossible for him to find a partner who was good at hanging out with gay men and had no sense of boundaries. Besides, she was not good-looking. What if they got married and gave birth to a little black bear?

"Lu Jin, let's go!"

As soon as Su Yan went downstairs, she saw He Lina staring at Lu Jin as if she was staring at a bowl of fat meat, grinning so hard that her saliva was dripping from her mouth.

"Su Yan, you're down. Classmate Lu Jin has been waiting for you downstairs for a long time."

"Oh, let's go!"

Su Yan ignored He Lina. If she replied to her, she would definitely ask to go back to the military compound with them.

The night before, she deliberately said in the dormitory that she would invite her classmates to visit their Northeast China during the winter vacation. However, no matter how eloquent she spoke, no one agreed with her.

Not to mention the train tickets, even if they didn't need the tickets, it would be impossible for them to go to Northeast China for fun.

It is even more impossible for Su Yan to go. With her calculating character, she might be sold into a remote mountain area. Only a fool would go home with her.

Su Yan knew the real purpose of her saying this. She also knew that it was impossible for her classmates to come to her house to play. The reason she said this was that she hoped that her classmates in Beijing would invite her to visit.

They had only known each other for three weeks, and He Lina was a stranger to her. It was impossible for Su Yan to bring a stranger home.

Lu Jin and Su Yan walked slowly to the bus stop. Lu Jin asked Su Yan, "Sister-in-law, are you friends with He Lina?"

"No, she said that she and I are friends, right? Actually, we are just ordinary classmates."

"Then she comes to borrow your notes every day."

"She actually wants to find you as her partner."

Lu Jin was frightened by Su Yan's words, "Sister-in-law, please don't match us up. I don't have any interest in her at all."

"Don't worry, I have no interest in her at all, and I don't want to be her sister-in-law. I'm afraid that if we become sisters-in-law, she will become close to your eldest brother. Haven't you noticed that she gets along well with Nan in the class because of her good physical fitness?"

"Sister-in-law, my brother won't get along with her."

"Lu Jin, you're already twenty, don't you want to find a partner?"

"Sister-in-law, you also know that the school has rules that you can't date in school."

"You can find someone outside of school. Or you can ask a matchmaker to introduce you to someone. Then you can tell the class that you have a partner, and He Lina will definitely stop pestering you."

Lu Jin wasn't interested in the conversation for the time being, so he quickly changed the subject. "Sister-in-law, do you think those mummies in our autopsy room are really the nameless corpses of those who died of starvation during the famine?"

"Maybe. You know how feudal people are these days. In their eyes, if someone dies and isn't buried, they'll never be reincarnated. How could they allow their own family members to be dissected?"

Unless the person is a medical researcher who voluntarily donates his body before dying in order to contribute to the medical research of his motherland.

"Where do the ducks and rabbits we dissected go?"

"Don't worry, those animals weren't injected with drugs. At most, they were given some saline solution, which was still edible. They were eventually sent to the canteen, and we don't know whose stomachs they ended up in."

“No wonder the duck in the cafeteria isn’t very tasty.”

"That's because the chef is reluctant to use more ingredients. Come to our house for dinner tonight and I'll make you beer duck. I'll also invite my parents over."

"Sister-in-law, don't you have ducks at home?"

"If you want to eat, I can ask your brother to buy it. Okay, the car is here, let's get in quickly."

"Sister-in-law, let me help you carry your luggage bag. You get in the car first."

It was almost three o'clock when the two returned to the military compound. Su Yan returned home, but Lu Jin was out for training and was not at home.

As soon as Su Yan came back, she took off the thin sheets and pillowcases covering the bed and put them into the washing machine in the space, and cleaned the house inside and out.

In fact, the house is quite clean. Su Yan has a slight obsession with cleanliness, and she can only live in peace after cleaning.

After cleaning, she opened the cupboard to see if there was anything missing in the house. There was only one pound of oil left in the oil barrel, so she took out another barrel from the space.

She took out twenty pounds of rice and flour, opened the lid of the jar, and saw that there were only seven or eight salted duck eggs inside. So she quickly took out all the salted duck eggs in the jar, and took out forty fresh duck eggs from the space and put them in to continue pickling.

Su Yan closed the door and entered the space. She hadn't been in the space for more than 20 days, and she found that more than a dozen tangerine trees had turned yellow.

How could they possibly finish all these tangerines? They'd need a lot of sugar to can them, and Su Yan didn't want to waste any more sugar. Forget it, she decided to pick them all and store them in the warehouse.

In fact, tangerines are not very valuable in the countryside. No one wants the sour ones that cost only a few cents per pound. However, the tangerines grown by Su Yan are not ordinary tangerines.
