Thank you for reading this!

Unlike the fast-paced novels I wrote before, this book is undoubtedly quite slow-paced. Before I started reading, I thought 200,000 words were enough to pave the way for the slow-paced parts, but now it seems that this is just the beginning.

In the past, the books I wrote were the kind that you could read the first 10 or 20 chapters and see the end of the whole book at a glance. You could completely guess what would be written later because they were all very clichéd.

Although it helps to mobilize everyone's emotions early on, this type of book also has a serious problem. Generally, when it reaches 200,000 or 300,000 words, it will enter a serious "lifeless" state and fall into the quagmire of repeated self-slaps. It feels like driving screws in an electronics factory. If you are not happy yourself, how can the story be interesting?

Because I didn't want to be drawn into the endlessly pretentious, repetitive "novice-level" writing, I spent a long time preparing for the book, creating a relatively complete worldview. As a result, the book's outline is quite clear: the ending, what's in between, and even the foreshadowing set-ups are all clearly explained. There aren't any unresolved issues, so you can rest assured.

There's just too much groundwork in the beginning, and it might take 400,000 or 500,000 words before the stage is set and the real story can begin. It should be much more interesting, at least not as bland as it is now.

——If it opens low at the beginning, it will have to go high at the end.

I will not find excuses to stop writing this book. Regardless of whether the performance is good or bad, I will definitely finish it. A conservative estimate is that it will be at least 2 million words. My personal expectation is 3 million words, which is the longest book I have ever written.

It will be on the shelves tomorrow. I hope everyone can support and place the first order if they are able.

Of course, what I hope more is that no matter you choose to keep reading or give up and wait and see, I hope to see you all again in the comment section on the day when the book is completed.
