Wasn't Chapter 370 exciting?

Chu Wuyang reacted quickly, grabbing Jing Min and snatching the incessantly ringing phone from his hand before he could react.

She looked up, her eyes sharp and warning.

"Don't act impulsively."

Jing Min didn't move, staring at her with deep, dark eyes for a few seconds.

Suddenly calmed down, a half-smile playing on his lips.

Instead, he sat back on the bed, quietly watching her like a wild beast waiting for its prey to turn back.

Chu Wuyang sat down, holding her phone, took a deep breath, and tapped the screen to light it up.

He answered the phone in front of Jingmin.

"Shh, don't talk."

She warned him in a low, tense voice.

The moment the call connected, Jingmin pressed himself against him like he was caught off guard.

He pulled her into his arms, lowered his head, pressed his ear against hers, and breathed softly yet hotly.

It was as if he was intentionally provoking every nerve in her body.

Chu Wuyang froze instinctively.

"Hey... Ah Jin, you were looking for me?"

She gritted her teeth and answered, trying her best to keep her tone steady.

On the other end of the phone, Yang Jinchu finally stopped arguing with Li Yan, her voice filled with anxiety.

"Yangyang? Are you alright?"

"Open the door so I can see if you're alright."

Chu Wuyang pursed her lips.

She glanced sideways at the man who was deliberately causing trouble, not daring to make any big movements, afraid that Yang Jinchu would notice something amiss.

I could only carefully move my head to the side, trying to create some distance.

But Jingmin clung to her, as if following her movements, refusing to move away at all.

Left with no other option, she stuck out a finger and poked his forehead, trying to push him away.

Jing Min simply raised an eyebrow and buried his head even deeper, making her earlobes burn.

Yang Jinchu, on the other end of the phone, started to get anxious again when no one answered.

"Yangyang, what's wrong?"

"Did Jingmin do something to you? Don't be afraid, I'll find someone right away—"

Chu Wuyang was afraid that Yang Jinchu would really go to find someone and that things would escalate, so she quickly spoke up.

"What? Ah Jin, what did you just say?"

"The signal was bad just now."

"I'm fine, I'm eating out."

Jing Min suddenly chuckled softly, his warm breath brushing against her ear.

It made her tremble slightly.

She instinctively raised her hand to cover the receiver and glared at him.

Jingmin thought she was incredibly cute and leaned in to kiss her, but Chu Wuyang dodged him.

Yang Jinchu was clearly stunned for a few seconds before asking again.

"Eating? Where are you eating? It's so late, don't stay out here, come back quickly."

Chu Wuyang rolled her eyes, her tongue almost tied in knots, and stammered,

"It's...that old porridge shop in the west of the city."

Even she herself felt that this flimsy reason was untenable.

Worse still, Jing Min's lips lingered casually near her ear, sometimes gently biting her earlobe, sometimes whispering a hum that sounded like a laugh, a malicious entanglement.

Her mind was in complete disarray, and she had no energy left to lie.

"West of the city? Which old porridge shop?"

"It's... my favorite... Chen's Congee Shop? You know, that's the only place I like."

There was a moment of silence on the phone.

"Then, when will you be back?" Yang Jinchu asked again.

"I……"

Just as she was about to answer, Jing Min suddenly lowered his head and bit her earlobe. The bite wasn't hard, but it was very provocative.

"ah--"

She let out a soft cry and nearly threw her phone away.

There was silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds, and then the atmosphere suddenly froze.

She quickly tried to appear calm.

"Soon...right away. You should rest first. It's still early, sleep a little longer."

"I'll bring you breakfast when it gets light,"

Yang Jinchu was silent for a moment, then his tone became cautious.

"Then I'll wait for you. Come back soon after you finish eating."

"Okay—" Before she could finish speaking, Jing Min snatched the phone away and hung up decisively.

The next second, he leaned down and kissed her neck, the movement urgent yet with an almost punitive force.

"soon?"

He chuckled coldly and whispered against her neck,

"What's wrong? Have I disappointed you too much usually? Or are you in such a hurry to see him?"

Chu Wuyang was so overwhelmed by his pressure that she could hardly breathe. She quickly pushed him away and said angrily.

"You'd better stop now!"

Jingmin was pushed back onto the bed by her, but he immediately propped himself up and pressed himself against her, his eyes smiling and his voice low and husky.

"I haven't even started, so how can there be a 'stop'?"

Chu Wuyang ignored him and turned to tidy her disheveled clothes.

He didn't stop her, but simply leaned against the headboard, his fingers lazily resting on his knees.

That look in his eyes was as if he were watching an absurd "play".

At the beginning of the dance, Yang fire surged within him.

"why are you laughing?"

Jingmin smiled meaningfully.

"I was thinking, so this is what it feels like to have an affair."

He paused, his eyes suddenly turning cold, his voice becoming so low it was almost inaudible.

"Did you lie to me like this when you were in his bed?"

Chu Wuyang was so angry she almost exploded, and grabbed a pillow to throw at him—

"Jing! Min!!"

Jing Min lazily dodged, but a glint of crazy triumph flashed in his eyes.

Chu Wuyang was too lazy to waste words with him. She had already tidied her clothes and was ready to go out.

It had quieted down outside; it seemed Yang Jinchu had already returned to his ward.

This is so annoying! One lie leads to countless more to cover it up. She still has to go buy porridge for Yang Jinchu in a bit.

Seeing that she was about to leave but then changed her mind, Jingmin quickly grabbed her.

Where to?

Let go!

Jingmin persisted, teasingly asking, "You're not going to buy him porridge, are you?"
